Then related to the car's name is chosen, the Saloon Automobile itself is a sub-brand of Great Wall Motors (GWM), one of the Chinese lead automotive companies. Meanwhile, Mecha Dragon is taken from the Mega Man 2 game theme.

No wonder if the  car's appearance is indeed made in the style of a monster robot from the virtual game. Of course, this sports car enthusiast does not come from ordinary people rather than the gamers and ones whose want to appear eccentric on the highway.

According to Wen Fei, CEO of Saloon Automobile that currently 10 of the new cars released, 9 of them are SUVs. The market seems weary of this state of affairs and needs something very different. Moreover, the offer of a car with an authentic aesthetic is very rare. "Because we are not used to it, we will do it ourselves," he said.

If you look of its statures, the Saloon Mecha Dragon does not imply that the car has a price of billions. How not, its appearance is full of angled, does not has dynamically flowing like a Ferrari or Maserati.

A toaster-shaped smart Toyota of the 2000s

Weird ONES Toyota in its work in the world of the automotive industry as one of the largest manufacturers in the world, actually has produced many motor vehicles. Well, among the many vehicles made by The Japanese auto-giant, there are also many unique and strangely shaped motor vehicles which sometimes makes us frown while asking ourselves, 'how can the big-company like Toyota make such strange vehicle?'
This weird shaped car called the Toyota POD Concept was made by Toyota in early of 2000s. (Picture from: JuraganMobilBekas Mixed by: Eka)
That thing spontaneous crossed our minds when seen these two unique four-wheeled vehicles of Toyota in the status of Quirky Rides on Twitter some time ago. Uniquely, these two vehicles were made by Toyota in early of 2000s. Initially, we've had thought that the Japanese manufacturer engineers might be experienced déjà vu or even brain cramps when making those vehicles (Ups, sorry).💨 Before you feel more curious about those vehicles, come on let's see below!
This weird shaped car called the Toyota POD Concept is built by Toyota in collaboration with the compatriot electronics company Sony and is introduced first in the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. (Picture from: JuraganMobilBekas)
Previously we had discussed the Toyota WiLL VI and the next weird-shaped car called the Toyota POD Concept (might be some of you seen it like a toaster). It is a future concept car was built by Toyota in collaboration with the compatriot electronics company Sony and is featured with an artificial intelligence system that makes it appear more personal. By such artificial intelligence system as if could be made the Toyota POD seem alive.

How can, there many advanced features inside the car, such the screen with various displays generated by Sony-software, so it can create shopping lists, play music and radio. Even the car can also judge the attitudes and moods of drivers based on their reactions and how they drive, also can offer suggestions on how to improve their mood at the time.
This Toyota POD Concept features a hands only 'drive-by-wire' control system enabling steering, braking and acceleration to be operated through a single controller. (Picture from: JuraganMobilBekas)
Besides that, the seats inside the car's cabin are made in such a way as a high-cozy seat that can be rotated freely. While on the exterior, the Toyota POD Concept can express its own feelings by colored LEDs (red as angry, yellow as happy, blue as sad) as well as antennae and which can be wagged, like a dog's tail.

The car also features a hands only 'drive-by-wire' control system enabling steering, braking and acceleration to be operated through a single controller. However, the automaker did not provide any information about the drivetrain and other related technical data, we assumed the POD concept car is driven by an electric motor.
This unique car is first introduced at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. As we've mentioned before, the PODs were designed some kind of your pet on wheels in the future, sadly never get into the Toyota's production lines.😒 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | WIKIPEDIA | OLDCONCEPTCARS | CARTHROTTLE | ULTIMATESPECS | TOYOTA UK MAGAZINE ]

Did You know if Segway also developed a hydrogen-powered motorcycle?

