Here it is the Finnish retro-styled electric supercar

Unique ONES It may be that Finland is known as a country that has a series of famous racers such Valtteri Bottas, Heikki Kovalainen, Kimi Raikkonen, Mika Hakkinen, Juha Kankkunen, etc. But not many know that the country had supercar manufacturer as well. This is probably because it less in prestige with its neighbour country supercar manufacturer, Koenigsegg Automotive AB managed to achieve success in the world's automotive.

Toroidion, a Finnish supercar manufacturer has recently introduced an electric supercar concept named To
roidion 1MW Concept at the Top Marques Monaco 2015. Although still a concept, but the manufacturer claims that the power of Toroidion 1MW is equivalent to Koenigsegg One:1.

Prior to the debut, Toroidion could provide some teaser photos, which is described in the all-sloping design. This is a supercar and definitely going to be sold very expensive price, because it is said to be produced by hand made, with high quality materials.
The Toroidion 1MW has attached also a clean, elegant design with classic proportions and a little bit of retro touches inside the cabin. (Picture from: CarScoops)
Finnish car manufacturer to build a 1MW supercar with designs inspired by retro-classical era, with an output of 1,341 hp which is equivalent to 1,000 kW or 1 MW as the name implies. Even more impressive, the entire power generated by a series of electric motors and making it as all-electric supercar that has the biggest power in the world today.

Toroidion say that the battery system used has a light weight but has high performance. Toroidion also claims that the lightweight supercar concept designed, developed and built in Finland have 'measurable performance.' At the time, the company also said that the Toroidion 1MW can be used on public roads, even for everyday activities.
Well, more details about the specifications and performance of Toroidion 1MW will be released in the near future, after this supercar undergoing various tests beforehand. Unfortunately, as quoted of Wikipedia, on March 3, 2022, this Finnish automotive company having financial problems and filed for bankruptcy.😢 So that the continuation of the 1MW car project is not known. *** [EKA [22042015]| FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | TOROIDION | CARSCOOPS | WIKIPEDIA ]

This Porsche 928 was another controversial cars ever made by Strosek

Rare ONES The journey of a well-known brand such as Porsche cannot be separated from the brilliance of the company founder to set strong company foundation which continues to be passed down and continued by his successors who are very astute and cold-handed in managing an automaker company, therefore it is always able to produce various classy-reliable cars, so it is not surprising that the brand's prestige is maintained until now.
The Strosek Auto's program for the Porsche 928 (in pictured the Porsche Strosek 928S Version I) consisted of a series of spoilers, bumpers and other cosmetics divided into three stages, the Version I, II and III. (Picture from: Carscoops)
Despite the historical facts as mentioned above, and how famous this Stuttgart-based car manufacturer often produces the best cars that are tough on the streets and on the racetrack, such as the famous Porsche 911 model with all its derivatives or many other models. And many of these famous models, it turns out that there are also unique models that are specially made by third parties and maybe not too many people know about their existence like the following;
The Porsche Strosek 928 is adorned by a shade of blue paint, it looks like it has a number of distinctive Strosek parts including widened front and rear wheel arches, as well as reshaped doors with three locks on either side. (Picture from: Carscoops)
The model in question is a unique Porsche 928 Strosek, as we all know, if the Porsche 928 model is arguably one of the lesser-known iconic cars made by the German manufacturer, was launched in 1977, and ever voted as the car of the year of 1978. However, things are different regarding a third-party company that modifies this lesser-known Porsche 928 model.
The Porsche Strosek 928S Version I wears a set of BBS wheels that fit cars from this era perfectly. (Picture from: Carscoops)
For those that don’t know, previuosly We have also discussed Strosek Auto Design regarding to the controversial Lamborghini Diablo VT/R model sometime ago. The German coachbuilder company has made a name for itself modifying 911 models over the decades and back in the day, also tried its hand at customizing the 928. It is unclear just how many 928s received the Strosek treatment, though it is known that the German coachbuilder also made a number of kits for the Porsche 928 in both Coupe and Roadster styles from 1984 to the early 1990s.
The interior of Porsche Strosek 928 Version I looks quite striking which is mostly clad in brown colored genuine-leather that spreads throughout the dashboard, door panels, center console, pillars, headliner, and seat bolsters, while the center of the seats and door panels have a checkered finish. (Picture from: Carscoops)
As qouted of 1000Sel, the German coachbuilder company's program for the Porsche 928 consisted of a series of spoilers, bumpers and other cosmetics divided into three stages, the Version I, II and III. And this particular example in pictured is thought to be the only one with this specification known as the Porsche Strosek 928S Version I marked with absence additional large spoiler at rear.
The Porsche Strosek 928 is powered by V8 engine, but it's unknown whether the mentioned engine gets a performance upgrade from the coachbuilder. (Picture from: Carscoops)
Well, when we've looked at the exterior appearance of the modified Porsche 928 Strosek, which adorned by a shade of blue paint, it looks like it has a number of distinctive Strosek parts. These include widened front and rear wheel arches, as well as reshaped doors with three locks on either side. Meanwhile on the legs, this modified Porsche 928 Strosek wears a set of BBS wheels that fit cars from this era perfectly. This makes the car look even more aggressive than the standard 928 model which in our opinion is very well deserved, but probably for some Porsche fanatics wouldn't like it.
The Porsche Strosek 928S Version I marked with absence additional large spoiler at rear. (Picture from: Carscoops)
The Porsche Strosek 928 is powered by a large, state-of-the-art V8 engine, but it's unknown whether the mentioned engine gets a performance upgrade from the coachbuilder. Under standard conditions the 928's engine is capable of spewing power around 240 break horsepower. While the interior of the 928 looks quite striking which is mostly clad in brown colored genuine-leather that spreads throughout the dashboard, door panels, center console, pillars, headliner, and seat bolsters, while the center of the seats and door panels have a checkered finish.
As quoted of ClassicDriver, the Porsche Strosek 928 could be said as a controversial car, especially for those German brand fanatic fans, but it does tell a compelling story of 1970’s and 1980’s car tuning. It is becoming a sign of the times and although it may be deemed tacky by some, its value as a rarity styled by a legendary Porsche tuner is likely to grow as time goes by. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOPS | CLASSICDRIVER | 1000SEL ]

