Lazzarini introduces the electric-powered limo concept specially for the rich in you

SuperVillain Rides Not like usual, this is just a parable to illustrate how unique the following car design is. Well, for example, we currently live in the comic world along with the rich superhero character of Batman in Gotham City who also known has a myriad of great vehicles such as the Batmobile, Batpod, Tumbler and others.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered supercar had an appearence of a four-seats electric-powered limousine that looks like a prototype of something that proper to drive by a rich super-villain in the 1980s to early 1990s. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Then have you ever imagined what kind of a proper four-wheeled vehicle would fit for the character of the rich supervillain? Maybe some of you will just shrug, because don't know what to say. And some might answer the Captain Nemo's Nautilus car, Schmidt Hydra Coupé or even the Studebaker XF58 'Ice Pincess' and others.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered supercar has length dimention of about 21.5-feet, while a wheelbase is almost eight feet wide. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Those such cars mentioned earlier might be too classic and old school for today's rich supervillains. So is there such a car and who designed it? After seeing the picture of the car above, of course you will think that there is a car that has a unique design and deserves to be driven by such the rich supervillains.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered long-snout supercar has a unique fancy canopy door features that opens from the back to the existing two doors. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Again, this is just an illustration, and of course it has nothing to do with a great car design made by an Italian car designer named Pierpaolo Lazzarini. As we all knew that he was a designer behind the Jet Capsule projects and the UFO houseboats, and by the end of 2020  he is revealed a new vehicle model named the Lazzarini One.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered supercar is technically an AWD hybrid, with a 600 hp engine and an additional 1,200 hp from four electric Bosch motors, one for every wheel. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Now and then, he does automotive concepts, sometimes just from a scratch, or starting from famous car marque like the Ferrari or the Fiat. The Lazzarini One is probably one of his the least talked-about projects, and would be had an appearence of a four-seats electric-powered limousine that looks like a prototype of something that proper to drive by a rich super-villain in the 1980s to early 1990s against the Batmobile.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered supercar perfectly unifies the futuristic and retro components into one. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Furthermore, Lazzarini describes this 1,200 horsepower four-seater as an electric limousine maybe a better and more precise description would be a supercar or a luxury sedan. It is technically an AWD hybrid, with a 600 hp engine and an additional 1,200 hp from four electric Bosch motors, one for every wheel. It is about 21.5-feet long, while a wheelbase is almost eight feet wide. Uniquely, the vehicle boasts an impressive canopy door that opens the roof from the back.
The Lazzarini One electric-powered supercar looks like something that would perfectly fit in the Tim Burton’s Batman universe, but coupled with an extra note of aggressiveness. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Considering the style, Lazzarini One unifies the futuristic and retro components. This extraordinary electric limousine looks like something that would perfectly fit in the Tim Burton’s Batman universe, but coupled with an extra note of aggressiveness and if it could be made into real world estimated the price very high as well, about €2,298,500 which is roughly $3.09 million at today’s exchange rate.
For someone who wanna has Lazzarini One, so he or she should be ready pay around €2.55 million, which is roughly $3.09 million at today’s exchange rate. (Picture from: LazzariniDesignStudio)
Unfortunately, Lazzarini didn’t offer specific details on this electric limousine project, which ended with a lack of attention in comparison to other projects. But one thing is for sure, this project serves as a reminder that we can shape the future whatever it is, according to our dreams and desires. If you were a visionary billionaire eager to draw supervillain comparisons, you should had this car. 😎
On his website, as you can read his motto, in which he states that he is a designer that believes in taking a different design approach. We can agree that he’s holding to it until today, while seen one of his craziest creations such the Lazzarini 550 Italia Prototipo Uno. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LAZZARRINIDESIGNSTUDIO | AUTOEVOLUTION | EDELSWISS-LIMOUSINE.CH ]

The Chery Jetour T-X Concept's front fascia similar to the Ford Bronco, is featured with illuminated Jetour lettering on the grille and modern style LEDs headlights. (Picture from: Carscoops)
There is something interesting about this Chery-made concept car that we can see in its exterior appearance, in which the Chery Jetour TX Concept figure by design can be likened to a cross-breeding between the new Ford Bronco which is represented by its front fascia and the Land Rover Defender which is reflected in the design of the windows and the car's back.

As You can see, this car uses large dark colored glass pillars, with a floating roof design, in addition on the side there is also no visible handle on the door, making the car's side appearances look so minimalist.