Next Mean Environmentally friendly vehicle developments are not only dominated to be done by automotive manufacturers. The manufacturer such Segway, which we previously knew as a self-balancing two-wheeled electric vehicles manufacturer is now also starting to venture into the development of low-emission motorcycles.
The Segway Apex H2 concept is designing to represent the future motorcycle featured with an electric-hydrogen hybrid drivetrain. (Picture from: TrendHunter)
Now under the new parent company from China Ninebot, Segway is reportedly starting to expand its production range, following the production of electric bicycles and go-karts, now Segway is designing as an electric-hydrogen hybrid motorcycle called the Segway Apex H2 which has a design visualization representing future motorcycles.
The Segway Apex H2 is still loyal to adopting the superbike style. Overall has an aggressive and assertive design. (Picture from: InsideHook)
The futuristic style two-wheeled vehicle is powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which is said to be debuting in 2023 and is expected to be a unique product in the future. It is also mentioned as a further development of the Segway Apex which had previously introduced in 2019 and appeared at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The Segway Apex H2 is built as further development of this Segway Apex had previously introduced in 2019. (Picture from: ThePack)
To achieve these expectations, it can be seen from a number of features that the company offers for the Segway Apex H2. First, the frame looks redesigned by adding hydrogen power. To be precise, the bike is packed with hydrogen cylinders that are likely to be refillable. The details are not yet available, considering that this motorcycle is still in the early stages of development.

Ninebot revealed that, this first hydrogen-electric motorcycle will have excellent performance, and very low fuel consumption. It is estimated that the maximum power can reach 60 Kw (80 hp) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in just 4 seconds. But the maximum speed that can be achieved is reportedly limited only 150 kph (93 mph).

It is also mentioned that the Apex H2 is still loyal to adopting the superbike style. Overall has an aggressive and assertive design. It looks sporty with a stretched full fairing. It also equipped with horizontal headlights that are integrated with the windshield and front body. The rear is more minimalist to give the impression of a future vehicle. And of course both lighting is already applied an advance LED technology.

The middle body bulges densely encasing a large-dimensional battery as well as a special hydrogen tube. In some parts painted a fluorescent yellow color that reflects as the future vehicles and also found on each side of the fairing, end of the subframe and wheel lip. While the rim is neatly covered by a black cover. It's not clear how the braking system works because the images published are still prototypes.

Furthermore, the Apex H2 is supported by the use of an abnormal suspension that relies on one side swing arm to support both wheels. The system is similar to the Rotationally Advanced Design Development (RADD) that was used on the prototype of the Yamaha GTS 1000 and Morpho concept.

Its hybrid technology has generated so much interest since it was first released that people are struggling to get their hands on a single unit of this vehicle when the company was officially opened orders for the Segway Apex H2 from April 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021. The company planned for mass production soon which is not only to explore new clean energy applications, but also to help the country achieve its “autonomy from coal” goal.
If the Apex H2 could be realized soon, it will be the world's first hybrid two-wheeled vehicle that uses a hydrogen fuel cell combination with electric battery. This is a true revolution of the company under the Xiaomi umbrella. This Chinese private electronics company acquired Segway in 2015 with a total investment of no less than $80 million at the time.
While Ninebot is a team of robotic technicians from China that focuses on the development of artificial intelligence and environmental protection. Some of Ninebot's assets belonged to Xiaomi after they started a crowdfunding project in 2013.

When the Taiwanese smartphone maker want to make electric cars

When Phonemaker... The development of electric-powered vehicle industries that is currently booming is not only carried out by automotive companies, but by other parties or companies who had nothing to do with the automotive industry previously. This is also done by a Taiwanese manufacturing company named HonHai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. through its brand, Foxconn, which has been known for assembling various well-known American telecommunications products such the Apple iPhone.
Foxtron Debuts Three New EV Prototypes at Hon Hai Tech Day 2021. (Picture from: Tekno-Kompas)
Reportedly, the Taiwanese company is now preparing to expand its business into the electric-powered vehicle (EV) industry and unmitigated, as their initial step into the EV industry, the company introduced three EV prototypes under the Foxtron brand at the company's exhibition titled 'HonHai Tech Day 2021' held recently in Taipei. The "Foxtron" brand electric-powered vehicles are the collaboration result between Hon Hai with several other companies such a compatriot car maker named Yulon Motors, and Pininfarina, an Italian world' famous automotive design house.