When rappers collaborate with automakers, then the unique Will.I.AMG is born

Wild ONES There have been many collaborations between artists and car makers and it is certain that the result of this collaboration is something unique and special. As we could be seen recently, there's a quirky looks Mercedes-AMG GT four-door custom named Will.I.AMG which is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and the famous American artist and musician, Will.I.Am. Maybe you still remember, in the past one of the custom VW Beetle based cars of this American musician had also made a stir in the automotive world due to its uniqueness.

To realize this unique Will.I.AMG custom car, the famous American musician brought a 4-door Mercedes-AMG GT to the famous West Coast Custom modification house, which was famous through one of the MTV's shows in the 1990s titled Pimp My Ride. According to the musician, this project's aim is to encourage young people to dare to come up with new ideas, while at the same time doing the impossible.

"I grew up in the ghetto. I grew up with hip-hop. I watched legendary hip-hop rap artists and knew about Mercedes from them. It's always been a dream to be a Mercedes owner. Well, for many kids in the city, owning a Mercedes is a fortune symbol and progress of the struggle," explained the man whose real name is William James Adam Jr.

“Now I've gained my goals and pushed even higher by re-imagining and creating my own vision of the AMG model. But I didn't touch the engine, because AMG really makes the best engine," added the man who was born and raised with an American hip hop group, the Black Eyed Peas.

So, if you look at the appearance of the AMG GT 4-door modified model, which should have four doors, it has been changed to only two doors combined in a suicide door style with an opening facing the front. While the front fascia, which was originally aggressive, has changed drastically because it uses the Mercedes-Benz G-Class fascia.

Indeed, the car that was the result of a collaboration between Will.I.Am and Mercedes-AMG was inspired by two legendary Mercedes-Benz models, namely the SLS Gullwing and the G-Class. Besides that, the Will.I.AMG modified car still uses the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door's engine, which is a 3.0 liter turbo intercooler capable of producing a peak power of 362 horsepower, with a torque of 369 Nm, and transfered to all wheels.

