This woman turned her Tesla sedan into a pickup model

Elon Musk is planning to bring pickup as an additional model into the Tesla line of car productions. But a woman who loves electric cars can't wait, so she turned her Tesla Model 3 into a pickup model.

As quoted from The Verge, there's a creative woman named Simone Giertz who also known as a YouTuber was tired of waiting for Elon Musk to leak his latest Tesla pickup model, so she decided to make it by herself.

Then she invited her friends to give birth to her Tesla dream pickup. And then the car result dubbed Truckla. And she said, "It took me a year to design up to the finished pickup."

From the second row of of Tesla Model 3 up to the rear section was cut then made such a way into a pickup shaped. Imagine, Giertz was willing to build these Truckla because of her love to electric cars.

"My goal is to never own a gas car," Giertz said. "I'm a part of a new generation of drivers that will only drive electric. I feel like I should pad this a little bit, but I'm not going to. Fuck oil companies. Seriously, fuck them."

Not much change was revealed, Giertz said for roof racks and roofs using parts from the Ford and Chevy older trucks. But to run this project is not without obstacles. After removing the back seat and trunk of its many parts, the modified Model 3 refused to start.
Luckily, Giertz was accompanied by a team of mechanics and DIY car modifiers to tackle the project such as Marcos Ramirez, a Bay Area maker, mechanic and artist; Boston-based Richard Benoit, whose YouTube channel Rich Rebuilds is largely dedicated to the modification of pre-owned Tesla models; and German designer and YouTuber Laura Kampf, and obviously the problem was resolved soon.

Giertz said the project was not meant to mock Elon Musk that she was one step ahead. "This process has destructive steps in the beginning but the ultimate goal is constructive. Here it is the first Lambo's car to rival Ferrari

The Lamborghini and Ferrari are certainly familiar brands in the world's automotive industry. Both are from the same country, namely Italy and the products produced are also similar, ie fancy speeding cars.

Initially there was only Ferrari which was an Italian automotive company founded by Enzo Anselmo Ferrari in 1929. Until in the year of 1964, when Ferruccio Lamborghini managed to launch his first car made known as Lamborghini 350 GT series. And since that day known as the beginning of rivalry between Lamborghini and Ferrari.

As we all know, at beginning Ferruccio Lamborghini himself was a successful entrepreneur through his tractor maker company. In the time, he was getting richer and able to buy various types of classy speeding cars and one of them was the Ferrari 250 GTE which was used for fun only.

Once upon the time, Ferruccio brought his Ferrari 250 GTE back to its maker, Ferrari. He came with a complaint, that the car purchased should get a better transmission system.

But what he got precisely a kind of challenge because Enzo Ferrari said that he was just a tractor maker and didn't know anything about race cars. After that, Ferruccio Lamborghini took a decision to come into play in the race car market to rival those prancing horse logoed auto company.

And many consider it only as a form of channeling anger after feeling offended by Enzo Ferrari words to him. And sure enough, then he founded a car manufacturing company that was named Automobili Lamborghini based in Sant'Agata Bolognese in 1963.

To answer the Ferrari's challenge and at the same time realize his ambition, and then he asked Giotto Bizzarrini (the person who designed most of the Ferrari engines at the time) to join his company. He also invited Giampaolo Dallara and Giampaolo Stanzani, two technicians who were considered has promising talents and test driver Bob Wallace.

Shortly after, in May 1963 Lamborghini successfully launched the its first concept car prototype and given a name the Lamborghini 350 GTV. The prototype used a Bizzarini's 3,500 cc V12 engine that produces 320 hp. And those all-aluminum alloy V12 engine mated to a 5-speed manual ZF transmission system. And the 350 GTV completed to build and debut on October 1963 in the Turin Auto Show.

Before that Dallara and Stanzani quickly realized that the 350 GTV was not properly designed for mass production. Then both working in parallel on two projects that would result in the production 350 GT. They made many revision on Bizzarini's engine and chassis for street use. And in March 1964, after 5 months after the debut of the GTV in Turin, the "redesigned GTV" now called Lamborghini 350 GT was debuted at the Geneva Auto Show.