Those three EV prototypes consist of two passenger cars (such the SUV and sedan), and a bus. Those three were given almost similar names to the Tesla's electric cars, namely the Foxtron Model C for the SUV, the Foxtron Model E for the luxury sedan, and the Foxtron Model T for the electric bus. Let's take a look one by one;

1. Foxtron Model C
The Foxtron Model C is the first model to be built on the HonHai's electric vehicle platform and is positioned as an optimized fully electric powered SUV. The EV design isn't only has a minimalist look, but also significantly minimizes the mechanical components space used, while maximizing seating space for the driver and passengers.

Dimensionally, this Model C electric car measures 4.64 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.86 meters, and offers comfortable seating for 5-2 people and plenty of storage space, making it easy to navigate into the urban areas crowded while still enjoying yourself inside the spacious luxury car.
As for the technical specifications, the Taiwanese company claims that the Model C can accelerate from rest to 100 kph in just 3.8 seconds and can drive up to 700 km on a single charge. Later, the Foxtron Model C will be marketed under the Yulon brands and to be ready for sale in 2023.

2. Foxtron Model E
In the development of the Foxtron Model E, the Taiwanese company collaborated with a well-known Italian coachbuilder company Pininfarina. It was further stated that the Foxtron Model E was designed as a luxury vehicle, with strong and bold lines, as well as elegant lighting characteristics with innovative technology that can meet the needs of middle and upper class consumers, especially business people.

This can be seen in the figure of an electric car that has a striking exterior design with a "smart surface" on the front and rear fascia, as well as the doors. On the inside, an elegant wrap-around design extends from the front door, through the pillars, to the rear door. While inside the cabin, its back seat space can transform into an integrated office with personal mobile devices seamlessly connecting to passenger cars, enabling a range of smart applications such as facial recognition door opening as you approach. In addition, this car is also equipped with advanced features that allow it to interact with its surroundings.
The Italian coachbuilder company further mentioned that the Foxtron Model E is driven by a series of electric motors capable of producing around 750 horsepower (559 kilowatts), and can accelerate from rest to 62 mph (100 kph) in 2.8 seconds, and offers a range of about 750 km (435 miles) on a single battery charge.

3. Foxtron Model T
The next electric vehicle is the Foxtron Model T which is projected as a smart urban transportation solution that has a rigid and high body design and protection that meets the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations and standards. This Taiwanese company claims that their electric bus has a range of up to 400 kilometers per single charge, and is capable of traveling up to a maximum speed of up to 120 kph.
The Foxtron Model T is a electric-powered bus and projected as a smart urban transportation solution that has a rigid and high body design and protection that meets the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations and standards. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
To date, the Foxtron Model T has completed an acceleration endurance test of 200,000 km and more than 1,000 hours of rigid strength testing at the Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC), a Taiwanese government funded non-profit automotive research facility located in Lukang. The testing is intended to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers. This is not surprising because from the outset this electric bus was projected to be sold first in Taiwan, which is said to be used as a local transportation service in Southern Taiwan.
Chairman of HonHai, Young Liu, said that the company targets annual revenue from the electric vehicle sector to reach 1 trillion Taiwan dollars or equivalent to US $35 billion (Rp. 501 trillion)  by 2026. It is not known exactly when this Foxtron-branded electric vehicle will be mass-produced. What is clear, Foxconn has been actively making deals to smooth the company's steps into the EV industry.

For example, Foxconn bought the Ohio-based factory Lordstown Motor's for US $230 million. While in August, the company also bought a chip factory somewhere in Taiwan in an effort to maintain a steady supply of automobile semiconductor chips. Reportedly also that the Taiwanese company will be partnered with the other EV maker Fisker in electric vehicles producing by 2023.

