RMD Garage's Legacy Chevy Bel Air'56

The RMD Garage, a Californian modification workshop that usually transforms old cars into luxurious motorized-vehicle works of art. And this time they succeeded in turning a 64-year-old Chevrolet Bel Air into beautiful, luxurious rides.

As quoted from Formacar, Monday (25/5/2020), there's a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air owned by Dave Moreau from So Cal Classic Car Storage who has seen plenty of the cars made like new over the years. But this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air was different from others, it feels something special for him because he inherited it from his grandfather, so named the car as Legacy.

After more than half a century of use for daily activity, now this legendary vintage coupe is demanding a complete overhaul of the drivetrain, chassis, and cabin. So then the car owner entrusted these jobs to RMD Garage. And after spending several thousand work hours they managed to get it all done.

Although the car is an old Chevrolet, after rejuvenating, its LS3 V8 engine taken from modern Corvette can produce 450 hp (336 kW) of power, as well as there's applies a Borla doubled-exhausts, and also a four-link coil-over suspension system. While for the brakes were entrusted to the Wilwood six-piston to ensure proper braking at all times and finally its new body received an elegant, fresh white and red wine color coating.

Meanwhile, the interior treatment also gets an equally attractive treatment. Yes, the entire interior uses the soft and smooth genuine leather to cover everything in sight and a sophisticated HVAC system is also installed for the comfort of whoever is in the cabin.
Once that is done, it seems that some collectors may be disappointed to hear that Dave SoCal's Legacy 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air will be used as a pure show car and won't be available for sale now or in the near future. This beautiful car has appeared in one of the largest exhibition events in the world, namely the SEMA 2018. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RMD GARAGE | FORMACAR.COM]

One of the most beautiful Maseratis ever

It might be true if there are automotive enthusiasts who argue that the cars created in the 1950s and 1960s are a high-level achievement from a work of art in the form of motorized vehicles, especially cars. Due to almost all the process of making a car at that time was done manually.
1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Berlinetta by Pininfarina under commissioned by the owner of a Maserati auto dealer in Rome named Guglielmo Dei. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3acPaRa)
As a result, today We could be seen there were plenty of beautiful and exotic car models created of the magical hand touches of automotive designers in the era which not only has beauty but is very sturdy, powerful when driven on a racing track. This then inspires vehicle designers today to design more powerful vehicles in accordance with the demands of the times.
1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Berlinetta by Pininfarina uses a 2.0-liter six-cylinder naturally-aspirated DOHC engine could be spewed power of 170 hp and torque of 194 Nm. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/30I4GkT)
And one of them is the Maserati A6GC/53 which began to be seen by the public in 1954. As quoted of supercars.net, the A6GCS chassis was a derivative of the A6 Sportscar that was powered by a short-stroke, double ignition, inline-6 that was one of the last units designed by the Maserati brothers.

1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Berlinetta by Pininfarina featured several instrument panels on its simple dashboard. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/30I4GkT)
These beautiful car series were originally built to compete in the World Sportscar Championship. The Maserati A6GCS/53 models built-in 1953 to 1955 and were powered by a 170 bhp engine. The initial model was made in a spider version designed by Gioacchino Colombo then refined by Medardo Fantuzzi and Celestino Fiandri. A total of fifty-two cars were made at that time.

Then Pininfarina made four additional Berlinetta models and one spider designed by Aldo Brovarone. The Pininfarina A6GCS Berlinetta models commissioned by the owner of a Maserati auto dealer in Rome named Guglielmo Dei who previously has acquired six A6GCS chassis. And Vignale, another Italian coachbuilder company, made the spider model.
1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Berlinetta by Pininfarina was one of the prettiest Maseratis and its racing pedigree was only trumped by its flowing lines and taught proportions. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2DS9lYs)
The making of the four A6GCS Berlinetta models by Pininfarina was protested by Enzo Ferrari, due to at that time the brand was in a restricting contract with Ferrari, so Maserati could not sell directly the models. And this is considered by Ferrari inapposite the agreement signed in the contract. And this reason why the model is becoming the last Maserati made by Pininfarina for the next five decades.

