Furthermore, in terms of design, not all the lines in this concept car tell about the past which are then used as a source of inspiration for the future, for examples, at the rear part comes from the Ferrari 499P which was recently introduced by the Maranello-based manufacturer for the 24-Hours Le Mans racing event next year, especially the wings and diffuser.
The Ferrari Vision GranTurismo also developed with recently patented aerodynamic engineering by using two side ducts that route the front airflow around the cockpit and over the sidepods. (Picture from: CarScoops)
In addition, Ferrari also developed this Vision Gran Turismo racing car with its newly ventilated wheel arches and recently patented aerodynamic engineering as well by using two side ducts that route the front airflow around the cockpit and over the sidepods. As for propulsion, Ferrari Centro Stile said it would install a mid-mounted 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine similar to that used to power the Ferrari 296 GTB/GTS as well as the Ferrari GT3 and Ferrari 499P racing cars.
The Ferrari Vision GranTurismo is surprisingly lightweight (only slightly heavier than the Mazda MX-5), with a dry weight of just 1,250 kilograms (2,756 lbs) distributed 43.5 percent front and 56.5 percent rear. (Picture from: CarScoops)
Without any obligation to comply certain regulations or meet certain requirements as in real racing events, so it giving the engineers at Ferrari Centro Stile complete freewill to bring their 120-degree V6 engine coupled with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox borrowed from Formula-1 into its new performance, ie to produces 1,030 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 900 Nm (664 lbs-ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Reportedly, Ferrari has done some a kind of calculation with the result said that the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo capable to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in less than two seconds, also from 0-124 mph (200 kph) in less than five seconds. On average, the racing cars built specifically for the Gran Turismo 7 can reach fantastic speeds of over 217 mph (350 kph). Even crazier, the famous Italian prancing horse brand has even released a hypothetical lap time around Ferrari's Fiorano Circuit, with a time of under 1 minute 10 seconds.

Actually, it was the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo concept car previously had appeared virtually in a well-known video game titled 'GranTurismo Sport' on the Sony PlayStation 4 console. From the exterior, this McLaren's single-seater hypercar looks nothing less than a prototype class race car for the World Endurance Championship.
The McLaren Solus GT bodywork is built based on a unique carbon fiber monocoque chassis that is lightweight and therefore weighs under 1,000 kg. (Picture from: TopGear)
For some reason, in our perpective this McLaren hypercar immediately reminds us of the Mazda Furai. Perhaps (at glance) both has similar appearance. So, how about you? As you can see, the McLaren Solus GT is built based on a unique carbon fiber monocoque chassis that is lightweight and therefore weighs under 1,000 kg. Although, it's capable of producing 1,200 kg of downforce while running at full speed.
The McLaren Solus GT's canopy has a single wiper placed in the middle, and also a large splitter that helps with downforce of 1,200 kg while running at full speed. (Picture from: TopGear)
The canopy has a single wiper placed in the middle, and also a large splitter that helps with downforce. While, at the front, there is a small cutout featuring the onboard suspension, coupled with the slim LED headlights. Furthermore the driver sits in the middle, like the McLaren F1 without two other passenger seats.
Inside the cabin of the Solus GT feels like in a fighter's cockpit, featured with a Formula 1-inspired carbon fiber steering wheel, and digital mirror displays. (Picture from: TopGear)
The driver's seat, which is fixed and adjusted according to the driver posture, and is accessed by opening the canopy upward. Then inside the cabin of the Solus GT, there's a Formula 1-inspired carbon fiber steering wheel, and digital mirror displays, so that when you are in the cabin it feels like in a fighter's cockpit.

Here's the all-electric Maserati's radical-looks hypercar inspired by its racing legacy