Although many details were lacked on the car's features, what the Taiwanese company has shown so far looks impressive. The Foxtron Model E and two other electric vehicles are scheduled to go on sale sometime in 2023. As quoted from Id.Motor1, which believes that one or even all three will not be shipped to overseas markets, they will most likely be made exclusively from Taiwan. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | HONHAI | VOA | ID.MOTOR1 | MOTORTREND ]

The future Vespa La Speciale concept capable to be transformed into a segway

Sempre Una Vespa It's been a long time, we don't write the content that talks about the scooters. And now it feels like it's time for us to re-present something about today's scooter designs (although only in terms of ideas and concepts) related to current trends. The following is one of the scooter concepts (here's no. 3 of 3 concepts) that we have prepared where the whole design are inspired by the Italian scooter legend, Piaggio Vespa.
The Vespa La Speciale Concept is complied as a disertation of three Italian students of the Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD) in Turin. (Picture from: Behance.net)
Did you know that apart from those who know how to earn a trust like the designers who officially work for the company, there are literally thousands of others struggling to stand out? And often the latter is much better than the former. For example in the case of the following three Italian students who do their job far beyond what is called a "professional" after You seen their designed scooter as follow;
Here are the three Italian students of the Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD), namely Federico Bernardi, Mattia La Coppola and Andrea Ortile. (Picture from: Behance.net)
As quoted from ScooterNet, it is said that there are three Italian students, namely Federico Bernardi, Mattia La Coppola and Andrea Ortile, who are studying in the major of the industrial design at the Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD), a Turin-based private university of design. And when they were about to finish their studies, they then compiled a dissertation on the future Vespa scooter design called Vespa La Speciale for its 70th birthday (meaning 5 years ago, because today, in 2021 Vespa celebrates the 75th anniversary).
The Vespa La Speciale Concept is created by combining past traditions and future innovations without forgetting the values of originallity as well as reinterpretated of globally thinking without time limit. (Picture from: Behance.net)
After first they putting the idea on a piece of paper, and immediately set up the parameters that would characterize of the scooter design, such as usability, Italian, social, youth, traditional, smart, simple, cool, fashionable, etc.
The Vespa La Speciale Concept was developed as an electric-powered vehicle to support the needs of the new generation. (Picture from: Behance.net)
As excerpted from BehanceNet, this future Vespa scooter design is created by combining past traditions and future innovations without forgetting the values of originallity as well as reinterpretated of globally thinking without time limit. Vespa La Speciale is a two-wheeled vehicle designed to target young people. That is why this scooter concept was developed as an electric-powered vehicle to support the needs of the new generation.
The Vespa La Speciale Concept is electric powered, and therefore the engine size can be reduced, followed by under-saddle storage space. (Picture from: Behance.net)
According to the designers, the concept was formally created after having finished observing carefully what the Vespa was in the past, a true legend of the Italian two-wheeler. And finally, they decided to take inspiration from the Vespa 50 Special, a small, compact and versatile vehicle powered by a tiny 50 cc engine. Furthermore, it was also mentioned that this two-wheeler concept combines two sides that have always been faithful to the Vespa brand, namely the scooter's fashions and accessories.
The Vespa La Speciale Concept is is a two-wheeled vehicle designed to target young people. (Picture from: Behance.net)
After the scooter design sketches were completed, the color composition began to fall and at the same time the ideas based on the latest technology also emerged, such as the rear wheel (when the scooter stops) can be detached from the scooter body which can be functioned as a one-wheelers such the Segway. Dodgy, isn't!
The Vespa La Speciale Concept's 'killing details', take a look at the 'shell wreath' of the cut projector. (Picture from: Behance.net)
Also, because the scooter is electric powered, and therefore the engine size can be reduced, followed by under-saddle storage space, that's the next brilliant design ideas of them.
Not to mention, if you want to talk about the 'killing details', take a look at the 'shell wreath' of the cut projector. Top proposals we've never seen before.

When it's finished, few see their work, few know about it and never been glimpsed by any scooter manufacturers.😭 But what is certain this design concept has spoken along with the increasing number of modern scooters passing by on the streets.
The Vespa La Speciale Concept's rear wheel (when the scooter stops) can be detached from the scooter body which can be functioned as a one-wheelers such the Segway. (Picture from: Behance.net)
Right now, don't be surprised if you see the ideas of three Italian youngster might be seen on the current production version scooters. Why can this happen? Because this is usually done, with the excuse of 'un-officially design', thus giving the brand owner 'more rights' to implement it arbitrarily. Is it true like that? The answer entirely is up to you. 🙏 Keep in mind, We are not in a judgmental capacity.