And 4 copies of the Pininfarina's Maserati A6 GCS uses a 2.0-liter six-cylinder naturally-aspirated DOHC engine could be spewed power of 170 hp at 7,300 rpm and torque of 194 Nm at 5,600 rpm coupled with 4-speed manual transmission gearbox. This allows the Maserati A6 GCS to accelerate up to the top speed of 235 kph.
So after this car was completed and then jumped into the "Mille Miglia" race in 1953, which is known for frequent heavy storms and heavy rain when the race was in progress. Well, it seems in accordance with the initial purpose to build a racing car that can withstand bad weather. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MASERATI | CONCEPTCARZ.COM | SUPERCARS.NET | WIKIPEDIA | NEWATLAS | CARFOLIO]

The record-breaker wasp of Piaggio in the 1950s

As we know that Vespa is a scooter brand made by Piaggio which is very well known to this day. This scooter brand was founded in the 1940s and continues to exist today, so it is not surprising that Vespa has many classic models with distinctive body shapes such as wasps.
1951 Vespa Siluro on display at the Museo della Piaggio in Pontadera, Italy. (PIcture from: https://bit.ly/3fF8EPq)
But apart from having many classic and elegant scooter models, Vespa also has scooters with unique designs that are made for special purposes such as breaking speed records. One of them is the Vespa Siluro which managed to set a prestigious record on February 9, 1951.
The Vespa Siluro once set a prestigious record to cover a distance of 10 km to 11 km known as "The Flying Kilometer" in only 21 seconds. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3gGPRV3)
As the name implies, the Siluro or torpedo, this scooter has a torpedo-like design. At first glance, the shape of this scooter is also almost similar to the Vespa Monthléry, another unique scooter made by Piaggio which is also specially made for racing purposes on the Monthléry circuit, France with the Lambretta scooter made by its rival manufacturer, Innocenti.
Left side view of 1951 Vespa Siluro on display at the Museo della Piaggio in Pontedera, Italy. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3fF8EPq)
The Siluro scooter was developed by a Piaggio manufacturing team led by Dino Mazzoncini and one of its members is the designer of Piaggio's first scooter (Vespa 46) named Corradino D'Ascanio. Uniquely, apart from the team leader, Dino Mazzoncini also played a role as a biker who rode the Siluro.
Cross-section picture of a two-cylinder horizontally opposed the 125cc engine of the Vespa Siluro. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3gGPRV3)
The Siluro scooter has dimensions of 2,380 mm in length, 600 mm in width, and 900 mm in height. The engine used is two cylinders horizontally opposed (where the pistons are opposite each other) with a capacity of 125cc which can generate power up to 17 horsepower at 9,500 rpm.

Thanks to its unique design, Siluro once set a prestigious record known as "The Flying Kilometer". As quoted from vespa.com, that the scooter is able to make achievements when it is able to cover a distance of 10 km to 11 km (on the Rome-Ostia Autostrada in Italy) in only 21 seconds.
We have never seen this beautiful scooter model on Piaggio's Vespa catalogs before. Is this a custom-built model for racing purposes? (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2E27fp6)
Wow, a distance of 10 km to 11 km was covered in just 21 seconds, it was something extraordinary that could happen at that time. How's fast the Siluro scooter? According to the official notes,  the average speed of the Siluro scooter when breaking the record is 171.1 km/h.

Apparently, the competition aroma was very strong between the two Italian scooter manufacturers who were triumphant in the market at that time. Seeing the 'The Flying Kilometer' record then sparking interest of Innocenti, Piaggio's rival scooter manufacturer to do the same by making an almost similar scooter in 1951 and was named the Lambretta Red Bullet. The result is this rival scooter also fastly splashing like a bullet.
The fully-enclosed streamliner Vespa scooter model of 1958 with clever hatches for the rider’s legs(Picture from: http://bit.ly/2CrHool)
The competition between the two Italian scooter manufacturers continues and in 1958, a third Piaggio streamliner with fully-enclosed built like a wingless airplane and was tested on the Autostrada, but there's no time records or info about this attempt, just a few evocative photos.
Finally, factory battles for Land Speed Record supremacy faded out by the 1960s, after a Golden Age of 30 years’ effort on the international stage, that produced some of the most intriguing, no-holds-barred motorcycle designs of all time.

Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of the two-wheeled monster and stay alive with true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops...... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | VESPA | ALLINVESPA | THEVINTAGENT.COM]

The cutest microcars of the 20th centuries

The tiny-little cars aka microcars had booming moments and experienced a surge in demand shortly after World War II ended. At that time, many beautiful to weird-shaped microcars were popping up on the streets.
1953 Gaitán Auto-Tri, an egg-shaped microcar by a Seville-based manufacturer named Construcciones Gaitán, SL looks different from the company's other prototypes due to applying the reversed wheels-layout and has no front-grill. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3kAYZgn)
Despite being a reliable and affordable means of transportation, it also creates a unique view because of its unusual and strange shape. Here are some microcars that appeared in that era and have unique and strange looks.

1. Davis D-2 Divan
This odd three-wheeled and two-door sedan was the brainchild of used-car salesman Glen Gordon "Gary" Davis largely based upon "The Californian", a custom three-wheeled roadster built by future Indianapolis 500 racing car designer Frank Kurtis for Southern Californian millionaire and racer Joel Thorne.
1948 Davis D2 Divan, an odd three-wheeled and two-door sedan was the brainchild of used-car salesman Glen Gordon "Gary" Davis. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3gQuroq)
The microcars were built between 1947 and 1949 by Davis Motorcar Company. This unique microcar uses a 47 hp four-cylinder engine but later changed to a 63 hp four. The manufacture of this microcar began in 1947 with 2 prototypes. Only 13 Divans (including the two prototypes) were ever built, of which 12 have survived. The car featured aircraft-inspired styling details as well as disc brakes, hidden headlights, and built-in jacks.

2. Mochet Type K
This microcar was built by Automobiles Mochet, a French Puteaux-based manufacturer starting in 1947 and sold until 1949. This Type-K car is said to be the company's first car to have metal bodywork (although the doors are wooden) but retained mechanical features of the previous version (Type -H).

This microcar uses a Zurcher 125cc 2-stroke engine coupled to a separate 3-speed gearbox. And it is estimated that at that time these odd-shaped microcars were made of 650 units.

3. Champion CH-2
There're 11 units of these cutie microcars that were ever made in 1949 by Hermann Holbein Fahrzeugbau in Ulm, Germany. Perhaps 2 of these original CH-2 models survive today. These micro-cars are largely using motorcycle parts, such as tires and Triumphs 5 hp engines. The CH-2 was designed by Hermann Holbein, a former development engineer of BMW before WWII and an Albert Maier, an engineer of the gear-maker ZF Company in 1949.

Unfortunately, Holbein was an engineer and not a businessman and soon became overwhelmed with all the details and keep suppliers and partners happy. When the first cars developed transmission problems, he recalled them all for repair.

4. Rolux VB60 Baby
This unique microcar was built from 1949 to 1951 by Societé Rolux, a French's Clermont-Ferrand based manufacturer. At that time the manufacturer made as many as 400 units of this cutie car.

The microcar uses a 125 cubic-centimeter Ydral engine which drove the left rear wheel via a cardan shaft. The small car measured 105 inches in length and was held in place by a leaf spring suspension. The body consisted of a steel-framed folding windshield, roadster body, and pointed rear fenders.

5. Biscúter
1950 Biscúter was designed by Gabriel Voisin and one of the most popular cutie cars in Spain during the 1950s. The name Biscúter (Biscooter) implied that it was about the size of two scooters or also could be said as a scooter with four wheels. Uniquely, the microcar has no doors or windows or even reverse gear, uses a 1 cylinder, 197 cc, two-stroke motor produced 9 horsepower (7 kW), had a crank starter, and drove only the right front wheel.
1950 Biscúter was designed by Gabriel Voisin and one of the most popular cutie cars in Spain during the 1950s. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2PMK4kW)
The microcar manufactured in Barcelona, Spain by Auto Nacional, SA. and the first car never had a formal model name and was called simply the Series 100, but it soon became known as the Zapatilla, or little shoe (clog), after a low-heeled peasant slipper popular at the time.

6. Allard Clipper
This is an English 3-wheeler produced by Allard Motor Company from 1952 to 1954. Microcars are also known as lightweight sports cars, due to the bodywork made of fiberglass and used the rear-mounted Villiers 24B 346 cc (21.1 cu in) single-cylinder two-stroke motorcycle engine drives the rear left wheel via a Burman gearbox and chain.