The Chery Jetour T-X Concept's rear end seem like to the Land Rover Defender with integrated LEDs taillight enhance the concept’s adventurous style. (Picture from: Autofun.co.id)
Furthermore, this car is claimed to have efficient energy consumption, this can be seen after in an official release the manufacturer stated that the Chery Jetour T-X Concept built based of the Chery-developed new Kunlun architecture to be able paired with a 'Kunpeng' plug-in hybrid engine.

Unmitigated, in addition to having a fairly economical fuel consumption, which is around 100 km per liter, the electric power supplied from the batteries is able to move the Chery's concept car as far as 1,000 km. Other information mentioned, that the concept car is also equipped with adaptive suspension and an all-wheel drive system complete with differential lock.
Still qouted of Carscoops, the Jetour TX production version will be marketed starting in 2023, and is predicted to be sold with a price range from CHN ¥150,000 to ¥300,000 (approximately Rp. 338.2 million to Rp. 375.7 million). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CHINAPEV | CARSCOOPS ]

Yamaha officially launches an aggressive-faced futuristic electric scooter

Exciting,Radical&Superior Glad to be able to share an article about scooters again. This time what we would be discussed is an electric-powered scooter made by the well-known Japanese manufacturer Yamaha which was recently released in Taiwan. It seems that the beginning of 2022 is the right moment for the Japanese manufacturer with the tuning fork logo in collaboration with Gogoro, a Taiwanese electric motorcycle maker to present its coolest products to the world.
Recently Yamaha Motor in collaboration with a Taiwanese electric motorcycle maker Gogoro had launched an agresive look electric scooter named Yamaha EMF. (Picture from: 24htech.asia)
And recently, they had launched a unique futuristic-themed small motorcycle or scooter called Yamaha EMF. In appearence, this Yamaha unique two-wheeled vehicle has tends to be slighty boxy-shape design, but eye-catching. How could be? After we look further, it turns out that the unique scooter released in Taiwan is not an ordinary one.
Yamaha EMF has minimalist turn lights which is installed in a horizontal position and integrated with the body. (Picture from: Tmcblog)
As the name implies, EMF which means Electro Motive Fighter is the latest electric scooter made by Yamaha that carries an exciting, radical and superior concept. Exciting which means fun to ride on the streets, then Radical means daring to innovate and lastly Superior means above the average of other electric scooters.
Yamaha EMF has a unique headlights with a modern square-shaped casing and are equipped with 2 projector lamps stacked vertically. (Picture from: Tmcblog)
The design was proven to be extreme and bold. If you seen at first glance, its front section looks similar to the Yamaha Q-Bix. The difference is that the EMF has many indentations and pulls that give a fully sporty impression. Each the exterior part had a pile up layer impressions so that it gives a macho and futuristic shapes overall. Moreover, the turn lights are also minimalist which is installed in a horizontal position and integrated with the body.
Yamaha EMF also featured with a fully digital speedometer and NFC activation card. (Picture from: Tmcblog)
Not only that, the headlights also look unique with a modern square-shaped casing and are equipped with 2 projector lamps stacked vertically. In addition every line stroke of designs produces a fierce impression for the size of an electric-driven scooter. Furthermore, the Yamaha EMF has a quite light weight of only 95 kg and is powered by an electric motor capable of producing power up to 10.3 PS @ 3,000 rpm with a torque of about 26 Nm @ 2,500 rpm. As a result, Yamaha EMF is able to go from zero to 50 km per hour in just 3.5 seconds.
Yamaha EMF has large enough luggage and also could be carried two Gogoro swappable batteries. (Picture from: Tmcblog)
Interestingly, due to  the new Yamaha electric scooter used a Gogoro swappable battery, in addition to be able charge directly by connecting to a regular home power source, so it can also be done by swapping its empty batteries at the Gogoro's battery swapping facilities. Understandably, such facilities of Gogoro have been installed throughout of Taipei. So you don't have to worry about running out of battery power when riding with the Yamaha EMF around the city in Taiwan nor should be waiting in a long time only for charging the battery.
Similar to its front, the Yamaha EMF has a unique taillights with a modern square-shaped casing and are equipped with 2  lamps stacked vertically. (Picture from: Rushlane)
There's another good news, the Yamaha EMF can store two batteries, it's just the scooter weight increases if carries two batteries at once. From the previous one battery only 95 kg with the addition of one more battery then the weight becomes 114 kg (still fairly light). Uniquely, due to it has flexibility regarding battery storage capacity, there's additional benefit if you only carrying one battery, the empty battery slot can be converted into an extra luggage. It's unknown how much it could be loaded but it's okay if it's just for storing small goods.
Yamaha EMF relies on an electric motor that produces 7.6 kW and 26 Nm of torque. (Picture from: Rushlane)
Yamaha EMF is equipped with a pair of quite small tires with 10-inch rims which are then wrapped by fat tire profiles at the front 100/90 and rear 130/90. Another features embeds on this new Yamaha electric scooter is the use of aluminum swing arm coupled with four piston hydraulic disc brakes with a Combined Braking System (CBS) in front and rear, dual rear shocks, Y-connect, NFC activation card and a full digital speedometer.