It was greeted with sufficient enthusiasm so that Ferruccio decided to proceed with production in May 1964. This first Lambo's 2-door coupé body manufactured by Milan's Carrozzeria Touring who used their patented 'Superleggera' method of construction to fix aluminium alloy panels directly to a tubular structure. This Lamborghini 350 GT car has a wheelbase measuring 2,550 mm with front and rear track axles measuring of 1,380 mm, 4,640 mm length, width 1,730 mm and 1,220 mm of high.
This car has many features such as an aluminum body design and some of the body panel even has steel, and already has applied independent four-wheel suspensions, differential salisbury as well as a vacuum servo that is assisted by a round disc brake girling. This car has an acceleration from 0 to 100 kph (60 mph) can be done in 6.8 seconds and even its maximum speed can reach 254 kph (158 mph).

At that time these Italian raging bull logoed auto company was only made those 350 GT as many as 120 units before replacing it with the Lamborghini 400 GT in 1966. Bolwell planned to return with its newest sports car

A small Australian sports car company named Bolwell Car Company or Bolwell plans to return to the world's sports car market. Most of us may not be familiar with this company name.

The company was founded by Graeme Bolwell and Ross McConnell in 1962. Initially the company sold fiberglass-bodied sports car in kit car form before starting the production of their first car, called Bolwell Mk VIII Nagari in 1970. 

The first car was believed to have been built up to approximately 100 coupes and 18 convertibles before production was ceased in 1974. Originally, the car is powered by a Ford's V8 engine so it is not surprising that the car is fast enough in its era.

Then in 2008, the Victoria-based auto company again built and launched a sports car named Bolwell Mk X Nagari or Nagari 300. This car is powered by a Toyota's 3.5-liter capacity V6 engine and has a fairly light weight of only 920 kg. But that model is not really successful in the world's automotive market.

After a long time of inaudible, and made Bolwell's name seemed to die until some time ago this car manufacturer reappeared with the desire to launch a new sports car. This new car is touted as the third generation Nagari model.

Citing information from Bolwell Director Campbell Bolwell, Car Sales reports that this vehicle has been under development for more than 3 years and has nothing to do with the previous model Nagari 300 even though it is given a similar name, namely Bolwell Nagari 500.

It is planned that the car will appear for the first time at 2019 Motorclassica, a classic car show in Melbourne in next October. The reveal is to mark this year's 50th anniversary of the original Mk VIII Nagari. Furthermore the Nagari 500 was said to be a new design complete with a composite tub combining carbon fiber and Kevlar. This will be crucial to keeping weight down—likely a dry figure—to less than 2,200 lbs.

The mechanical heart is expected to carry a Chevrolet's LS3 naturally aspirated 6.2l engine mounted in the middle. Then tuned up to produce power up to 500 hp. This engine will be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission system that drives the rear wheels.

Other performance features are said to include adaptive dampers, Brembo brake packages with carbon-ceramic rotors, and Recaro seats. Besides that, Bolwell will also equip this new car with a number of comfort features such as there will be an 8.0-inch infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, start button, keyless entry and many others.

Like its predecessor, Bolwell Nagari 500 will have limited production, with the first customer examples due in 2020. A unique-shaped Ferrari classic car called an 'Egg'

Maybe all this time you know the Ferraris as a sportscar with a sensational and sexy appearance, so that you might not recognize the figure of this classic Ferrari car. Indeed, this Ferrari sports car is one-of-a-kind in the world, and is called Ferrari Uovo, or Ferrari 166MM/212 Export ‘Uovo' for its full name.

Yes, indeed Ferrari Uovo has a unique looks and styling, or can be said to be eccentric. This car is a one-off project from an Italian coachbuilder named Carrozzeria Fontana, and based of a Ferrari 166MM classic car platform, after it crashed in its first attempt its original buyers, the Marzotto brothers, decoded to rebuild it in this form. And the result is a unique car shaped like an egg, or 'Uovo' in Italian.

And sculptor Franco Reggiani who was the mastermind behind its special bodywork, and creating a shape he likened to that of a plane without wings. The good-looker raced for the first time in 1951 and powered by a 1.56-liter gasoline engine that produces up to 186 horsepower (138 kilowatts) of power and had a miliage of more than 341 miles (550 kilometers).

Armed with the bodywork and aerodynamic drivetrain made the Uovo very competitive and took part in the Mille Miglia and Giro di Sicilia in 1951, where the car had the chance to lead the race, before it being damaged and finally unable to continue the race.