Even so, in addition to the quirky front fascia and large front opening doors, the roof of this unique custom sedan is also partially made of glass. While the Mercedes-Benz emblem, was replaced by a cute bear logo named “Bear Witness” (although at first glance the Mercedes emblem can still be seen) on the front grille and rim cover.

Associated with the use of this unique emblem, reportedly to promote a limited collection of clothing and accessories under the brand of "Bear Witness". Therefore, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Bear Witness Drop 1 - Limited Edition collection will be donated to the artist's i.am/Angel Foundation.

Regarding this collaborative project, the German manufacturer through Philipp Schiemer, the Chairman of the Management Board of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. said, "Our collaboration with Will.I.Am has reached new heights with 'The Flip'. We have inspired and motivated each other in realize this holistic concept, which is so much more than just a great car. We take our responsibility to society seriously."
As it is known, that the Will.I.AMG is one of the six collaborative projects between Will.I.Am and Mercedes-AMG called "The Flip-Innovation for Purpose," which has the aim of providing access to education and skills for students and disadvantaged communities, through a fundraiser event featured at the United States Grand Prix 2022 - F1 Race, in Miami. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ID.MOTOR1 | ]

The only one road-legal version of Walter Wolf's Porsche 935

One-OFF As far as street-legal race cars go, Walter Wolf's Porsche 935 is like nothing you've ever seen before. As we all knew, that Walter Wolf is a very successful Austrian-Canadian entrepreneur who got his start by working on oil rigs himself. He then made a fortune as a supplier of oil-drilling equipment in the North Sea. This enabled him to live an extremely lavish lifestyle, one in which he fed his love for adrenaline with a collection of wild and unique exotic cars.
The one-off road legal version of the Porsche 935 K3 Spec by Kremer Racing commissioned by Walter Wolf. (Picture from: RoadandTrack)
He has many exotic car collections designed to meet his specifications and specially hand-built, each is crazy in its own way, featuring increased power, cutting-edge brakes, incredible aerodynamics, and more. Notable examples were his Lamborghini Countach supercars that almost had him buying the factory to save it.
This famous Lamborghini Countach LP500S Custom was one of Walter Wolf's exotic car collections. (Picture from: RoadandTrack)
However, even then those special Lamborghinis got superseded by an even better street-legal supercar built based on the celebrated Porsche 935 race car. It was a racing car preceded by the Porsche 911-based 934 series, and developed to compete in the Group 5 class in the '70s.  At the time, the class was considered the pinnacle of GT racing.
The one-off road legal version of the Porsche 935 K3 Spec has wide and heavily-aerodynamic exterior was constructed with body panels made of Kevlar. (Picture from: ClassicDrivers)
Initially, Porsche didn't want to sell one of this racing car to Walter Wolf, but with deep pockets and a good standing in motorsports, such being the then owner of the Wolf Racing Formula 1 team, no wonder he could be bought it from those Stuttgart-based automaker.
According to Kremer Racing, the Walter Wolf's road legal Porsche 935 K3 Spec is 98 percent identical to its racer sibling that won Le Mans outright in 1979. (Picture from: HotCars)
At first Walter Wolf had approached Porsche to build him a special custom road legal version of Porsche 935, but they turned it down. After that, unlike other people who usually took the donor car to a well-known coachbuilder company, instead he took it to the Kremer Racing's workshop and asked them to make him a Porsche 935 K3 Spec.
The only one road-legal version of the Porsche 935 K3 Spec is powered by a twin-turbo 2.85-liter six-cylinder engine similar to that used by its race-winning sibling at the Le Mans racing of 1979. (Picture from: HotCars)
For your information, the Porsche 935 K3 Spec racer made by Kremer Racing in 1979 won the Le Mans race, beating even Porsche's factory racing team cars. In short, the racing team based in Cologne accepted the wild request, and consulted closely with Wolf and emphasised to him that almost any mechanical aspect of the car could be adapted to his tastes. But in that respect, Wolf insisted the car was as close to the racer as possible.
The Porsche 935 K3 Spec racer made by Kremer Racing in 1979 won the Le Mans race, beating even Porsche's factory racing team cars. (Picture from: HotCars)
So, according to Kremer, the car is 98 percent identical to the K3 that won Le Mans outright in 1979. Unlike most supercars, the wide and heavily-aerodynamic exterior was constructed with body panels made of Kevlar, not aluminum or carbon fiber.