The car was designed by David Gottlieb and advertised as having an "indestructible" plastic body, made by Hordern-Richmond Ltd; the Clipper was the first car to have a color-impregnated fiberglass body. It seats three adults on a bench seat and two children in optional dickey seats revealed when the rear boot is opened.

7. Gaitán Auto-Tri
Actually not much information related to this microcar. What is known is that this car was produced by a Seville-based motorized-vehicle manufacturer company named Construcciones Gaitán SL. This Spaniard-made microcar has an egg-like shape made of aluminum with a three-wheel layout (two wheels at the front and one behind). This microcar is made in various models and one even functions as an ambulance.
This three-wheeled car was first shown to the public in November 1953 in Seville. But unfortunately, as quoted from autopasion18, this microcar was never commercialized but had a chance to grab its heydays as can you see in a Spanish documentary film of the 1953 above. From this source, it is also stated that this microcar had made a trip to Barcelona in 1955, and that was somekind an introduction attempt of the microcar to the people there. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | IO9 GIZMODO | DIVAN | MOCHET | CHAMPION | ROLUX | BISCOOTER | CLIPPER | GAITAN]

A Cushman unique scooter as a tribute to Chevy's achievement of the 1950s

What makes people respected? Might be the reason are seniority, big names, fame, and so on. This also applies to the automotive industry, where one company pays homage to other companies that are considered to have a long history and/or made a very large contribution to the world's automotive.
1957 Cushman Chevy Tribute is sat on display at the Miami Auto Museum. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3idoFNV)
As we all knew, Chevrolet, one of the famous brands in the automotive world (under the auspices of the American automotive giant company, General Motor) which can be said to have an important role and long history in the development of the world's automotive industry until today. It is countless how many models were born from this American brand.
1957 Cushman Chevy Tribute probably uses the same as the Cushman Road King model which is a 720cc, 2-stroke engine which is coupled to an automatic transmission system. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3idoFNV)
Did you know if in the 1950s Chevrolet ever received a homage in a form of a unique-shaped scooter? Then who's pay homage to the Chevrolet? It was its compatriot company named the Cushman Motor Works. Who's that? Actually, the Lincoln-based company wasn't a new name in the world's automotive especially in America.
1957 Cushman Chevy Tribute is painted in a white-red color with chrome-accents also has a steering wheel with two pedals (throttle and brake). (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3idoFNV)
The company who founded at the beginning of the twentieth-century has many experiences and also considered as one of the world's scooter pioneers through its Cushman Airborne Scooter Model 53. Well, as you know that these US military scooters can be said as one of the references for Corradino D'Ascanio when made his historical scooter designs for Innocenti and Piaggio at the end of 1940s.

Back to the homage scooter for Chevrolet which was made in 1957 (although there are no references specifically mentioning it was made by Cushman Motor Works). Instead, this unique scooter was built in such a way as to resemble a Chevrolet iconic car of the 1950s and was given the name Cushman Chevy Tribute.
1957 Cushman Chevy Tribute's front section featured single-hooded boxy headlight. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3idoFNV)
But unfortunately, not many articles provide references for it. And if you look at the results of searches on the internet with the keyword of 'Cushman Chevy Tribute,' the only thing that is often found is just the pictures without any information about this scooter.

When we see from the appearance, broadly speaking, the shape is very similar to the iconic Chevrolet cars of the 1950s. But unknown based on which Cushman scooter models it was built (due to there's none information about it). In our opinion and based on observations from the pictures of the Cushman model scooters available at the time, it seems that this unique scooter was built from the Cushman Road King scooter models.
1957 Cushman Chevy Tribute's rear side attached the Chevy's typical chromed-tail fins completed with the two rear lights and bumper. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3idoFNV)
Uniquely, the Cushman single-seater scooter is painted in a white-red color with chrome-accents also has a steering wheel with two pedals (throttle and brake). Of the front, it has single-hooded boxy headlight, and while, at the rear, the scooter appeared more strikingly similar to the 1950s Chevy car where you can be seeing the Chevy's typical chromed-tail fins completed with the two rear lights and bumper.

