You might look the air purifier on wheels milling around on the streets someday in the future

Concept ONLY Lately, there has been growing a trend of the changes of the fossilI-fueled vehicle technology into the vehicles with renewable energy, in this case electrical energy. It can be seen of the many automotive manufacturers are aggressively developing electric-powered vehicles, even as if these manufacturers are competing to present the most futuristic vehicle designs.
The Aether electric-powered motorcycle concept designed by a Taiwanesse auto designer named Lin Yu Cheng. (Picture from: ZigWheels)
And one of them is an electric motorbike named Aether Electric Motorcycle Concept, the work of a Taiwanese automotive designer named Lin Yu Cheng. As quoted of Visordown, the electric-powered motorbike will be equipped with super sophisticated technology, such as wireless charging technology or in other words, its batteries can be charged wirelessly. Very sophisticated, isn't?
The Aether electric-powered motorcycle may look like an iron with wheels, but you have to applaud the ingenuity of the idea attached in it such the wireless charging and advanced air purifier systems. (Picture from: ZigWheels)
Besides being powered by renewable energy sourced of the electric motor, it turns out that the motorcycle is also carried an eco-friendly technology. Well, according to the designer, the Aether electric-powered motorbike can also clean the air through an air purifier system pinned in it. It's said, that the air purifier functioned to be able to clean carbon monoxide produced by other vehicles in the vicinity.
The Aether electric-powered motorcycle within its dimensions, riding style, coupled with so many advanced features pinned in it. (Picture from: ZigWheels)
By those advance device systems, the air entering into the device and then will be expelled as the filtered and clean air, because the motorcycle has massive air intake ducts that channel air into the ceramic filter modules is functioned as an air purifier to trap PM 2.5 micro-particles. Furthermore, those air purifier components also can be cleaned or replaced periodically so that its function continues to run optimally.
The Aether electric-powered motorcycle has sophisticated wireless charging and also air purifier systems. (Picture from: ZigWheels)
Now the actual motorcycle may look like an iron with wheels, but you have to applaud the ingenuity of the idea. As mentioned above, this electric-powered motorcycle concept is also equipped with a wireless charging system that is placed under the motorbike. So, to charge it, no longer needs a cable connecting from the charging slot to the motorcycle. It is also stated to charging the battery takes only 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, this is still a matter of debate because if the motorcyle can be realized, there should be infrastructure that supports all those systems embeded on the motorbike. Because, when parked in an ordinary parking lot, the wireless charging system will not work optimally. So maybe it should be rethought to also embed a conventional battery charging system that still need the cables..
That's very promising future, if someday there are so many such these electric motorbikes with air purifier technology milling around the streets. So it could be made less air pollutants around us. And finally, the question now is whether the technology can be realized in the near future, given that today we live among the urban society with so many pollutants?😣

How unique the Bertone Blitz EV concept of the '90s

UNIque ONES Indeed today we are in the era of electric vehicles. It feels like just yesterday, we are amazed when we see electric-powered concept cars presented by the makers. But now, there were so many electric-powered vehicles had been milling about on the streets.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept is one of the 79 units of Bertone's collections bought by the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (Italian Historic Automobile and Motorcycle Club) in the auction event held in the 2015. (Picture from: WardsAuto)
So it should be if we thank those who pioneered this electric vehicle, ranging from the very beginning of its development to the present day. So that in recent years we have been inundated with electric cars from small to large automakers and ranging from regular to high performance.

On this occasion, we are trying to return to the 1990s when electric-powered vehicles were not what they are now, and were still looking for the shape and direction of its development, which sometimes gives birth to unique forms that are look weird when viewed today.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept on display at the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (Italian Historic Automobile and Motorcycle Club) museum in Volandia near Milan-Malpensa Airport. (Picture from: Wikipedia)
And the Bertone Blitz electric-powered car is one of those most bizarre interpretations ever built in the 1990s of what an EV sports car should look be like. When viewed at the time this car was being developed, indeed, the Blitz was said to be ahead of its time. This concept electric car made by Bertone at a glance has a physical appearance that is no less eccentric than a Fiat Multipla which also came from the same era.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept in another style of bodywork, which has a difference in the front fascia. (Picture from: Carstyling.ru)
This prototype is an open-air two-seater electric-powered show car created in the 1992 as a study design and also experimented with electric traction and with new materials for the chassis and bodywork. To achieve the desired 'lightness', the body is made by Albatech in 25CD4 steel tubes, mounted with fiberglass panels with epoxy resin and a Roacell core.

