It's terrible, the plastic amount in the oceans will surpass the number of fish in 2050

According to Ellen MacArthur, a British record-breaking sailor who has been exploring the ocean all her life. Now, the woman who received the honorary title 'Dame' of the British Empire was warned that by 2050 the sea will be found more plastic than fish.

It can be prevented origin of industry and community clean up and not dispose of plastics carelessly. According to reports from the foundation he founded (Ellen MacArthur Foundation) issued at the World Economic Forum on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, plastics consumption reached 20 per cent higher than the oil industry in the next 35 years.
Ellen MacArthur has become an advocate for ‘circular economy’. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1JfogYY)
The plastic production increased by 20-fold since 1964. In 2014, production reached 311 million tons. That number will double in the next 20 years and increase fourfold by 2050.

On one side of the plastic demand increases, but only 5 percent of that could be recycled. While 40 percent should end up in landfills or in the ocean. The rest was burned but in the process spent a lot of fossil fuel.

"At least 8 million tons of plastic found in the ocean, it is equal to 1 truck loaded the plastic waste and dumped its cargo into the sea every minute," the report said as quoted by The Guardian on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
By the year 2050, there will be more plastic garbage in the Ocean than fish. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1SdTNvV)
"If no action is taken soon, will increase two trucks per minute in 2030 and four trucks per minute in 2050," the report continued.

"If counted, in the oceans will be 1 ton of plastic for every three tons of fish in 2025, and in 2050 will be more plastic than fish."

A recycled plastic can be decomposed in the ocean, especially in warm water, but the process of liberation of toxic chemicals can be ingested by fish and will end up in the human food chain.

The same report also been released in the last year in which more than 5 million tons of plastic waste floating in the sea. Flakes larger plastic endanger ecosystems terumata turtles and seals that could swallow it.

The researchers also found that small fragments of plastic on the seabed. So far the impact of their whereabouts unknown. The report also said that the plastics manufacturing industry failing to save the ocean's ecosystem.

For the solution of this issue is clearly not easy. Especially for the industry which is under pressure due to high demand. Meanwhile bioplastics are considered more expensive.

MacArthur said that the use of plastic reforms should be immediately carried out. Not only the industry, but the government and the public also contribute. "They produce because there is a demand. So, demand or consumers should think twice as much in the use of plastic and set in law by the government."

In addition, the plastic makers should redesign the plastic so that it can be recycled well and think twice how to make recycled into something easy. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | THE GUARDIAN]

Pinky Lyzer Murciélago – A Dazzling Lamborghini Covered in Crystals

Crystal Fury - There are cars that make you stop and stare, and then there are cars that make you question whether you’re looking at a dream or reality. The latter is exactly what happened back in 2016 at the Tokyo Auto Salon, one of the biggest showcases for automotive creativity in the world. Known for pushing boundaries, the event is often the birthplace of some of the wildest and most unforgettable machines ever built. And among the countless creations that graced the show floor, one stood out not for its roaring V12 or aggressive stance, but for the way it literally sparkled under the lights—a Lamborghini Murciélago wrapped entirely in pink Swarovski crystals.

This wasn’t just a simple wrap or a flashy paint job. The car, a project by Japanese company Lyzerspecialists in LED and HID lighting—was transformed into a rolling piece of art. Every inch of its bodywork was painstakingly covered with thousands of tiny crystals. Most of them shimmered in pink, but silver accents were also carefully placed around details like the headlights and doors to break up the design and add even more brilliance. Imagine a supercar that doesn’t just reflect luxury, but refracts it, scattering glimmers of light in every direction. That’s what Lyzer achieved, and it turned heads then—and still sparks conversation today.

Of course, the transformation went beyond just the exterior. The headlights themselves weren’t the factory-fitted units you’d find on any other Murciélago; they were swapped for Lyzer’s own custom lamps, reinforcing the brand’s signature lighting expertise. Even the wheels deviated from Lamborghini’s stock design, ensuring that no part of this build looked like it rolled out of Sant’Agata untouched. Step inside, and the pink theme continued into the cabin. While the original seats were retained, the upholstery was modified to carry the same vibrant, almost playful tone as the glittering bodywork. Sadly, the dashboard wasn’t revealed in any available photos, but the hints we do have show that the attention to detail was carried throughout. | oZOaPGtjFGU |
What makes this build even more fascinating is the base car itself. The Lamborghini Murciélago, produced between 2001 and 2010, was no ordinary exotic. As the successor to the Diablo, it carried Lamborghini’s heritage into the modern era with a 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of producing between 632 and 661 horsepower, depending on the version. In stock form, it was already an icon—a machine capable of ferocious speed and unforgettable sound. Dressing it up in pink crystals didn’t change its heart, but it did add a layer of personality that made it impossible to ignore.

Looking back now, nearly a decade after it first stunned crowds in Chiba, this “Pinky Lyzer Murciélago” still holds a unique place in the world of automotive modifications. It’s a reminder that car culture isn’t only about performance specs or lap times—it’s also about creativity, self-expression, and sometimes, making a statement so bold it never fades away. Whether you see it as a dazzling piece of art or as an extravagant experiment, one thing is certain: the crystal-covered Murciélago proved that in the world of custom cars, imagination has no limits. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BALTIMORE SUN ]

Another uniqueness, Bike's single saddle in the form of two curved pipe stem. Then, the design of the front fork. The axle is simply connected to the longitudinal pipe that has a length no longer than 50 cm, then connected with an iron rod from above.

Take a look more closely, where is the fuel tank? The modifier positioning it on the front, precisely on the handlebars also functions as windshield. No wonder, if this three-wheeled bike so-called out-of-the-box.
So where lies another unusual thing of this modification work? See the diameter and width of the front wheel is not the same as that behind. Interestingly, the addition of a fourth wheel as a counterweight to the motorcycle, when acceleration and the front wheel raised high. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RK CONCEPT | AUTOEVOLUTION]

Scientists may find the Planet Nine

One of the scientists responsible for the demotion of Pluto and is no longer considered a planet in our solar system, may have found a replacement for the planet.

Two astronomers from the California Institute of Technology, Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin have arranged a series of numbers and say they believe you have discovered a giant planet that is located too far away to be reached by the Sun's gravity.
An artist's rendering shows the distant view from "Planet Nine" back towards the sun, in this handout photo provided by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, California, Jan. 20, 2016. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1NkFUp0)
Scientists say they have not seen the planet but it has been found that there is something they call "an eccentric distant planet" now promotes small group of objects in the solar system.

The scientists know - from the effects of gravity - the planet is very large, at least 10 times larger than the earth, or almost as big as Neptune.

This planet yet to be named but it is said that the planet can be seen through a telescope in the coming years. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | VOA NEWS]
