The flying supercar is blasting up into the sky like a Jet and speeding like a Lambo while on the streets

The human being's desire to fly has been an obsession since a long time ago, and with more development of technology todays, it's possible to us be built the flying means are getting closer to the original dream, namely 'to fly like a bird.' Then what about the development of flying car technology? It seems that nowadays the development of flying cars is also possible, so it is not surprising that many companies have designed and developed flying car models.

Here is the Firenze Lanciare, a flying car concept designed by a Californian designer named Greg Brown who is claimed to be able to run fast on land like a Lamborghini and fly at 500 mph in the air like a Jet plane. The flying car mentioned above carries 'hybrid' styles which is able to make it a jet when in the air and a supercar like a Lamborghini when used on the highway. In either mode, the Californian designer claims his Firenze Lanciare will outperform any of the other flying-car designs under development.

While flying in the air, it uses the retractable wings extended, coupled with the the 2,000 lbs harnessing thrust derived from the two Williams FJ-33 jet engines, the Firenze Lanciare looks like a sci-fi aircraft. And said to be had an air cruising speed of 520 mph and a range of about 850 miles, thanks to a 300 gallon fuel tank. While on the road, Firenze Lanciare will uses two Tesla's electric motors with totaling 1,000 hp, so it can be accelerated from 0 to 60 mph such as the Lambo's acceleration, ie in less than four seconds.

As a former jet pilot, Brown showed that most of the systems and design elements used in the concept are already present in the aircraft todays. These elements include a blend of high-tech materials to provide strength while keeping weight down, including its foam-core body wrapped in carbon fiber, a chromoly frame and aluminum chassis.

Furthermore, the retractable tires produced by several automotive manufacturers already meet its proposed engineering specs. Then they combine with the off-road truck suspensions to allow rough-strip landings, while the jet thrust and carbon-fiber brakes mean the Firenze would only need 2,500 feet of runway. 

While the cockpit is not like the most aircrafts have, its interior is a pure supercar. Inside, the avionics includes a head-up display and fully redundant mechanical controls backed up by electrically actuated flaps and stabilizers. The leather seats for four occupants are coupled with sound-insulating foam, while laminated polycarbonate windows combine strength and sound dampening.

So far, the flying car true uses remains an unanswered question and potentially invites endless debate. Not to mention that you still need to take off and land at the airport under current laws and keep appointments for private airstrips. Is it much easier to drive to the airport, switch to flight mode, go through the initial check and take off than just to drive, park and transfer to a plane? Do the flying cars still sound more fun?

Still, in every commuter's minds could generally be described as follow, they driving a supercar down the highway and suddenly blasting up into the sky to get out of a traffic jam, or backing out of the driveway, firing up the jets and using the street as a runway. The fantasy such as the Jetson are universal, and soon to be realized into real.
It indicated and can be seen on the PAL-V which has received its road certification in Europe and is expected to receive approval from aviation authorities next year, so that its production phase will begin in 2022. The 812 Superfast goes into the next level

Maybe you still remember the figure of the Ferrari 250 GTO, one of the great iconic cars ever made by Ferrari, the Italian renowned premium car manufacturer with the prancing horse logoed in the 1960s.

Just to refresh our memory, the Ferrari 250 GTO ('Gran Turismo Omologata' or 'Grand Touring Homologated' in English) is a GT class car is used a V12 Tipo 168/62 Colombo engine and produced from 1962 to 1964 for fulfilling the homologation condition on the  FIA's Grand Touring Car Group 3 category.

In the present context, perhaps in your mind as a speed lover who idolizes the Italian prancing horse species wondering, is Ferrari in officially launching a model like the iconic 250 GTO once again? It seems those whisper echos had reached to the Maranello-based auto manufacturer and tease them to do something.

And now here's good news, Ferrari has officially launched its newest model although only one unit is made under the name Ferrari Omologata.

As quoted from Top Gear, this is a unique coachbuilt one-off model and is described by the Maranello-based manufacturer as a vibrant evocation of the values that define Ferrari in relation to GT racing. Also, it said as equally at ease on the road as it is hitting the apex on the track in the hands of a true gentleman driver.

This beautiful car was built by a Ferrari's special design team headed by Flavio Manzoni which is made entirely of aluminum, with a flattened oval grille, which tapers up to a rounded section over the front wheel arches. It sweeps back to the rear with a new three horizontal transverses 'cuts', while the new rear spoiler is said to offer downforce, and set off the car’s 'aggressive, sporty stance.'

Furthermore, Ferrari said that the Omologata was made especially under commission of a 'discerning European client' and was completed in about 2 years and had much to express. And among those many things, this Omologata is built on the base of the Ferrari 812 Superfast model where all that's left of 812 is the headlights, windshield, and chassis, while the rest is a variety of subtle nods of design inspired by science fiction, racing heritage, and modern architecture.

