Bristol Fighter is claimed to have fierce performance but powerless in the market

Rare ONES For those of you whose claimed yourself as the true automotive enthusiasts should be familiar with the Bristol Cars, one of the British car manufacturers that has existed since the post-war period, namely 1945 and known for its handmade luxury cars. As qouted of Wikipedia, one of the most phenomenal ever produced by the company in the form of a British-style supercar with the gull-wing-style doors and claimed has fairly ferocious performance called the Bristol Fighter. The car was designed by the former Brabham Formula One team's engineer Max Boxstrom.
Bristol Fighter is a British supercar produced in between 2004 to 2011 under 3 variants, Bristol Fighter, Fighter S and Fighter T in which each of which is distinguished by the power produced by the V10 engine it carries. (Picture from: Vroom)
Actually, the car specifically made by hand in England under 3 different variants, and adopting the same 8.0-liter V10 engine used in the American's Dodge Viper. As the first variant, the Bristol Fighter uses an upgraded engine is capable produce around 530 hp of power. While the second one, the Bristol Fighter S is ppowered by the same engine but producing slightly more power, which is around 628 hp.

Indeed, the Bristol Fighter is not as "aggressive" as the American sports car, which tends to be more savage in terms of the appearance. As if teh British company wanted to show that speed is a high guarantee attached on its Fighter and Fighter S variants, so by using such engine the British supercar claimed to be through a top speed of 210 mph with acceleration from rest to 60 mph in just 4 seconds.
The impression of luxury on the exterior and interior of the Bristol Fighter variants is known as the perfect combination of British "intelligence" and American "strength" that puts the car at the list of the world's fastest cars. (Picture from: Vroom)
The elegance and aesthetic perfection of the Bristol Fighter is an astonishing combination along with the quality of performance, the "British" typical of beauty and strenght, which has also put the Fighter on a par with and even slightly superior to other sports car in the world at the time.
For the engine, the Bristol Fighter and Fighter S variants use an upgraded 8.0 liter V10 engine, while the Bristol Fighter T is also coupled with the intercooler and twin turbocharger devices. (Picture from: Vroom)
The Bristol Cars made its supercar by using the carbon fiber and aluminum materials, and in 2006 the third variant called the Bristol Fighter T was born which is said to have a slightly higher speed number than iconic cars known as the lord of speed, the Bugatti Veyron

The extreme speed produced is quite helped to the light weight of 3,515 lbs which theoretically makes it easier to distribute the peak power of the V10 engine is supported by the intercooler and twin turbocharger devices of 1,012 bhp at 5,600 rpm, so that capable to give the acceleration from rest to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and claimed to be through a top speed of 225 mph.

Here's the all-electric Maserati's radical-looks hypercar inspired by its racing legacy

