Through a spokesperson, Sony said that it would not mass produce the Vision-S. "At this time, we have no plans to mass produce or sell vehicles," said a Sony spokesman who was not identified.

"Our strength is in imaging and sensors, we aim to contribute to safety and reliability in autonomous driving, while providing great experiences that take advantage of entertainment in the mobility space," he added.

To support self-driving technology, Sony currently uses 40 points, and four of which are lidar. The number of sensors will directly increase the ability of 360-degree technology awareness. Currently the Vision-S already has a level 2 self-driving system, but soon Sony will upgrade it to level 4.

For your information, the Sony Vision-S was built in collaboration with a German manufacturer, Magna Steyr. The same company had ever produced the Toyota Supra and BMW Z4. Besides that Sony also collaborates with other well-known brands in the electronics world such as Bosch, Continental, Nvidia and Qualcomm.

To support the Sony Vision-S as a purely electric-powered four-wheeled vehicle weighing of 2,350 kg, the propulsion comes from a pair of 200 kW electric motors, for a total of 400 kW (536 hp). The power is capable of accelerating the car from still  to 100 kph in just 4.8 seconds, and a top speed of up to 240 kph. Not bad at all.
In order to dampen all the shocks caused by road conditions as well as the driving comfort factor, the Sony Vision-S uses the air suspension at the front and double-wishbone at the rear. The electric-powered car is equipped with four tires with the profiles of 245/40 and 275/35, which are attached to the 21-inch rims, while for the braking system entrusted to the Brembo's. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARANDDRIVER | 3NIONS ]

Aptera, super-efficient electric-powered car

Unique ONES An American automotive startup company named Aptera has just launched a very promising electric car for the market. However, actually they are not a new company, the company has been established since 2005, but they went bankrupt in 2011. It was only in 2019 that Aptera was reformed by its original founders.
2021 Aptera Paradigm, a three-wheeled electric-powered vehicle is claimed to be able travel as far as 1,600 km on a single full charge. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3qndsyq)
And now they are ready to introduce their first car to the public which is named Aptera Paradigm. The electric car is claimed to be able to go as far as 1,600 km on a single full charge. The car carries a sleek and futuristic three-wheeled vehicle design with a shape similar to a wingless aircraft fuselage, and it seems to be the reason behind its small drag coefficient, which is 0.13.
2021 Aptera Paradigm carries a sleek and futuristic design with a shape similar to a wingless aircraft fuselage. (Picture from: https://bit.ly/3qndsyq)
The main purpose of the Aptera electric-powered vehicle was created to eliminate carbon emissions that have been produced by conventional-fueled combustion engines. However, when the electricity itself still comes from a source that uses coal as its fuel, perhaps the idea of zero emissions is still not fully realized.
2021 Aptera Paradigm's cabin features simple modern dashboard coupled with 2 seater inside it. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/3nM89Hl)
The Aperta will be available in several variants that are differentiated based on the cruise capability. At the very bottom, it uses a 25 kWh battery which can last up to 402 km on a single charge. In addition there is also a 40 kWh model with a range of 644 km and a 60 kWh battery for a distance of up to 966 km.

The highest variant of the Aptera electric-powered vehicle is equipped with a large battery with a capacity of 100 kWh plus a solar panel on the roof that can absorb energy to provide an additional 64 km of mileage in the sun. The number of solar panels can be increased to be placed on the hood of the car so that there is an additional 38.8 km of mileage with solar panels alone.
2021 Aptera Paradigm also has a solar panel on the roof that can absorb energy to provide an additional 64 km of mileage in the sun. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/3nM89Hl)
Various motor drive configurations will be offered depending on the variant. No horsepower and torque figures are provided yet, but front-wheel drive models can typically hit 96 kph in 5.5 seconds. Meanwhile, this three-wheel drive car only takes 3.5 seconds to reach it. The key to the performance of this electric car is the fact that the 100 kWh battery of the Aptera electric car weighs less than 1,000 kg.

In addition, with fast charging, in one hour it can be charged to be able to go as far as 800 km. In other words, on the variant equipped with a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, the distance is believed to be up to 1,000 miles (1,600 km) per charge. But efficiency is only part of the whole story, because Aptera Paradigm is also equipped with the ability to create its own energy.
2021 Aptera Paradigm is reportedly going to start production in 2021, and the company has received orders from the US consumers with an order fee of the US. $100. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/3nM89Hl)
The method applied is almost the same, namely by attaching solar panels to the roof of the car along with the front and rear hood. In a day (assuming the weather is not cloudy and the sun shines so brightly) Aptera Paradigm's solar panels are claimed to be able to produce electrical energy equivalent to a distance of 64 miles (± 103 km).