While the engine is estimated to be the same as the Cushman Road King model which is a 720cc, 2-stroke engine which is coupled to an automatic transmission system. Today, you can be owned this unique scooter, due it was enlisted to sell by the Miami Auto Museum at the price of $29,995 (or approx of Rp.438 millions). Are You interested to have it?
This is another similar-themed bike made by Lupo Racing called HD Bel Air portrayed side by side with its inspiration source, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/33rI9uj)
And if the article above is still considered inadequate or inaccurate, or if you have additional information related to this marque, please don't hesitate to let us know via the comments column below this article. Wanna see another motorcycle resembled with Chevy Bel Air by Lupo Racing?

A unique three-wheeler of BMW?

As we all know, there are a lot of three-wheeled vehicles made by a number of automotive companies in the world such as Campagna T-Rex, Polaris Slingshot, and others. Yes, unique vehicles like this usually appear as a combination of a car and a motorcycle.
1997 BMW Modulo Car M89, a bizarre combination of the car and motorcycle will leave you scratching Your head. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2D60AKo)
But among the many similar vehicles, there is one model that was previously not widely known by the public. Yes, recently in Italy found a three-wheeled vehicle which is appeared as a combination of car and motorcycle that are said to be made by BMW, one of the German automotive giant companies.
1997 BMW Modulo Car M89 while on display at an Italian auto dealer and listed up for sale by Autovergiate F.lli Rossi Srl. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2D60AKo)
As quoted from Rideapart.com, the blue-silver painted vehicle is known as the Modulo Car M89, which is described as a unique-shaped three-wheeler vehicle is built in 1997 by the German auto manufacturer and uses a powertrain taken from the BMW K75 (an old motorcycle produced by the company between 1985 and 1995). Unfortunately, there isn't much detailed information about this vehicle.
1997 BMW Modulo Car M89 has simple a steering wheel, gas pedal, brake, and clutch, plus a manual transmission shifter sticking to the right of the steering wheel. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2D60AKo)
Even so, it seems that the unique three-wheeled vehicle is able to present a pleasant sensation while drove it (although not mentioned whether it was a road-legal vehicle). And in June 2020 this unique vehicle was on display at an Italian auto dealer and listed up for sale by Autovergiate F.lli Rossi Srl at a price of € 38,000 or around Rp.612 million.
1997 BMW Modulo Car M89 applies a tandem seating layout like a jet fighter which able to accommodate 2 passengers inside the cockpit. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2D60AKo)
As quoted from Carscoops, this unique three-wheeled vehicle uses a 740 cc three-cylinder engine that can produce around 75 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque which is then channeled through a 5-speed manual transmission system to drive its rear wheel. When compared with ordinary motorbikes, of course, the weight of this vehicle is heavier, so it has a different speed.
1997 BMW Modulo Car M89 uses a 740 cc three-cylinder BMW K75 engine that can produce around 75 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/2D60AKo)
Uniquely, this vehicle applies a tandem seating layout like a jet fighter. Then to control this unique vehicle does not use a handlebar, but a steering wheel, gas pedal, brake, and clutch like a car, plus there is a manual transmission shifter sticking to the right of the steering wheel.

The exterior design looks unique like most other three-wheeled vehicles. The front bumper has a proportion of sports cars with low posture. Besides that, there is also a very thin and glass-clad cockpit that looks harmonious with the shape of the front fascia. While at the rear section mounted only one wheel, and there you will also notice dual exhausts and various air intakes that function to cool the engine. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOVERGIATE.IT | CARSCOOPS | RIDEAPART.COM]

A sophisticated car for a truly sophisticated journey in the future

You might still remember about the GM Firebird Concept Car that we discussed a while ago. These concept cars were made by the American automotive manufacturer up to 4 series of cars, although the official Firebird Concept was made up to 3 series.
1969 Buick Century Cruiser aka GM XP-790 concept is a sophisticated car for a truly sophisticated journey in the future. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3157OGa)
Well, the car that was originally intended as Firebird IV which was given an internal code XP-790 even had a chance to debut in 1964 the New York World's Fair as a non-functional car. The concept car was later repackaged by US automotive giants as Buick Century Cruiser and appeared on several shows in 1969.