If at that time Uovo did not experience severe damage, of course, most likely this car will be the winner in the two prestigious racing events, and maybe the results will be different. So maybe Ferrari will build more of these cars in the future. Even so, this classic Ferrari is still an historic iconic car, and makes it a special model for Ferrari collectors. 
And in August 2017, this car has been auctioned by RM. Sotheby's at an auction event at Moterey, California. Initially this car expected to sell at a price of US. $ 7 million, but in fact this car finally sold at a price of US. $4.5 million at the time and recorded as one of the world's most expensive cars. A weird-beautiful retro concept of Ares Maserati

Back to 2018, Ares Design seemed to pop up out of nowhere and suddenly come up with a rather stunning design, that can be said as the most beautiful and also out of the box concept they ever made.

They are called it in Italian as 'Wami ProgettoDue,' or 'Project Wami'. This project was inspired by the 1956 Maserati A6CGS Spyder classic figure with the body by Frua, but instead its figure looks like the details of that car were just Photoshopped onto a Miata.

“When it comes to fruition Project Wami will be the finest bespoke roadster and a true testament to Ares Design’s painstaking eye for detail,” Ares promises. We loved their last few designs, so hopefully, they take another stab, or three, at this one.

Ares says it will be made of lightweight and strong materials such as handcrafted aluminum, carbon fibre, and leather, which means it won’t be cheap either. The details are still very little, because the project seems to be in the early stages of development. 

But, the windshield is one part that is difficult to change, even if most of the body panels are changed. In the eyes of some people, Project Wami looks rather similar to Ferrari Portofino, which means might be it carries a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

As qouted of driving.ca, at glance the interior looks okay, but there is something very strange here. Because, from the rendering images shows three pedals, it indicating that the car was adopted manual transmission system, but no shift lever is visible and also no detailed description where's those shift lever been hidden if it existed.

But after we saw those retro concept car's cabin taken from the official site of Ares Design, it was clearly seen where the shift lever was placed (it looks like someone from Ares Design has made corrections to the previous image).

The release date hasn’t been discussed, and neither has the powertrain or the car it’s based on. And also there's no further information whether there're Ares Design customers who willing to order this retro concept and built it into real car. Here is the ancestral figure of sports car existed today

The world automotive market share is enlivened by various types of cars, one of which is a sports car. Although very familiar with its name, but not many people know the ancestral figure of the sports car. The world's oldest sports car is known as the Vauxhall 'Prince Henry' Sport Torpedo which produced by Vauxhall, a British auto manufacturer in between 1911 to 1914.

As quoted from the Mirror.co.uk pages, in its time the Vauxhall Sport Torpedo was able to drive at a speed of 129 kph (80 mph). Those performance numbers are obtained from its 4-cylinder four-litre monoblock engine capable of spraying power up to 25 bhp. At that time the automotive technology was in its infancy and the average road car would be lucky to hit half of the speed produced by this car.

Perhaps because of those car's quick performance so that many highly regarded historians claiming the Prince Henry is the first ever sports car. Or in other words, it earned the moniker because it was essentially a re-bodied racing car, capable of being driven at high speeds while carrying four people and a boot-load of luggage.

However, it is not known for certain availability at the beginning of production, but in the intervals of several years the availability of the ancestors of sports cars in the world has been depleting. Even today there are only seven units left and become one of very rare automotive products.

This car was developed by Vauxhall's engineer named Laurence Pomeroy, was given coachwork by Hoskison Ltd from Birmingham and was delivered new to the T.W. Badgery, a keen cyclist and businessman who works in the leather industry in Worcester.

Mr. Badgery ran the Vauxhall on castor oil second pressings from his leather factory and kept it until 1931, by which time the car enthusiast and his chauffeur, Witts, had clocked up an impressive 140,000 miles.

Then the ownership of this car turned to Laurence Pomeroy Jr, whose dad was the famous Vauxhall designer and engineer who came up with the Prince Henry and He kept it until his death in 1966.

While the last owner of the car was known as Reg Long, an engineer from Lincolnshire who bought it in 1970 and died early in 2016. During the 46 years Mr Long owned the car, it has been driven around Europe and featured in numerous books and magazine features.
And finally, the 1914 Vauxhall 'Prince Henry' Sport Tornado was auctioned by the Bonhams auction house in London, England in 2016. At that time the car that was considered very rare was offered start at a price of £500,000 or Rp.8.8 billion.