Of course this can mean that the Aptera Paradigm is not a fully solar powered car and still needs to be charged as usual, but at least the presence of these solar panels can help eliminate the worry that the car's energy will not be enough to reach the destination, or better known as cool "range anxiety".
Aptera Paradigm is reportedly going to start production in 2021, and from now on, Aptera has received orders from consumers in the United States with an order fee of the US. $100 or Rp.1.4 million which is refundable if the purchase is canceled. The official price tag is in the range of $25,900 (or around Rp.365 million) - $46,900 (or Rp.648 million). Of course, the cheapest price is not for a capacity of 1,000 kWh, but for 250 kWh. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | APTERA.US | FORBES.COM | GREENMATTER.COM ]

Vespa Elettra, an electro design for a classic soul by MA-DE STUDIO

Recently, the trend of electrification in the two-wheeler segment has also begun to develop rapidly, marked by an unprecedented boom in popularity, especially in recent years. Various well-known motorcycle manufacturers have started to introduce and even sell electricity-based products.

But the sophistication of an electric motorbike has not been able to shake the tastes of classic motorcycle lovers who remain faithful in choosing conventional classic motorbikes, and this also includes classic Vespa scooter fans who can be said to be one of the largest fan communities in the world.
Vespa Elettra, elettro design for a classic soul by MA-DE STUDIO. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ML6WmD)
As we all know, Vespa is the most iconic Italian scooter brand in the world. But to be more specific, we are talking about the Piaggio's Vespa model which was patented almost 75 years ago, to be precise April 1946. Until now, Vespa scooters have had a fantastic total sales figure, reaching 18 million units worldwide. So it is not surprising that Vespa has many loyal fans around the world
.

In the context of the electrification trend of motorized vehicles, it has also begun to touch the scooter sector, particularly Vespa scooters. Piaggio, as the manufacturer that holds the Vespa brand, has also tried to follow this trend. There are several models of electric scooters that this manufacturer has tried, namely the Vespa Elettrica which was introduced to the public for the first time in 2016.
Vespa Elettra, elettro design for a classic soul by MA-DE STUDIO. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ML6WmD)
However, the foregoing does not reduce the interest of third parties outside the Italian giant scooter maker to try to come up with creative ideas in the form of electric vehicles which are design inspired by the Piaggio's classic scooter.

Here's MA-DE STUDIO is answered the above questions in their latest project. "This project is not an official Vespa assignment, but something we created because of our love for this iconic Italian Vespa brand," said Andrea Della Vecchia, founder of MA-DE Studio Design, as quoted of Autoevolution.

MA-DE Design Studio itself is an international design studio based in Cuomo, Italy, so it makes perfect sense that they involve Vespa models in this serious project. As a form of support for the scooter, the pride of the Italian state.
Vespa Elettra, elettro design for a classic soul by MA-DE STUDIO. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ML6WmD)
The electric-powered scooter named Vespa Elettra, to be electro design for a classic soul, is designed very attractive and inspired by the classic Vespa scooter, which is also known as the Vespa which is transformed into an electric scooter without losing its classic identities and souls.

Everything looks harmonious together, starting from the classic handlebar on which there's a sophisticated dashboard and equipped with a touch screen with high technology. Then as the drivetrain, the scooter uses an electric motors that is capable of producing 9.38 horsepower with 240 Nm of torque, so that it can make it go at a maximum speed of up to 95 kph.
It armed with a 5.6 kWh battery, so the electric-powered Vespa Elettra scooter can cover a distance of 150 km for a single battery charge, far above the word that is enough to be used everyday around the city with this eccentric-style scooter.

But what is also no less cool than this 'classic' with the latest technology is the Bluetooth connectivity feature to be paired with a special application, which becomes an authentication key and a virtual dashboard for relevant travel settings and data.

“I really believe in the movement towards electric mobility. It's only a matter of time, not only for cars but also for scooters and other small vehicles as mobility vehicles in urban areas,” concluded Della Vecchia.

In fact, this is not the first time a third party has come up with a creative idea in the form of an electric-powered scooter concept inspired by classic Vespa scooters, such as the Vespampère electric scooter concept by Giulio Iacchetti, the Vespa 98e Concept by Mightyseed Designs, which was present some time ago.

And here's the soundless Piaggio Vespa Elettrica video, while passing through your heart.😀
Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of the two-wheeled monster and stay alive with true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops...... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | VESPA | MA-DE STUDIO | EICMA 2019 | AUTOEVOLUTION | ELECTRICMOTORCYCLES ]