It rolls on 16-inch BBS multi-piece wheels. The car's suspension was softer than the one used in the Porsche 935 race car, while its Bilstein dampers were adjusted, so the ride height could be raised to 3.93 inches.
The one-off road legal version of the Porsche 935 K3 Spec has many unique features on the outside included tiny sidelights and indicators installed to make it roadworthy, as well as a specially-fabricated exhaust. (Picture from: HotCars)
Walter Wolf's street-legal Porsche 935's only unique features on the outside included tiny sidelights and indicators installed to make it roadworthy, as well as a specially-fabricated exhaust. The latter, tailor-made for Wolf's car, took six months to make. And after several months, Walter Wolf's Porsche 935 was ready for the road.
No other street-legal Porsche 935 racer from that period has ever been built, making it unique. Still, one thing's certain: being a one-off, this Porsche 935 is nowhere cheap. Ordering it new in 1979, Walter Wolf forked out $1.8 million (adjusted for 2018). We can guess whoever bought it had to pay over more than that.😮 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | HOTCARS | ROADANDTRACK | CLASSICDRIVERS  ]

Romulus Predator is said the first automobile to be developed entirely with computers

Forgotten ONES Not everything that is initially began with good plan, then produced will reap satisfactory results in the market, maybe that's a suitable series of words to describe the following vehicles designed by M & L Auto Specialists Inc., a small American automotive company specialized in creating auto reproductions of world's top brand like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar or Lotus for nearly two decades.
Romulus Predator is built by M & L Auto Specialists workshop in Two Rivers, Wisconsin in collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Company and 4 industry-leading mechanical-design-software vendors. (Picture from: 7Car.tw)
The car in question is given a name of the Romulus Predator, initially designed by Mark Gerisch and his small team at M & L Auto Specialists workshop in Two Rivers, Wisconsin then produced in a collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Company and four industry-leading mechanical-design-software vendors.

Related to this Romulus Predator, firstly the car desain made by using traditional clay methods, and for more complex shapes and opening such as the car cabin with sheet metal parts methods, after then switched to the Hewlett-Packard' mechanical computer-aided design (MCAD). As quoted of 7Car.tw, the design of computer-aided software design system such as MCAD done by the American company was known earlier than Koenigsegg or SAAB and other factories.
Romulus Predator is powered by a mid-mounted V10 engine sourced from Ford. (Picture from: 7Car.tw)
And no wonder if the Romulus Predator could be said the first automobile to be developed entirely with computers. This instrumental aiding work of the car designing and building was carried out in less than four months.
Romulus Predator is featured with deep air scoops along the sides, swept-back windshield and butterfly-typed swing-up doors. (Picture from: 7Car.tw)
Consideration of the use of the computer-based system, because the traditional method requires constant revision of the model to be smooth. For example, it takes at least 20 repeated tests from conception to completion. The auxiliary software production can be simulated directly in the computer, and the production only needs to be completed once, which can be accurate and off course cost-saving.
Romulus Predator's bodywork made of such light material of fibreglass, no wonder that this car then has a fairly light weight, which is around 1,134 kg. (Picture from: 7Car.tw)
As the result, the Romulus Predator is launched for the first at the AutoFact Motor Show in Detroit, Michigan in November of 1997. Don't know why after finished the car didn't bear the M&L trademark, but was launched under the brand of Romulus.
Romulus Predator has an aerodynamical curvaceous fibreglass bodywork of two-seater coupe. (Picture from: 7Car.tw)
As You can see, the Romulus Predator has an aerodynamical curvaceous fibreglass bodywork featured with deep air scoops along the sides, swept-back windshield and butterfly-typed swing-up doors, besides it's powered by a mid-mounted V10 engine sourced from Ford. Well, thanks to the use of such light materials for its bodywork, no wonder that this car then has a fairly light weight, which is around 1,134 kg. Unfortunately, there's no info about its performance.😢