Concept ONLY Reportedly, the Italian trident-logoed sports car manufacturer, Maserati, after successfully launching its newest supercar, the Maserati MC20 in 2020, will soon enter the world of electric-powered vehicles. And then the manufacturer said that it had started testing an electric drive system that would complement future the Maserati models.
Maserati Neptune Concept, a single-seat electric-powered supercar concept is designed by Salvatore Andrea Piccirillo and inspired by the Maserati 250F lagendary race car of the 1950s. (Picture from: HotCars)
And it is also mentioned that in 2022 the Maserati MC20 will also be powered by three electric motors which are claimed to be able to spew more power. It is also mentioned that there are already another several experimental vehicles that have used the electric motors that applied the latest Maserati's technology which was fully developed in their own laboratory in Modena, Italy. They will come soon.
The legendary Maserati 250F of the 1950s known as the inspiration source for the Maserati Neptune Concept. (Picture from: Wikipedia)
But what if the Modena-based manufacturer dared to present a radical form of an electric-powered supercar. Maybe through the following concept, a famous car and yacht designer named Salvatore Andrea Piccirillo intended to be the answer of that question. Well, in a brilliant way, he poured out a radical design idea of a single-seat electric-powered supercar concept called the Maserati Neptune Concept. Its name is coincidentally a translation for 'Nettuno,' the engine name installed on Maserati MC20 supercar.
The Maserati Neptune Concept has plenty of void space in the middle, seem uses a Formula E racecar platform featuring super-sized wheels and arching lines that connect them, this pixel exercise easily stimulates the mind. (Picture from: Techeblog)
Conceptually, the mentioned supercar is not meant to be a rival to the upcoming electric-powered MC20 supercar variant, but rather solely an envisioned with all-electric powered single-seat supercar is inspired by the legendary Maserati 250F race car. As stated by the designer of Maserati Neptune Concept, that the vision is a homage to the legendary Maserati 250F, that has been driven by legends like Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio and Maria Teresa de Filippis (as the first Formula-1 woman driver).
The Maserati Neptune Concept is powered by 3 electric motors, the main one is on the front of the car while the other two are attached on each its rear wheels. (Picture from: Techeblog)
"Maserati Neptune wants to take back the original 250F layout, but with a different shape and proportions. A particular attention to the Maserati's classic race car wore the racing livery number three, that is an important element in the history of Maserati is echoed in some details. There is 3 electric motors, the main one is on the front of the car while the other two are attached on each its rear wheels," Andrea Piccirillo said further.
While the Maserati Neptune Concept's batteries are hidden behind the main engine and inside the car monocoque. (Picture from: Worldlesstech)
But according to Autoevolution, the supercar appears with its unusual construction, which features plenty of void space in the middle, this virtual creation looks more like a sculpture than anything else. Nevertheless, the layout owes to the fact that, under the top side of the electric-powered vehicle, we've found a Formula E racecar platform featuring super-sized wheels and arching lines that connect them, this pixel exercise easily stimulates the mind. While the batteries are hidden behind the main engine and inside the car monocoque.
The engineering is thought to bring Formula E technology into a Granturismo concept, that’s a remarkable element in the history of Maserati. For this reason, Maserati Neptune Concept has an unique driver position, that is like a Formula 1 seat.

This can be translated as the implementation of the brand's racing DNA taken of the legendary Maserati 250F when it raced on the Formula-1 racetrack in the 1950s, so one can easily imagine the emotions of legendary drivers such Juan Manuel Fangio or Stirling Moss when riding this creation. Too bad, it's just an imaginary car.😉 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | YANKO DESIGN | WORLDLESSTECH | AUTOEVOLUTION | TECHEBLOG | HOTCARS ]

Submiting his work on Behance, Serafini reveals that his father once owned Montreal. “Back in 1986 my father bought a shiny orange Alfa Romeo Montreal. All originals except exhaust system, come from Ansa Marmitte. I remember the night he came home with an irregular V8. He parked at the back in the garage. The smoke was rising and the first thing I saw was the red taillights and chrome exhaust, "he was quoted as saying by Carscoops.
Luca Serafini said that his work reminded him of how he felt when he saw his father's car for the first time. "I stare at her. Muscular dynamic and aggressive. Looking at her now I can't feel the same way when I was a kid. So it's been almost 10 years I wanted to give a quick look into the future and feel again about those moments. And finally this is the Vision dress. GT. It's not about stylistic choices or functional engineering. I'm trying to create something that can subjectively bring me back as a kid. Something on four wheels that makes you say, WOW!" *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOPS | MOTOR1 | BEHANCE ]

In dimensions when compared to the Jaguar VGT Coupe, the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV is 861 mm longer. All parts of the body are utilized to generate maximum downforce, including the fully closed bottom. Not only closed, but also given special sculptures for the best air flow to the diffuser. As a result, the car's drag coefficient (Cd) is only 0.398, with 483 kg of downforce generated when the car's speed reaches 322 kph.

