Can-Am will release 2 cool electric motorcycles in the next 2 years

New e-MOTORCYCLES Many automotive companies take quick action in the midst of the current hectic trend of electric-powered vehicle production. Well, it's like not wanting to lose momentum to immediately announce that they have also started preparing the production of all-new electric vehicle.
Here's two next Can-Am Origin (right) and Pulse (left) electric-powered motorcycles which will be ready to launch officially two years from now in 2024. (Picture from: Carmudi)
It's like what Can-Am did recently. This Canadian motorcycle maker is reportedly preparing two new electric motorcycles each; Can-Am Origin and Can-Am Pulse which will be ready to launch officially two years from now in 2024 after for almost fifty years in hibernation status.

As quoted of CarScoops, both Can-Am Origin and Pulse are said to be carry naked bike types which the motorcycle manufacturer claims can provide new riding pleasures.

Let's take a look at the Can-Am Origin now. As you can see this motorcycle concept inspired by a dual purpose vehicle, so it can be used on off-road tracks or on smooth asphalt roads with reliable performance.

"Origin draws inspiration from the legacy of the Track'n Trail, which was a dual-purpose motorcycle from the past produced by Can-Am," the Canadian company said as quoted by CarScoops.

While the Can-Am Pulse carries a design that is more likely to be used for use on asphalt roads in the city. The advantages of this motorcycle are agile, balanced, and agile control when driven on the highway.

Furthermore, if you look at the design, those two motorcycles seem to have a futuristic and cool look. Especially for the Origin, this motorcycle looks like a rally bike with the fairing rising slightly upwards.

On the legs, the Can-Am Origin is seen using large rims wrapped in semi off-road tires with the size of the front rim is made larger than the rim at the back. Its fuel-tank shaped looks small with the use of a single seat.
The Can-Am Pulse carries a design that is more likely to be used for use on asphalt roads in the city. (Picture from: Visordown)
As for the legs of the Can-Am Pulse, they use rims of the same size both on the back and front. While the tires used are also semi slick models. Both motorcycles have a blend of silver, yellow, and gray colors throughout.

“We put in a lot of horsepower and torque, so we can give it a decent speed on the highway. It will be easy for beginners to ride, because it is enough to just turn the gas and brake,“ said Can-Am.
Unfortunately, there's no detailed technical specifications of the two electric motorcycles introduced by Can-Am are not yet clear. The Canadian company only reveal information about its launch which will be carried out in 2024.

Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of the two-wheeled monster and stay alive with true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops...... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CAN-AM | CARSCOOPS | VISORDOWN ]

Finally gorgeous Mistral speedster revealed at The Quail 2022

New SuperCars After being the talk of the virtual world for the past few weeks, the Molsheim-based premium car manufacturer finally launched its newest iconic speedster called the Bugatti Mistral on August 19, 2022, at the Monterey Car Week 2022
Bugatti finally launched its newest iconic speedster called the Bugatti Mistral on August 19, 2022, at the Monterey Car Week 2022. (Picture from: TopGear)
As we all knew, that recently Bugatti merged with the Croatian EV company Rimac Automobili in late 2021 for Bugatti Rimac, so might be this their first jointly developed car project. As quoted of CNN, Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti-Rimac, the company that now owns the Bugatti brand, said the company's future models will be powered by a hybrid drivetrain. Unfortunately, he is not explained as what sort of gas engine is part of the hybrid drivetrain system of Bugatti's future models.
The Bugatti Mistral speedster's design inspired by by the classic 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid. (Picture from: TopGear)
Since the beginning, this speedster has a lot of mysteries such the four horizontally dashed headlights and surrounding lines deviate significantly from the Chiron, while vaguely resembling more of the Divo. And now Bugatti doesn't go into detail either and what the expected top speed of the Mistral might be. The last time the Molsheim-based premium car maker could claimed to have the world's fastest convertible was in 2013 when the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse managed to hit a top speed of 254 miles per hour while speeding on the Volkswagen's test track in Germany.
The Bugatti Mistral speedster's sharp-angled V-shaped windshield and the hump that rises behind each seat are some of the similarities with modern cars. (Picture from: TopGear)
It is likely that Bugatti hopes its Mistral speedster will become the world's fastest convertible. By consideration, that the latest Mistral speedster is powered by the Bugatti's famous 16-cylinder W16 engine. It's the same engine that belongs to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport which the French company claimed back in 2019 to be capable of running up to a top speed of 305 mph. For your info, the current top speed record for convertibles is claimed in 2016 by the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster with a speed of 265.6 miles an hour.
The Bugatti Mistral has a unique X-shaped taillights which also functions to remove air after going through oil coolers. (Picture from: TopGear)
Besides that, the Mistral speedster also has an air intake system consisting of 2 large air scoops behind each of the two car seats, then air intakes on the side of the car for the oil cooler. Air that passes through the oil cooler is vented out through the X-shaped taillights. The air scoops are made of carbon fiber and are designed to support the entire weight of the car to protect passengers in the event of a roll-over crash.