Well, the bodywork consists entirely of composite materials (consisted of epoxy glass and autoclave-produced nomex), with the interior made of carbon. So it's not surprising that the car weighs only 650 kg (1,433 lbs), of which 260 kg (572 lbs) is the weight of the batteries.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept's performance is also decent via two 36 horsepower (continuous output) DC motors with a total torque of 95 Nm. (Picture from: Carstyling.ru)
Moreover, its appearence peeled at the back, fully open roofless, with an unusual seating layout (with the driver's seat located slightly in front of the passenger seat). The closest production car analogy to it was the Volkswagen XL1, which has an almost similar seating layout, but it was a sport coupe and has a diesel-hybrid drivetrain.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept appearence peeled at the back, fully open roofless, with an unusual seating layout. (Picture from: Carstyling.ru)
Another feature of great impact was the solution created for the car's door, which are the front-hinged and opens vertically. It's a concept taken from the Alfa Romeo Carabo made by Bertone in 1968 and which had subsequently been used on a succession of other models.

The car's performance is also decent via two 36 horsepower (continuous output) DC motors with a total torque of 95 Nm. So that it can make the car accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in six seconds. This Bertone's electric powered car range is 100 to 130 km per charge and its lead acid battery can be recharged in 4 to 6 hours.
1992 Bertone Blitz electric-powered sporty vehicle concept range is 100 to 130 km per charge and its lead acid battery can be recharged in 4 to 6 hours. (Picture from: Carstyling.ru)
We were assumes 2 units ever had produced (according to the pictures shown at several sites such Carstyling, Conceptcarz, etc), both of which had that incredible two-tiered design like the Fiat Multipla and have been shown off for the first time at the 1992 Turin International Motor Show.🙏
Unfortunately, after surviving for almost 102 years since it was first founded in 1912, Carrozzeria Bertone finally should closed the doors after being declared bankrupt in 2014.😭 And a lot of its works were then auctioned off starting in 2015 and one of them is the 1992 Bertone Blitz which is now sat on display at the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) Museo in Volandia near Milan-Malpensa Airport. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | WIKIPEDIA | CONCEPTCARZ | JALOPNIK | CARSTYLING.RU | AUTOCAR | WARDSAUTO ]

Lotus E-R9, the future race car of 2030

Concept ONLY After some time ago we have submitted an article about Lotus Eleven, one of the 1950s famous racing cars from Lotus and also to replace the Lotus Nine, its legendary race car. So now we are trying to see the racing cars that will be used in the future, which seems to have been trying to predict by Lotus through an electric racing car design study for the 2030 season named Lotus E-R9.
Lotus E-R9 Concept inspired by the best level of aerodynamics of a fighter jet. (Picture from: KabarOto)
The car concept is inspired by an airplane that has the best level of aerodynamics. This was emphasized by Richard Hill, Chief Aerodynamicist of Lotus Engineering, that the car concept drives such a car in general but the curves like a fighter jet.

The canopy is seen in common fighter aircraft and the delta-wing shape at the top. Another innovation in the form of active aerodynamics with moving panels and vertically attached to control the car during fast cornering. Then its colors displayed are black and gold, which are the hallmarks of Lotus, which known has a legacy of being the 13-time the world's racing champion of Formula-1.
Lotus E-R9 Concept explained as an Endurance Racer as a tribute to the legendary race car of the Lotus Nine. (Picture from: KabarOto)
Lotus Engineering has big responsible in the E-R9 concept developing then to translate it as a showcase of technology or even philosophy, capabilities, and the spirit of more advanced development in terms of electrification and aerodynamics. They has indeed been recognized for its ability as a consultant for companies that want to build fast cars.

Furthermore, they're explained the meaning of the E-R is Endurance Racer, while the number 9 is the Lotus's sacred number in its heyday. It is the Lotus Mk-9, the race car designed by the Lotus's founder Colin Chapman, driven by selected racers and debuted at the 1955 24-Hours Le Mans.
Lotus E-R9 Concept plan to race later in 2030 and at the time would be a celebration of the 75th anniversary of Lotus Nine since it first raced at the 1955 24-Hours Le Mans. (Picture from: KabarOto)
If in 1955, the Lotus Nine took part in the Le Mans racing event for the fisrt time, that's meaning if later in 2030, the Lotus E-R9 concept car going to race and at the time would be a celebration of the 75th anniversary of Lotus Mark IX.
As Louis Kerr, a Vehicle Architect of Group Lotus plc, said, "Battery energy density and power density are developing significantly year on year. Before 2030, we'll have mixed cell chemistry batteries that give the best of both worlds, as well as the ability to 'hot-swap' batteries during pitstops" That's mean the battery development is also being carried out so that when the car make a pit stop, it wouldn't need much time to replace the battery.

They're also mentioned, that the Lotus E-R9 will feature the most advanced electric drive that independently transmits power to each wheel, working in conjunction with torque-vectoring which known previously had applied on the Lotus Evija electric-powered hypercar. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTOR1 | AUTOBLOG ]