Concept ONLY Reportedly, the Italian trident-logoed sports car manufacturer, Maserati, after successfully launching its newest supercar, the Maserati MC20 in 2020, will soon enter the world of electric-powered vehicles. And then the manufacturer said that it had started testing an electric drive system that would complement future the Maserati models.
Maserati Neptune Concept, a single-seat electric-powered supercar concept is designed by Salvatore Andrea Piccirillo and inspired by the Maserati 250F lagendary race car of the 1950s. (Picture from: HotCars)
And it is also mentioned that in 2022 the Maserati MC20 will also be powered by three electric motors which are claimed to be able to spew more power. It is also mentioned that there are already another several experimental vehicles that have used the electric motors that applied the latest Maserati's technology which was fully developed in their own laboratory in Modena, Italy. They will come soon.
The legendary Maserati 250F of the 1950s known as the inspiration source for the Maserati Neptune Concept. (Picture from: Wikipedia)
But what if the Modena-based manufacturer dared to present a radical form of an electric-powered supercar. Maybe through the following concept, a famous car and yacht designer named Salvatore Andrea Piccirillo intended to be the answer of that question. Well, in a brilliant way, he poured out a radical design idea of a single-seat electric-powered supercar concept called the Maserati Neptune Concept. Its name is coincidentally a translation for 'Nettuno,' the engine name installed on Maserati MC20 supercar.
The Maserati Neptune Concept has plenty of void space in the middle, seem uses a Formula E racecar platform featuring super-sized wheels and arching lines that connect them, this pixel exercise easily stimulates the mind. (Picture from: Techeblog)
Conceptually, the mentioned supercar is not meant to be a rival to the upcoming electric-powered MC20 supercar variant, but rather solely an envisioned with all-electric powered single-seat supercar is inspired by the legendary Maserati 250F race car. As stated by the designer of Maserati Neptune Concept, that the vision is a homage to the legendary Maserati 250F, that has been driven by legends like Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio and Maria Teresa de Filippis (as the first Formula-1 woman driver).
The Maserati Neptune Concept is powered by 3 electric motors, the main one is on the front of the car while the other two are attached on each its rear wheels. (Picture from: Techeblog)
"Maserati Neptune wants to take back the original 250F layout, but with a different shape and proportions. A particular attention to the Maserati's classic race car wore the racing livery number three, that is an important element in the history of Maserati is echoed in some details. There is 3 electric motors, the main one is on the front of the car while the other two are attached on each its rear wheels," Andrea Piccirillo said further.
While the Maserati Neptune Concept's batteries are hidden behind the main engine and inside the car monocoque. (Picture from: Worldlesstech)
But according to Autoevolution, the supercar appears with its unusual construction, which features plenty of void space in the middle, this virtual creation looks more like a sculpture than anything else. Nevertheless, the layout owes to the fact that, under the top side of the electric-powered vehicle, we've found a Formula E racecar platform featuring super-sized wheels and arching lines that connect them, this pixel exercise easily stimulates the mind. While the batteries are hidden behind the main engine and inside the car monocoque.
The engineering is thought to bring Formula E technology into a Granturismo concept, that’s a remarkable element in the history of Maserati. For this reason, Maserati Neptune Concept has an unique driver position, that is like a Formula 1 seat.

This can be translated as the implementation of the brand's racing DNA taken of the legendary Maserati 250F when it raced on the Formula-1 racetrack in the 1950s, so one can easily imagine the emotions of legendary drivers such Juan Manuel Fangio or Stirling Moss when riding this creation. Too bad, it's just an imaginary car.😉 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | YANKO DESIGN | WORLDLESSTECH | AUTOEVOLUTION | TECHEBLOG | HOTCARS ]

Another Switzerland hypercar of Morand Cars

Let's WAIT We are still in Switzerland, after some time ago we discussed about the Picasso PS-01, a supercar made by a Swiss company called Picasso Automotive. Soon there's another Swiss company, Morand Cars followed the step by launching its first hypercar in 2023 which is claimed to be able to reach a maximum speed of up to 400 kph.
Morand Hypercar-Swiss Made built by Morrand Cars and will launching in 2023 which is claimed to be able to reach a maximum speed of up to 400 kph. (Picture from: Autocar)
And the Morand Cars itself is an automotive company founded by Benoit Morand who is known as the former manager of the racing team at the Le Mans Championship along with Eric Boullier who also has a background in developing super fast cars in F1, ever involved in the Lotus F1 team as Team Manager and has also served as Race Director in the McLaren F1 team.

As quoted of Autocar, the Morand Hypercar-Swiss Made is built into 2 models, namely a hybrid and all-electric model by using a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, while the body structure is made of a lightweight and sturdy composite material called Amplitex. So that some parts such as the hood, doors, wings, seats, and interior spaces are made of Amplitex Bcomp. Although the material is light, Amplitex is said to have a heavier mass than carbon fiber but has passed through a valid crash test with satisfactory results.