Then related to its design, the Mistral speedster is said to be inspired by the classic 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid. Specifically, such the Roadster Grand Raid model seen by the Bugatti's designers at the Louwman Car Museum in the Netherlands. The sharp-angled V-shaped windshield and the hump that rises behind each seat are some of the similarities with modern cars. Meanwhile at the front, in addition having its own distinctive design with headlights each made of four light bars, the Mistral speedster is still garnished by a horseshoe-shaped central grille that looks deeper and wider than other hard-top models.
Furthermore, Bugatti also said that the speedster will be produced in limited quantities, which is only 99 units with a price tag of €5 millions net, and all of them were already sold before the car was even unveiled to the public on Friday in Carmel, California. The first cars will be delivered to customers in 2024, after rolled out from its traditional home of Molsheim, France. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CNN | HYPERBEAST | TOPGEAR ]

As reported by Carscoops, the Norwegian automaker will not mass-produce the LP1200 Strada. There were only nine units of the car made and sold at a price of €799,000 (approx Rp. 12.4 billion) each. Those price numbers is quite fantastic indeed, but for the buyers besides the car unit, they also get an oppurtunity to try it directly on the track with the mechanics.
The Zyrus LP1200 Strada is is powered by a twin-turbo engine that is estimated to be capable of spitting out 1,200 horsepower in racing mode or 900 horsepower in road mode by pressing only one button. (Picture from: OtoBlitz)
It is further stated by the maker that this supercar is built from the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD which can be more comfortable for everyday driving. But there are some features that the Zyrus team has trimmed such as air conditioning, satellite navigation, and other creature comforts in place.
Meanwhile, the body panels are replaced with carbon fiber chips specially made by the company. Then the seats use leather upholstery which is hand-stitched with a touch of carbon and has the option of a racing car harness, and to complement that, a half roll cage can also be installed.
The Zyrus LP1200 Strada is the second hand-built version of the Huracan LP640-4 and also have replaced or added approximately 600 bespoke components so cut its weight about 78 kg. (Picture from: Carscoops)
Under the hood, there is a twin turbo engine that is estimated to be capable of spitting out 1,200 horsepower in racing mode or 900 horsepower in road mode by pressing only one button. Besides that, Zyrus also adds performance-smelling modifications such as TTX Ohlins suspension, carbon-ceramic discs, to a titanium exhaust.
The first model of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada has been finished and shipped in July, 2022, and hopes to produce two more units in early 2023. (Picture from: BlackXperience)
So overall, Zyrus said that the LP1200 Strada is the second hand-built version of the Huracan LP640-4 and also have replaced or added approximately 600 bespoke components so cut its weight about 78 kg.
Now, it's weighing about 1,287 kg, and the Zyrus LP1200 Strada can generalize to 1,800 kg of downforce at 240 kph. According to the automaker, the first model has been finished and shipped in July, 2022, and hopes to produce two more units in early 2023. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ZYRUS | CARSCOOPS | ]

