Recently BMW Motorrad teamed up with one of the famous German motorcycle modificators, Dirk Oehlerking in one modification project over the BMW R18 known as most expensive BMW's motorcruiser into a work of art. As it is known that Dirk Oehlerking is a famous motorcycle modifier from the Kingston Custom modification house.

The Dirk Oehlerking's style of modification is unique and most of the motorbikes he modifies look like works of art instead of motorbikes. This can also be seen in one of his works made on the BMW R18, a premium motorcycle is sold all over the world with a pretty fantastic price tag, starting from the US. $ 17,495 (or approximately Rp. 969 million).

"When I accepted this challenge, I didn't make many modifications because the bike was already very beautiful and perfect," said Dirk Oehlerking. Indeed, he did not made much changes over the BMW R18 motorcycle. Especially in the chassis and body of the motorcycle. Another part that changed was the muffler. In this BMW R18 motorcycle modification project, Dirk Oehlerking uses his signature muffler to keep it in sync with the new big-sized fairing. In terms of design, the BMW R18, entitled 'Spirit of Passion' by Dirk Oehlerking is not too drastic compared to the modifications made by Roland Sands and Bernhard Naumann.
As we all know, that the French-famous motorcycle builder and modificator, Roland Sands notably transformed the bike into a special dragster bike called RSD X BMW R18 Dragster while the Austrian modificator Bernhard Naumann made The Blechmann R 18. Yes, he combines his four imaginary classic car figures with 4 forms of wildlife animals. The four classic cars are 1963 Aston Martin DB5, 1967 Ford F-250, 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and 1977 Fiat 600S, which was later designed in such a way as to become a vehicle inspired by those 4 wildlife animals (hippos, lions, alligators and pandas) by using photography, computer-generated imagery (CGI), and 3D-visualisation technique.

1. 1963 Aston Martin DB5 design inspired by Hippopotamus
Yes, the figure of 1963 Aston Martin DB5 which is given purplish gray color where the design is combined with a typical hippo silhouette. Next is 1967 Ford-250 this is the perfect partner for lions! This heavy pickup truck figure is ready to go to the wild for adventure. This car has a lion feature - a design made like a lion's nose, complete with 'ears' and brownish-yellow paint exactly the color of a lion's feather. The entire display is enhanced with a special 'L1ON' number plate.
3. 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray design inspired by Alligator
And the next one is the figure of 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray combined nicely with a crocodile figure. Müller believes that this car should only be driven by professional crocodiles at very high speeds on a racing circuit. The elongated frontend is made similar to a crocodile muzzle and pointed teeth positioned next to a special 'G4TOR' number plate. The color is made exactly the same as crocodile skin in the wild.

Lastly, the figure of the Fiat 600S from 1977 where the design was combined with a panda figure. Yes, this cute tiny car design inspired by the panda has black and white features including a distinctive nose and ears. Müller imagined that the car owners were out on the way, putting their things stored in bamboo crates. Then given the final touch is the private plate ‘P4ND4’.
The idea of Frédéric Müller combining classic cars with the distinctive shape of wildlife animals is not just an idea. Back on Thursday, August 30, 2018, Lego announced through their social media account that they succeeded in creating a replica of the Bugatti Chiron, a hypercar that costs of US $2.6 million, with a comparison scale of 1:1, like the original.
Not only that, the Lego team also revealed that they also made these Lego Chiron drivable, by using an engine made of Lego Technic elements too. This engine is capable of producing 5.3 horsepower and on the test ride, it able to reach speeds of 19 kilometers per hour with an overall weight of 1.5 tons.

If you build the original car, you need about 20 people, within six months and 1,800 parts, but to build the Lego version you need more.

Welcoming the presence of the latest McLaren with the BP23 code, McLaren made a hypercar sculpture (mini model) which reportedly will be named McLaren Hyper-GT. These sculpture made only 106 units is not traded but given to selected consumers.
This sculpture, named BP23 Speed Form, illustrates the details of the car that has an awesome and luxurious interior but is still sporty. BP23 'Speed Form' is also equipped with a frame design in such a way that makes it the most aerodynamic and fastest McLaren car (more than 243mph).
"BP23" Speed Form "provides preliminary information about the luxury and imagination that is deep into the interior which consists of 3 seats, the position of the driver who is in the middle inspired by the McLaren F1," wrote McLaren in his press release.

Like a rare car, BP23 Speed Form has individual numbers. This 3 (three) dimensional model measures 400mm x 205mm x 80mm with a weight of 3.6 kg. Each part is done using CNC cutting technology but is assembled and completed by hand expertise.
The manufacturing process for each "Speed Form" takes more than 100 hours, with 30 hours of hand-polishing done by experts and checking the models one by one to get the perfect results with the best quality. The selling price of these 'Ferrari 330 P4' can be said to be quite fantastic, which is worth US. $50 thousand or equivalent to Rp.684 million.
