Pinky Lyzer Murciélago – A Dazzling Lamborghini Covered in Crystals

Crystal Fury - There are cars that make you stop and stare, and then there are cars that make you question whether you’re looking at a dream or reality. The latter is exactly what happened back in 2016 at the Tokyo Auto Salon, one of the biggest showcases for automotive creativity in the world. Known for pushing boundaries, the event is often the birthplace of some of the wildest and most unforgettable machines ever built. And among the countless creations that graced the show floor, one stood out not for its roaring V12 or aggressive stance, but for the way it literally sparkled under the lights—a Lamborghini Murciélago wrapped entirely in pink Swarovski crystals.

This wasn’t just a simple wrap or a flashy paint job. The car, a project by Japanese company Lyzerspecialists in LED and HID lighting—was transformed into a rolling piece of art. Every inch of its bodywork was painstakingly covered with thousands of tiny crystals. Most of them shimmered in pink, but silver accents were also carefully placed around details like the headlights and doors to break up the design and add even more brilliance. Imagine a supercar that doesn’t just reflect luxury, but refracts it, scattering glimmers of light in every direction. That’s what Lyzer achieved, and it turned heads then—and still sparks conversation today.

Of course, the transformation went beyond just the exterior. The headlights themselves weren’t the factory-fitted units you’d find on any other Murciélago; they were swapped for Lyzer’s own custom lamps, reinforcing the brand’s signature lighting expertise. Even the wheels deviated from Lamborghini’s stock design, ensuring that no part of this build looked like it rolled out of Sant’Agata untouched. Step inside, and the pink theme continued into the cabin. While the original seats were retained, the upholstery was modified to carry the same vibrant, almost playful tone as the glittering bodywork. Sadly, the dashboard wasn’t revealed in any available photos, but the hints we do have show that the attention to detail was carried throughout. | oZOaPGtjFGU |
What makes this build even more fascinating is the base car itself. The Lamborghini Murciélago, produced between 2001 and 2010, was no ordinary exotic. As the successor to the Diablo, it carried Lamborghini’s heritage into the modern era with a 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of producing between 632 and 661 horsepower, depending on the version. In stock form, it was already an icon—a machine capable of ferocious speed and unforgettable sound. Dressing it up in pink crystals didn’t change its heart, but it did add a layer of personality that made it impossible to ignore.

Looking back now, nearly a decade after it first stunned crowds in Chiba, this “Pinky Lyzer Murciélago” still holds a unique place in the world of automotive modifications. It’s a reminder that car culture isn’t only about performance specs or lap times—it’s also about creativity, self-expression, and sometimes, making a statement so bold it never fades away. Whether you see it as a dazzling piece of art or as an extravagant experiment, one thing is certain: the crystal-covered Murciélago proved that in the world of custom cars, imagination has no limits. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BALTIMORE SUN ]