Moto Sapien, a mind-controlled ultra-futuristic motorcycle

Concept ONLY Have you ever imagined what motorcycles will look like in the next 100 years or so? It is like to be time travel to the future which may be very interesting to discuss. Although most likely we will still rely on physical means of transportation, both for pleasure and necessity. In this regard, it turns out that a Canadian motorcycle designer named Anton Brousseau emerges with his very interesting idea of the future motorcycle which described as having an infinite bond between humans and machines.
The Moto Sapien is a mind-controlled ultra-futuristic motorcycle concept designed by Anton Brousseau and represents a direct relationship between the human and machine. (Picture from: RideApart)
It has similarity philosophy to Luigi Colani motorcycle concept. For your info, Anton Brousseau is an experienced motorcycle designer, having previously worked for four years in Kiska, Austria, where various motorcycle models of KTM and Husqvarna were made. Currently, he also lives in Austria, and continues to pursue his passion and love of design.

This time, he introduces to us something even more far-fetched, something that might not even realize in the near future or even in entire of our lifetime. However, it will be interesting to see what those such briliant designer created, as a famous adage tought us that the past ideas greatly influenced what we have today.
The Moto Sapien bike concept name is a pun on Homo Sapiens, and has meaning as a seamless union between human and machine. (Picture from: RideApart)
Apart from design, Anton Brousseau is also interested in anatomy, biomechanics and technology, that's why then he turned his futuristic motorcycle into a tangible idea called the Moto Sapien concept. And those bike concept name is a pun on Homo Sapiens (ancient humans who have similarities with modern ones), and has meaning as a seamless union between human and machine.

The basic concept consists of several different elements. In essence, this motorcycle is able to represent a direct relationship between the human brain and the motorcycle's on-board computer which of course has been equipped with artificial intelligence.

Those kinds of seamless union between man and machine must be combined with the moving parts of a motorcycle, giving the rider the impression that man and machine are one. As quoted of  RideApart's recent article, Anton Brousseau revealed how he developed such a daring motorcycle concept.

“Detours when processing information slow us down. Everything happens indirectly, through the eyes and ears, as well as human motor skills,” said Anton.
The Moto Sapien bike concept name is a pun on Homo Sapiens, and has meaning as a seamless union between human and machine. (Picture from: RideApart)
"Just imagine we can ride a motorcycle directly, in a matter of milliseconds, with our minds," he added.

"Furthermore, imagine if we could feel with tires as smooth as we can with the sense of touch on our fingers," said Anton.

To be honest, in our opinion, it still seems a bit far-fetched. However, in fact technological advances in neural-to-machine interfaces have begun in other domains. The such kinds of technology has been widely used in the medical field, for prostheses or voice control, for example. In addition, nanotechnology and reinforcement carbon have long been used in the development of artificial muscles, limbs, and other body components.
It must be admitted that to realize such this motorcycle concept is difficult and still far away to go, though by using most advanced of current technologies. Maybe it's more realistic to realize Anton Brousseau's futuristic hydrogen-powered motorcycle named Hydra.

A wild dream of British automaker about an X20-engined supercar

DREAM Car We are always happy to share information regarding concept vehicles that are planned to be launched in the future. Regardless of whether the concept vehicle will succeed in showing its real form and being presented to the automotive world audience or not. Why is that? Because in our opinion, by conveying a concept vehicle design, it has at least given us what a little persfective about future vehicles being made by designers.
The Trident Iceni Magna sportscar was one car model produced by BDI's subsidiary, Trident Sports Car Ltd. back in the 2014. (Picture from: Supercars.net)
As quoted of Road&Track, in early 2021, Bevan Davidson International (BDI), a British automotive engineering company had stired up the world's automotive while was preparing a controversial engine design that had never existed for car before, called the Villiers X20, and if completed later will be used in the next supercar made by BDI's subsdiary, Connaught Motor Company.
The Connaught Type D GT Syracuse sportscar was one car model produced by BDI's subsidiary, Connaught Motor Company back in the 2004. (Picture from: ConnaughtMotorCompany)
The company is headed by Phil Bevan, a longtime motorhead who has been designing and making cars since 1969, including the almost-there vehicles from Trident. BDI also owns Connaught, Villiers and many other marques and also produced a 2.0litre V10 engine of Tim Bishop for their proposed Type-D GT Syracuse sports car.
The next Connaught Motor Company supercar is projected to be used the new developed Villiers X20 engine. (Picture from: ConnaughtMotorCompany)
Then Connaught have tentative plans to create a new supercar powered by a X20 4.0litre engine coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission system. As revealed by the company through its official website which states that its X20 engine configuration can simply be described as two V10 motors mated horizontally.
The next Connaught Motor Company supercar is projected to be used the new developed Villiers X20 engine. (Picture from: ConnaughtMotorCompany)
Each engine will be connected via a different gear at each end with an incorporated torque vibration damper. Power is sent through the central output shaft to the clutch and gearbox. Thus the engine will have a total of twenty exhausts, ten each with five on the top and five on the bottom per side. The engine can spin up to 10,000 rpm, which of course will also produce extraordinary sound.