Meanwhile, for the drivetrain, as for the hybrid model will rely on a bespoke, 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine capable of producing a maximum power of up to 690 hp and a maximum torque of 542 Nm. To support the car's hybrid system also installed three electric motors that work to drive the wheels and then coupled with the Xtrac's 7-speed manual-automatic transmission system. The car maker also stated that the hybrid model could be driven a distance of 50 km by using is electric motors alone.
Although the material is light, Amplitex is said to have a heavier mass than carbon fiber but has passed through a valid crash test with satisfactory results. (Picture from: Autocar)
As for the all-electric model will be powered by four permanent magnet motors is mounted on all-four wheels, and is said to be capable of producing a maximum power of up to 1,950 hp to drive its four wheels. The power comes from a 400 kg weighted battery with a capacity of 70 kWh and generates power of 1,400 kW.
Morand Hypercar-Swiss Made prototype will be launched this year, in which the hybrid model will be introduced first, and the all-electric model will follow later in 2022. (Picture from: Autocar)
In addition, Morand Cars is also focusing on fast battery charging technology to embed on the all-electric model. The company targets all of its electric-powered hypercars to be able to fully charge the battery in 12 minutes by using a 350 kW charger or seven minutes faster if using a 560 kW charger.

While on the hybrid model, Morand Cars will use a new type of storage device to support its 300 kW battery system with a 4.5 kWh supercapacitor which is intended to maintain the car weight under 1,250 kg even if it carries a battery and engine.
The plan, the Morand Cars hypercar prototype will be launched this year, in which the hybrid model will be introduced first, and the all-electric model will follow later in 2022. However, so far there is no more detailed information about the hypercar which is only produced in limited numbers (ie only 73 units worldwide), but the Swiss company has priced its hypercar ranging of €1.7M or around Rp.29 billions. In our opinion that's a quite fair price for such a limited-production hypercar. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MORAND-CARS | AUTOCAR ]

The latest supercar is said to have a fairly light weight of only 1,984 lbs (approx 900 kilos), thanks to the use of body panels made of the large-sized carbon fiber materials (measuring of 10.5 ft/3.2 m) and is said to be the largest ever used for the car construction.
The Picasso PS-01 supercar is designed by Roberto Curto and all the bodywork construction done from scratch and entirely done by a new company called Ticino. (Picture from: Supercars)
Another special features pined is the rear subframe which is inspired by the LMP2 endurance race car and is entirely made of carbon fiber as well. Besides made of the material mentioned above, the car body also constructed of the composite materials, and all the bodywork construction developed from scratch and entirely done by a new company called Ticino.
The first unit of Picasso PS-01 supercar is under developing in Lugano, Switzerland, with its first on-track trials to be carried out in the near future. (Picture from: OtoBlitz)
The Picasso PS-01 bodywork was designed by Roberto Curto with the engine placement in the middle and it looks like the Picasso supercar will rely on a twin-turbo V6 drivetrain which is said to be capable of spewing power of 600 hp, and was adopted from the best Italian made engine (the brand has not been mentioned yet).
The development of the Picasso PS-01 supercar also involved a number of well-known partners and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2021. (Picture from: Supercars)
As we could be seen on the teaser of the supercar produced by the Swiss automaker, it has the compact coupe shape that flaunts a prominent rear archs in beetwen flowing lines, and makes it look very aerodynamic. It seems Picasso Automotive want to describe it as the supercar shaped by the wind flows. Other notable features include a large rear wing and air vents on the hood also meant to be an effective cooling system for its mid-engine.

The legendary Callaway 'Aerobody' Sledgehammer

SuperBEAST As the world's fast car fans, we will be very enthusiastic when discussing about the fastest car in the world. Well until now, there're many fast cars ever had been recorded as 'The fastest car in the world.' And we all know that the title is now carried by an American-made hypercar named the SSC Tuatarra which was able to record a top speed of 533 kph at the 7-miles length road in Nevada back in October 2020.
The Callaway Sledgehammer was built by Reeves Callaway in his Connecticut-based workshop in 1988 as a testbed for reliable and dependable power with a turbocharged V8 engine. (Picture from: Supercars)
Although the SSC Tuatarra currently holds that title, but it is not the first American hypercar to surpass the fantastic 250 mph benchmark, there're several other American cars such as the Hennessey Venom F5 and Venom GT. And then back to the end of 1980s, have you heard of another American car called the Callaway Sledgehammer which once held the title as the fastest in 1988 with a top speed notch that surpassed those 250 mph benchmark?
The Callaway Sledgehammer is fitted with a low-drag C4 shell known simply as the AeroBody of Paul Deutschman. (Picture from: BringaTrailer)
The car was built by Reeves Callaway in his Connecticut-based workshop in 1988 as a testbed for reliable and dependable power with a turbocharged V8. In addition, he also wanted to set new performance benchmarks, then commissioned by a Canadian named Paul Deutschman to build with a low-drag C4 shell known simply as the AeroBody.
The Callaway Sledgehammer still maintains the luxury in its cabin including power windows and locks, audio system, electronic air conditioning, and power sports seats. (Picture from: BringaTrailer)
The car based of the new 1988 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 powered by an upgraded V8 turbocharging engine using a NASCAR specification block with Mahle pistons and forged connecting rods. Besides embedding racing devices on the drivetrain, it turns out that the Sledgehammer is also installed with a roll cage like a racing car that functions as a cabin protector.