The Antelope named hypercar-likened flying ride managed to pass the free-flight test in Dubai

Flying Hypercar The development of automotive technology does not only focus on electric-powered and autonomous vehicles, but also flying cars. The development of this type of vehicle is largely based on futuristic assumptions which are intended as a solution to the current problem of urban society, namely traffic congestion due to more increasing population.
The Bellwether Industries’ Volar eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aerial ride named the Antelope is a flying hypercar for private owners. (Picture from: Khaleej Times)
Although the development of this type of vehicle is mostly still in the assessment stage and is still far from practical as conventional vehicles currently exist, nevertheless all of them deserve appreciation as an inspiring and innovative technological breakthrough.

Recently, there's one futuristic hypercar-likened flying ride had successfully completed a series of test flights in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its flight tests is revealed, a day after the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) was held its first legal forum to review the legislation for flying taxis.
This Bellwether Industries’ Volar eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) is the world’s first aerial ride without a large wingspan or exposed blades, making it ideal for urban use. (Picture from: New Atlas)
Those electric-powered hypercar-likened flying ride is called the Bellwether Industries Volar eVTOL aka the Antelope is designed and developed by a London-based startup company named Bellwether Industries. And by November 2021, the Antelope prototype (in half-scale) has managed to complete a series of testing in Dubai.

The company said that the ultimate vision of a full-scale the Antelope Volar eVTOL ride will be a 4-to-5-seat aircraft carrying out intracity travels at an altitude of 3,000 feet (915 metres) with a speed of up to 220 kilometres per hour (135 miles per hour).

As qouted of Khaleej Times, in the last two years, the whole team whose developed the Bellwether Volar eVTOL (stands for 'electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing') aerial vehicle has also carried out several iteration phases to improve the the prototype's flight capability and performances.
The Bellwether Volar eVTOL prototype called the Antelope in half-scale has managed to complete its free-flight tests in Dubai. (Picture from: Coventry Telegraph)
“Our Volar flying prototype smoothly and proves our pursuit of innovation and technology. We believe in our volar and will strive for perfection with continuous improvement," said Kai-Tse Lin, chief operating officer and co-founder of Bellwether Industries.

“The test flight was carried out at an altitude of 13 feet at a speed of 40 km per hour. This test demonstrates the stability and controllability of the prototype. This step will be the beginning of a series of development projects," he added.
Bellwether says the ultimate vision of a full-scale Volar will be a 4-to-5-seat aircraft carrying out intracity travels at an altitude of 3,000 feet (915 metres) with a speed of up to 220 kilometres per hour (135 miles per hour). (Picture from: Khaleej Times)
As proof of the success of the test, the company then posted a short video of the Volar's test flight on social media titled "The era of urban air mobility has begun." As you can see on the video the flying vehicle was capable taking off from an open area of the park, then flying in a while before landing again safely.

The current prototype only has two seats, in the future, the hypercar-likened flying ride can be filled with five seats that capable to fly about 5 people. The company mentioned that its flying hypercar is designed to replace the currently conventional road-use vehicle, and also could be said the Bellwether Industries' Antelope is the world's first eVTOL flying ride without a large of wingspans or exposed propeller blades.

Next development of the Antelope aerial ride prototype in the full-scale is scheduled to be completed and ready to re-test in 2023. Furthermore the company said as qouted of its official website, they believe that people traveling in the sky are inevitable in the next 10 years. Therefore, and that's the reason they made the Volar aerial ride afor anyone to fly anytime and anywhere to any point.
Although the Volar was not the first flying cars have been explored in Dubai. As we all knew during the 2021 Dubai Air Show, there's a Florida-based LuftCar said it was developing an autonomous land-rides that could be mounted and removed from the flying module.
As we all knew, Dubai has passed a law regulating the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in July 2020. So in November, the RTA said it was reviewing the legislation of the flying taxis and self-driving skypods.