The engine will be wide but will be very low and compact vertically, which is said to help reduce the center of gravity once installed in the vehicle. The company also said it had a mocked-up engine for evaluation even though it wasn't running yet. Its intention was to develop the concept engine into a working prototype eventually adapting it to run a turbocharged injection system to maximize power levels.
Here's a mockup power unit and transaxle of Villiers X20 engine configuration developed by Bevan Davidson International . (Picture from: VilliersEngineering)
Then how much power will produce? These two 2.0-liter engines mated together make for a 4.0-liter displacement, and 40 valves in total, are said to be able to churn out 400 horses without forced induction. And according to BDI, then this engine is perfectly matched to a Lamborghini Gallardo six-speed manual transmission.
These two 2.0-liter engines mated together make for a 4.0-liter displacement, and 40 valves in total, and are said to be able to churn out 400 horses without forced induction. (Picture from: VilliersEngineering)
No details have been released yet related this X20 engine, however the company is now planning to launch several modular versions of the 20-cylinder engine, as well as the Connaught's supercar engine, under the Villiers brand. Furthermore the Bevan Davidson International also said that there is a V3, V5, V6, V8, V12 derivatives of the engine, in total 18 projects being worked by then.
So far, the project isn't finished yet, and one could argue that a 20 cylinder engine in itself is nothing new because versions are used in locomotives (the diesel variety), large trucks as well as in boats and such, but for passenger cars are still more far-fetched theory. One thing that we really hope for from this project if it is successfully realized later is to be able to hear its roar while turned it on. Let's wait and see. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | TRIDENTSPORTSCAR | CONNAUGHTMOTORCOMPANY | VILLIERSEMGINEERING | ROAD&TRACK | THEDRIVE | HOTCARS | ID.MOTOR1 ]

Here's a modern interpretation of the BMW Z8 if built in coupe version

Special ONES One model made by BMW which has a relatively short circulation in the automotive world is the BMW Z8 which was launched by those German manufacturer in the early year of 2000s. Due to its fairly short time  existencies, so that some of its devotees do not have time to enjoy its unique physical form.

Unfortunately, the automaker doesn't reveal what the Oletha is based on. Although, we can expect the modified car to be based on the BMW E86 Z4. Although there’s no mention of the Z8, the Oletha’s carbon fibre composite body quite clearly takes inspiration from the short-lived Chris Bangle-designed roadster, itself an homage to the old 507. In addition, according to car maker, the  SVE Oletha Coupe weighing about 3,090 lbs (1,401 kg).

Judging from its appearance, it can be seen from the shape of the rear window and the greenhouse that it looks identical, and the location of the fuel filler cap is the same, right behind the passenger door. However, Oletha removed almost every reference to the BMW E86 Z4 with the stunning bodywork that turned this coupe model into a unique car.

Furthermore, regarding the interior, the automaker said that this car will have a driver-focused cockpit and be decorated with the best materials. Regarding the seats, customers can choose between an adjustable eight-way touring seat or a carbon fiber composite sport seat.
SVE will make no more than 100 units, beside that customers can also request a bespoke build, which includes a choice of materials, colors and textures. The starting price for the car is $450,000, although presumably, the later inline-six version will be a bit less.