This supercar is a quite surprising contradiction and invites many questions, even though it is designed and built by using a sophisticated computer-based system, but still unable to make the results appear on the market.
There's only one car ever been produced without a definite mass production plan (although at the exhibition, that the company stated soon will make its production version in the next 2 years with a price starting at $150,000). It's a shame if the such beautiful car that is built in a sophisticated way only becomes a display forever.😢 What do you think? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CONCEPTCARZ | GTPLANET | 7CAR.TW | SFGATE | ALLCARINDEX ]

Fiero thought itself would be Enzo

Weird ONES Sometime ago we've found there's a Fiero thought itself would be Enzo, weird isn't? As we all know that the Ferrari Enzo is a very rare and expensive supercar that only real multimillionaires or billionaires can buy. However, for very different money, (if it sold), you can own the unique Pontiac Fiero, which disguised itself as the famous Italian supercar, and dubbed the Fierri or Fiero 'Enzo'.😀
This unique Fierri Enzo car creation built based on 1986 Pontiac Fiero and inspired by Ferrari Enzo. (Picture from: CarAkoom)
Might be for some it seems unique and pretty good in its new guise. Unfortunately, the same opinion cannot be said by others, especially for those true Ferrari loyalists. For them, it's terrible car looks, as in their opinion that's an ugly replica or copy of the Ferrari Enzo. Uniquely, with its somewhat strange appearance, in fact many parties are curious about it, then invites the car owner in various media, for example it has become a frequent guest on several YouTube channels.
The 1986 Pontiac Fiero was a donor car for a weird-ugliest replica of Ferrari Enzo dubbed as the Fierri. (Picture from: AutoEvolution)
The car received mixed reviews and notoriety by showing off at the exclusive Quail 2019 A Motorsports Gathering in Monterey, winning the Concours d'Lemons Worst in Show award, and was even featured in an episode of Jay Leno's Garage. So actually this car is made only for jokes as seen on the Car Bros's Youtube channel.
This unique Fierri Enzo car creation known to use a fiberglass body kit featured with some kind of a scissor-style doors. (Picture from: Cars&Bids)
As quoted of CarAkoom, it is not known when and who made the car, only mentioned was built a few years ago. Then the car that is known to use a fiberglass body kit plugs on the Fiero chassis, and powered by an 2.8-liter V6 engine of Fiero capable to burst power of 140 ponies and torque of 230 Nm coupled with 4-speed automatic transmission. So don't be fooled by the V12 sticker on the body and the engine cover mockup placed under the glass panel made what you see through the rear window as if a V12 engine.

As quoted of Cars & Bids, it has been owned by the seller since 2015 and has driven only 1,600 km in that time. However, there are many differences in the condition of Fierri when appearing in an episode of Jay Leno's Garage with its condition when offered to auction. Let's see the Jay Leno's Garage video below:
For example, this car failed an emissions test at its last service due to high NOx levels and cannot be registered on public roads in California. In addition, the car's direction indicators and high beams do not work, the rear lights do not turn on when the headlights are on, the trunk is not fixed, the body trim is poorly fitted, the front panel is sagging, and the body is scratched.
This unique Fierri Enzo car creation grown fame for its appearances on the CAR BROS YouTube channel and winning the Concours d'Lemons Worst in Show award. (Picture from: Cars&Bids)
But still, in recent years, some maintenance work on this unusual car has been carried out by the owner. So, for example, new gaskets and exhaust manifold studs were installed, oil and air filters, brake and coolant were replaced, and a catalytic converter was installed.

But one thing is clear that the one who bought this car will have to tinker with this “anti-show car” a lot before getting behind the wheel and, pressing the gas pedal, causing “laughter and tears” of onlookers on the streets of his hometown.
This unique Fierri Enzo car creation is powered by a fake V12 engine, which is an original 2.8-liter V6 engine of Fiero capable to burst power of 140 ponies and torque of 230 Nm. (Picture from: Cars&Bids)
Maybe one day there was a shift in the perception of the car which in the end considered it one of the most beautiful sports cars ever made. But when?😉 What is certain is that the weird Fiero 'Enzo' has now been sold by Cars & Bids back in the 2020 for $5,001. Hey here is another unique car based of Fiero called the Stalker. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CAR BROS | PATREON | CARAKOOM | CARTHROTTLE | AUTOEVOLUTION | CARS&BIDS ]