Even though it uses the same drivetrain as the 812 Superfast, a 6.5-liter V12 engine that is estimated to be capable of producing 789bhp of power, the Omologata's engine isn’t so much a big, powerful engine, and described as more a transcendental celebration of the internal combustion. Unfortunately, there is no performance record yet, although the Italian manufacturer says that this model has tested it on the Ferrari’s Fiorano test track.
Then what should be underlined about this model is the use of a new red color for the livery called Rosso Magma with a dark carbon fiber coating and special racing graphics developed by the Italian premium car manufacturer.

Inside, the leather/fabric seats are electric blue with four-point racing harnesses, and there are metal parts covered with a 'cracked paint' effect on the dashboard and steering wheel, to reflect Ferrari’s Fifties and Sixties GT racers. Katalis EV.1000, the latest Indonesian e-bike inspired by the P-51 mighty fighter plane

When electric vehicles become a trend that is actually practiced by automotive industry players in many countries in the world today. This also invites automotive industry players in Indonesia. But now we will discuss two-wheeled electric vehicles which are done specifically by an Indonesian design studio called Katalis Company which is fully supported by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Industry.

This electric bike is named Katalis EV.1000 TheArsenale specially made to appear at an exhibition in the City of Dream, Macau on September 25, 2020. It is also mentioned that the electric motorbike is the result of collaboration between Katalis Company with The Arsenale, an online-portal for the world's independent creators that offers transportation means and other products that prioritize design and technological innovation.

Previously, in April 2020 the Katalis Company had released a prototype electric-powered motorcycle with a similar design but with less power called the Katalis EV.500. By carrying out the same design inspiration, namely from the design of an old fighter plane P-51 Mustang with a strong and fierce impression.

However, there are some obvious differences between the two, as seen in the EV.1000 body which is painted in a matte black with orange-colored graphics which is meant to give a fierce aura, then there is installed an upside-down fork to hold tight its front-wheel while the EV.500 still uses a telescopic model. Then the next difference is in the electric motor which is now spew more bigger power.

The electric motor installed on the EV.1000 is capable of delivering up to 1,000 watts of power with a 48V-45Ah lithium battery. So that it is able to carry this EV. 1000 motorbike to run up to a top speed of 70-80kph with a maximum distance of 90km.

This electric motorbike is built using aluminum for the body and frame. In addition to the body (1mm aluminum) and frame (3mm aluminum), 3mm thickness aluminum is also used to make the swing arm in a boxy shape. 
Interestingly, each of the Katalis EV.1000's body panels is attached using rivets, so that it resembles the body of the aircraft which is the source of its inspiration. As quoted from TheArsenale, this compact-sized electric motorbike is offered at a price of around $ 9,999.00 (approx Rp. 146 millions).

A retro look German-made electric powered scooter

The German automotive company named 'Kumpan electric' is released the latest model of the electric scooter. Interestingly, this new electric scooter has a similar appearance to Vespa, an Italian scooter. When it first appeared, Kumpan 54 series only the Inspire and Iconic variants were available. The scooter powered by a 3 kW electric motor with a maximum speed of 45 kph, while the maximum coverage is up to 186 km.

Due to its speed is not much fast, so You are not required to have a driving license to take it running on the road (of Europe). But the company is well aware, not everyone wants to make their daily transportation at such a slow pace.

As a result, the Ignite and Impulse variants were created to fulfill the demands of a part of the consumer. There is no difference, but of course, its electric motor capacity is experienced a significant increase in specifications.

For example, the Ignite variant electric motor capable of producing 7 kW (9.4 hp) - 8.4 kW (11.3 hp) at its peak power. It is also able to go up to 100 kph, that's pretty good for a compact scooter, the battery still relies on the same type. There're two lithium-ion packages are stored in the back of the trunk, each with a capacity of 1.5 kWh. And if at any time you want to extend the mileage, there is one more battery space available.

By having three batteries are activated, Kumpan claims its e-scooter can run 80-110 km (combination). Depending on the weather conditions, riding style, to the rider's body size, it's not as impressive as its other variant. But even that distance was enough to get around the city. Meanwhile, the Impulse variant, whose more moderate, this scooter is not too slow and also not as excessive as the Ignite variant.

The electric motor throws a maximum power of 4 kW (5 hp) and touches a top speed of 70 kph. The batteries are the same, but if all three are installed, the resulting mileage extends from 100-120 km. The Ignite and Impulse batteries can be removed easily and the charging mechanism does need to be removed, the charging time for both are the same, all takes 4 hours. Not only environmentally friendly and fast, but there were also a variety of advanced features that are incorporated into these two scooter variants.

It is no exaggeration to call it the most sophisticated for the middle-class scooter. The scooter is featured with four driving modes: Sport, Comfort, Eco, and Rain. Next talking about appearance, the entire line-up of the Kumpan e-scooter is identical, but it's a bit difficult not to say the inspiration came from the Piaggio's Vespa. Because many body panels from the facade to the rear are similar, maybe because the retro theme that is carried is already synonymous with the iconic scooter from Italy.
The whole body is rounded. The façade is decorated with a large shield, along with a unique designed inverted triangle lamp, the headlight does not use mica, the light comes directly from the LED projector with a small, minimalist DRL, but high-tasted accents.