This concept car is made to accommodate your dreams when someday in the future, you will drive on sophisticated superhighway roads with vehicles that have automatic navigation features, to travel across the country quickly but safely and comfortably, it drives automatically without having bothered driving and all only relying on your fingertips.

The concept car appeared with a futuristic design look according to the era of jet planes and space exploration that's becoming a trend of the 60s. This experimental vehicle offers various advanced features at the time such as hands-free driving (automatic steering system), semi-reclining, swiveling contoured seats, a pull-out refrigerator, a television, and a pull-out table inside its cabin.

The concept car was able to accommodate 4 passengers with a composition of 2 + 2, with a design that is also fairly unique. The Century Cruiser's body was formed aerodynamically, flat with fin accents on both sides of the back that reflects the golden era of jets and spacecraft at that time.

As for handling matters, when Century Cruiser is driven into the superhighway road, the driver only needs to insert a card in the slot at the entrance, where the programs on Century Cruiser will take over and drive the car to the correct destination, based on information sent from the center controller. The trip can also be monitored through a navigation map, which is projected on the screen like a radar embedded in the front console.
In addition to the automatic steering system, the Century Cruiser prototype can also be operated manually via a pair of joysticks positioned on the armrests for steering and speed regulation. Canopy-shaped entrances can slide forward and upward to allow passengers in and out, and this can be operated at the touch of a button.

In our opinion, the 1969 Buick Century Cruiser concept was some kinda sophisticated car for a truly sophisticated journey that might not have been realized until now. What do you think? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSTYLING.RU | ]

A good news, the 1960s Italian beauty prepares its come back

All automotive enthusiasts in the world have known the beauty of Italian cars. There are countless beautiful car models born from the skilled hands of the country's automotive designers and manufacturers. As from the beginning of the development of the world's automotive industry until now, it can be seen the contribution of the Italian companies were very dominant in bringing up the world's automotive trend

And one of them is Iso, an Italian automotive manufacturer founded in Genoa by Renzo Rivolta in 1939 before moved to Bresso in 1942. Initially, this Italian company mainly built motorcycles and scooters, then in the 1950s, they decided to build a microcar. Today everyone knows about the BMW Isetta. However, at first, Iso produced the car itself, before they released the license. In the 60s and 70s, they also built four 'real' cars, such as Rivolta, Grifo, Fidia, and Lele. However, in 1974, there was one other thing behind it.

If all goes well, a car called Iso will reappear 46 years later. The Italians show the first images of such a beautiful car called the Iso Rivolta GTZ. And if we look at the 'Z' letter of the car's name that stands for Zagato. So all of us agreed if the design is in good hands. Due to Zagato is one of the Italian renowned automotive designer and coachbuilder companies till today. In 2017, Zagato already presented a digital concept based on the classic Iso Rivolta.

Yes, we have seen what the car looks like. The Italian coachbuilder has shared the first sketch of Iso Rivolta GTZ. The sketch also promises a lot of good design to emerge from it, like an old-fashioned Italian beauty, because the design is directly inspired by the Iso Grifo A3/C
If the Italian company wants to remain historically responsible, the upcoming IsoRivolta GTZ must choose to use the American V8 engine(Picture from: https://bit.ly/3fpfcBH)
As we all know that the A3/C was the racing version of the Iso Grifo. This car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Then the person who is trusted to handle the car's technical issues was Giotto Bizzarrini, the man behind the famous Ferrari 250 GTO. Later due to Bizzarrini disagreed with Renzo Rivolta, he quit and built the car under his own brand name.
Zagato will deliver the first IsoRivolta GTZ in October 2020 and built it for more than 4,500 Iso Rivolta Club Members and Owners worldwide. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3fpfcBH)
This special car now has a successor. But until now there are no technical details, but if the Italian company wants to remain historically responsible, they must choose the American V8 engine. Judging by Zagato's portfolios this does indeed seem to be happening. Let's see the classic Iso Grifo A3 of the 1960s and hear its roars.
And all we can do now is wait until October because that's a bit of a time clue from them about when this gorgeous car will be introduced. Now take a seat, relax, and be patient, because it promises to be another fine example of Italian designs. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ZAGATO | CHALLENGES.FR | TECHZLE]