This seems to be in line with the Dubai's ambitious Sky Dome project which be allowed the city's skies filled by manned or unmanned aerial rides that will link places and buildings via landing pads and mini airports across the city. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BELLWETHER INDUSTRIES | EVTOL | KHALEEJ TIMES | THENATIONALNEWS ]

Toyota prepares an electric pickup prototype said to be the Hilux EV

nEW rIVAL Lately, the development progressing of electric-powered vehicles seems very rapidly, lots of automotive manufacturers from around the world are competing to develop these kind of vehicles with many reasons. The main thing, aside from being a form of concern for environmental issues, is also as an effort to anticipate the depletion of conventional fuel availability.

As well as one of the Japanese automotive giants, Toyota Motor Company (TMC) don't want to miss in the development of electric-powered vehicles, this can be seen after some time ago the Japanese manufacturer launched an electric-powered production car model named Toyota bZ4X, which is said to be the first to be seriously produced and sold under the Toyota's marque.

And the latest news from the Japanese manufacturer states that the company are also getting ready to launch the upcoming Toyota Hilux model in an electric-powered vehicle (EV) version. However the Hilux EV mentioned above wouldn't be launched in the near future.
The all-electric pickup was revealed alongside another off-roader, the “Compact Cruiser” small SUV. (Picture from: Dispatchlive.co.za)
The leak of the birth of the Toyota Hilux EV as one of dozens of the cars that will become the future of Toyota's electric car up to 2030. As is known, Toyota recently announced its plans to market electric-powered vehicles, one of them were produced and sold electric pick-up models which could be the Toyota Hilux 2024.

According to Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota who chaired the virtual press conference in person revealed many prototypes of electric cars called the "Dream Product Group". Unmitigated the Japanese automaker is ready to sell up to 30 models in the next eight years with an investment budget of up to ¥8-trillion ($70bn)!
Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda previews some of the Toyota and Lexus EVs planned for the next decade. (Picture from: Dispatchlive.co.za)
Currently, the Toyota Hilux EV 2024 has been not revealed yet its true looks and identity. But in the list of Toyota's future electric concept cars, there is one prototype that has been introduced in the form of a modern and dashing electric-powered pick-up trucks.

Although it is still as the speculation, it is also possible that this car is the next generation of the current Toyota Hilux which will make the double cabin pick-up market hotter. Because in the almost same time in fact the new Tesla's controvertial Cybertruck has been introduced and has not been sold in general around the world.
Some of electric-powered concept cars included in the Toyota and Lexus EVs planned lineups for the next decade. (Picture from: Autocar.co.nz)
If you want a quirky weird looking electric pick-up like the Tesla Cybertruck, you might be dissapointed. Because the design of the Toyota Hilux EV 2024 concept version is quite 'normal'. There is no such a rigid angled form of the roof as it's present in the Tesla Cybertruck.

Instead, there is a frightening appearance that at a glance is similar to the Toyota Tacoma circulating in North America today. Due to the size of the Toyota Tacoma itself is larger than the Toyota Hilux. So that the pick-up model is not properly called the successor to the Toyota Tacoma.
Toyota’s electric pickup prototype said to be the Hilux EV which having many the Tacoma styling cues. (Picture from: Autofun)
Furthermore, as you can be seen from the shape of the main headlight which appeared in a sharp angle at the inner end and showcases the use of a contemporary DRL and LED projector. The frightening and dashing impression is seen while maintaining the identity adopted of the new Toyota Tundra design with black panels and horizontal fog lamps at the bottom of the bumper. So that the pick-up feels thick with an aura of typical American pick-up.

The strong impression typical of Toyota's double cabin pickup also survives as You can see in a whole of the car. As seen in the grille of the Toyota Hilux EV 2024 itself, it only provides two horizontal holes at the top and bottom. While the large air grille is now coated in a body-matching white color with subtle honeycomb accents.

Turning to the side, the emphasis on a firm impression appears in the combination of the squared C-pillar and the rounded muscles on the door. There is also a clear line in the black wheel housing that matches the roof panels.
In the presentation of the EV pick-up figure, Toyota not reveal the platform would be used. However, it is likely that the e-TNGA electric vehicle platform used. As a support for mobility in all fields, an all-wheel-drive system and a relatively large battery are also prepared, as it also used in its SUV model, the Toyota bZ4X and said has a power of 71.4 kWh. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | TOYOTA | STUFF.CO.NZ | AUTOFUN | AUTOCAR | EVCENTRAL | DISPATCHLIVE.CO.ZA ]