This Kumpan e-scooter is sold from €5,847 or around Rp.102 million. Meanwhile, its Ignite variant is offered in a little bit high priced of €6,822, or around Rp.119 million.

The latest Husqvarna e-scooter will be born in India

Recently, scooters have begun to become a trend in several countries. This can be seen with the widespread use of scooters, especially Vespa and several other Japanese and European brands. This seems to make a Swedish motorcycle brand, Husqvarna since last year has been preparing to present a new electric-powered scooter which is scheduled to be launched in 2021.

As reported by Rushlane, the electric scooter made by the Swedish manufacturer will be named Husqvarna E-01 which is also said to be entering the European scooter market as its main target next year. That's the information obtained from a leaked internal document that explains the short-term plans of KTM and Husqvarna.

It is clear that the company is preparing to build a strong presence in the affordable electric two-wheeler segment. Furthermore, Husqvarna plans two electric-powered two-wheeled vehicle models in the next two years and both will be produced in India.

According to those leaked documents, the Husqvarna and Bajaj are working together to present the Husqvarna-branded electric scooter named E-01 and an electric motorcycle called E-Pilen which is currently under development. For those who don't know, Bajaj Auto holds 48% of KTM's stakes which in turn owns the Husqvarna brand.

The Husqvarna E-01 (as it is known today) will be built from the Bajaj Chetak platform. This is a classic look scooter driven by an electric motor of 4 kW (5.4 hp) and 16 Nm of torque connected to a 3 kWh battery. This electric vehicle is equivalent to a 50 cc scooter, the company originally also intended to launch a 10 kW model (with a power similar to 125 cc), but for now it seems that it has been ruled out.

Well, as it is well known, that the e-scooter being developed by the Indian manufacturer uses a 4 kW motor so that it becomes a worthy platform that could be adopted by the latest Husqvarna scooter. Furthermore, the Indian electric powered scooter equipped with modern connectivity features which are expected also to be embedded in the Husqvarna E-01 scooter.

Still quoted from Rushlane, Husqvarna may opt to offer a higher capacity battery pack for an increased range. The Chetak has a claimed range of 95 km. The top speed is a little over 60 kph. Even though the e-scooter is manufacture in India, it does not mean that the Husqvarna E-01 will be sold in the domestic market. However, looking at the future of the premium electric scooter segment in India is quite promising and it would not be wrong for Husqvarna to hope to become one of the most successful new entrants.

Unique pre-war streamlined three-wheeler record breaker

We can see the pre-war period (around the 1930s) as one of the milestones in which has recorded that automotive technology experienced significant progress after the automotive industry players at that time began implementing aerodynamic principles to support the speed and stability of motorized vehicles when running on the street or on the race track.

Indeed, at that time, the world's automotive was also in the middle of the excitement of competing with each other to be the fastest on the racing track. And then it triggered competition among major countries in the world's automotive, especially in mainland Europe and America. And one of the countries that are also competing and the most ambitious is Germany.

DKW was part of Auto Union by 1932, a German giant automotive manufacturer, with DKW by then the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world.

As all we know, the Auto Union racing cars were one of the most powerful and exotic GP cars ever, and their competition with the likes of Mercedes-Benz and Alfa Romeo is straight in line with the DKW motorcycle story. BMW at the same time developed their 328 sports-racer, an incredibly competent and beautifully designed car, considered an all-time classic.

As a logical consequence of receiving Hitler's cash at that time, the racing teams and record-breaking of the two manufacturers were under the control and supervision of the Nazi government, so it is not surprising that their drivers and riders in mandatory wore and used various Nazi attributes. So that it gives the impression to the rivals that they are all Nazis. Although in fact, not all of them were supporters of the Nazi fascist government.

It seemed as if there was an agreement between BMW and DKW at that time to stay off each other's racing turf, as DKW focused on 250cc and 350cc GP racing and record-breaking, while BMW concentrated on 500cc racing and absolute World Speed Records.

At the time, BMW is perhaps better known for their BMW WR750 speed record motorcycles in 1936, while DKW as equally at the forefront of the new science of streamlining and engine development, having pioneered the Schnurle-loop scavenge system on their two-stroke engines, and the use of superchargers with twin-piston combustion chambers, so the blowers didn't simply push the fuel mix straight out the exhaust pipe.

It is known as well that at that time DKW was developing record-breaking racing vehicles with 250cc and 350cc engines alongside their Auto Union GP cars. The vehicle has appeared in a fabulously compelling bodywork with astonishing speed and sophistication, as it was developed in a wind tunnel (something they could afford with Nazi cash).

Uniquely, there's a vehicle made by DKW in the three-wheeled vehicle platform. It is not known whether it is included in one of the categories of vehicle classes that are competed in addition to motorbikes (two-wheeled vehicles) and cars (four-wheeled vehicles). 

It seems later than BMW (broke the agreement for a while) by developing an almost similar three-wheeled vehicle with an airplane-shaped design and is believed to be more stable than the DKW model.