Then at the top end is installed Brodix aluminum heads fed by twin Turbonetics T04B turbochargers, so that with all the racing equipment it is able to make the Callaway Sledgehammer run with an optimal power boost of 898 hp and 772 lb-ft of torque.
The Callaway Sledgehammer is powered by an upgraded V8 turbocharging engine using a NASCAR specification block with Mahle pistons and coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox to ensure a high top speed. (Picture from: Supercars)
Although it has the ability to run like a racing car, the Callaway's sportscar still maintains the luxury in its cabin including power windows and locks, audio system, electronic air conditioning, and power sports seats as supporting factors for driving comfort.
The Callaway Sledgehammer had set the fastest speed of 254.76 mph (409.99 kph) while tested in October 1988 at the Transportation Research Center (TRC) proving ground in Ohio with John Lingenfelter behind the wheel. (Picture from: BringaTrailer)
When it tested in October 1988 at the Transportation Research Center (TRC) proving ground in Ohio with John Lingenfelter behind the wheel, this car was able to record a record of 254.76 mph (409.99 kph) and had made it the fastest street-legal car for some time before the record was surpassed by the Bugatti Veyron. After that, Deutschman continued to work for Callaway for years to come, so the Sledgehammer AeroBody was produced in limited numbers (though it is not known how many were ever made).
But some time ago as quoted of the Road and Track, this is the only Sledgehammer in existence and is currently listed for sale at Bring a Trailer which has currently recorded the highest bid of $500,000 (23 May 2021). We wouldn't be surprised to see that, as devoted Corvette collectors would be willing to pay big bucks to own it. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | SUPERCARS | TWITTER | ROADANDTRACK | TOPGEAR | BRINGATRAILER ]

Estrema Fulminea, an Italian monstrous-powered elegant hypercar will be launched in the 2023

SuperBEAST Currently, many know that electric-powered cars are capable of spewing out higher power than conventional petrol-engined cars. The electric cars are known for their constant power since the lower rate. However, until now, not many electric-powered cars have appeared as hypercars. And what happens if there is a hyper electric car that is claimed to produce more than two thousand horsepower? Here's the answer.
Estrema Fulminea is an electric-powered hypercar featutued with a low-profiled hypercar-style design. (Picture from: Automobili Estrema)
Well, recently an Italian automotive company named Automobili Estrema reported that they will soon launch an electric-powered hypercar called the Estrema Fulminea, which comes in azzuro blue colored and with a low-profiled hypercar-style design. The car was built to have aerodynamics and with a tapered design line resembled to the Ferrari's car breeds, while the taillights are made thinner than the headlights to emphasize the sporty impression of the Fulminea.
Estrema Fulminea is powered by the Avesta Battery Energy Engineering (ABEE) "hybrid" Lithium-ion batteries that combines an ultracapacitor cell battery and a solid-state battery. (Picture from: Tempo)
It's not only the design that makes this car intriguing, but also from its innards. The Fulminea uses the Avesta Battery Energy Engineering (ABEE) "hybrid" Lithium-ion batteries that combines an ultracapacitor cell battery and a solid-state battery. The two kind of batteries work together and are claimed to have a total capacity of 100 kWh with an energy density of 500 Wh/kg.