The interior is also made in such a way as to support aerodynamic performance, so when in the cockpit, so the driver is in an ergonomic position when driving the car with all the instruments positioned so that they are easily accessible to the driver's hand. All control devices are also designed to keep the car's weight light by using Typefibre material. These materials are used to make composite seats, which reportedly will also be tested on the Jaguar I-Type is will be used as the Formula E racing cars next season.
"The Vision GT SV is a dramatic and visually captivating car, showcasing what is possible when the traditional boundaries that govern real-world car design are completely removed. In bringing this car to life with a full-size design study, we were able to showcase the most extreme version of the Jaguar electric racing car that is inspired by the past, but looks fearless into the future," said the Jaguar's director of design, Julia Thomson.

"All aerodynamic features have been painstakingly optimized through cutting-edge computational fluid dynamics analysis - in exactly the same way we do real-world projects like the Jaguar I-TYPE Formula E race car," said Jaguar SV senior aerodynamic engineer Michael O'Regan. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | JAGUAR | AUTOWISE | ]

Lambo's V12 Vision Gran Turismo unveiled

Seem the supercar development will continue including by creating supercar concepts to compete in the virtual racing through the GranTurismo game on the PlayStation 5 platform. In this case, there're many world-renowned automotive manufacturers have been participated in those virtual races by making their best virtual car concepts. But frequently after making a virtual version car, then the manufacturer immediately makes it into a real-functioned car, can be driven by and even be produced in limited numbers.

Now Lamborghini seems also interested to take part in enlivening the virtual racing event. This was seen after some time ago the Italian manufacturer displayed a teaser image of its latest supercar mentioned as a supercar was specifically created to take part in that virtual racing event and given the name of Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo.
The single-seater-influenced Lambo's concept will be only available to drive virtually on Gran Turismo Sport in Spring 2020. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2rpBK1P)
Although, previously from the teaser image that has been released, it could only be seen a picture of a supercar's part that is estimated to be a spoiler and diffuser found on the rear. But then the real supercar figure was shown off by the raging bull logoed automotive manufacturer at an event called the 2019 Gran Turismo Championships World Finals, held on November 24, 2019, in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Lamborghini V12 Vision GT concept has a large wing housing a significant Y-taillight dominating the rear. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2rpBK1P)
According to Lamborghini, the supercar carries Lamborghini's distinctive DNA design and futuristic traits focus on an iconic single centerline and silhouette while emphasizing a single-seater layout, in its virtual form uses the powertrain from Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 which able to spew power up to 807 horsepower.

This virtual supercar has a sophisticated aerodynamic system while integrating performance surfaces and mind-blowing design, this can be seen from a large wing housing a significant Y-taillight dominating the rear (this part had seemed on the teaser image), the main body disconnected from the fenders, then there's a theme inspired by Lamborghini Marzal in the side windows and also the typical Lamborghini Y-signature for both front and rear lights.
Theoretically, the cabin concept allows the driver to enter the car from the front, like the canopy of a jet fighter. All controls come via the unique steering wheel, with all information projected onto the windscreen.

Even when there was a rumor mentioned that the Italian manufacturer will produce this supercar on a limited number later, but it was denied by the manufacturer. Furthermore explicitly, the Italian company says, that the Vision Gran Turismo projects isn't intended to preview any production model, and has been treated as an opportunity for designers to explore future themes. So it's clear, a real-life version won't be built.

The video below shows a row of cars from several world-renowned automotive manufacturers that have been competed virtually on the Gran Turismo Sport through the PlayStation platform in 2016.

Jaguar electric-powered supercar ready to compete in the Gran Turismo Sport arena

Jaguar follows in the footsteps of other world automotive manufacturers such as McLaren to Chevrolet which has developed virtual concept cars for the Gran Turismo video game under the Vision Gran Turismo brand. This time involving the Jaguar Coupe which was launched at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe became an electric sports car that will be available for download at the Gran Turismo Sports on the Sony PlayStation platform.

The appearance of this concept car looks futuristic, and Jaguar claims the Vision Gran Turismo Coupe's exterior design was inspired by two of its iconic racing cars from the 1950s namely Type-C and Type-D. However, the active rear wing of the car becomes a truly modern touch.

Likewise, the interior sector augmented reality glass features that can show information about the outside world and warn drivers about obstacles. This virtual concept car also has an AI assistant called KITT-E and a 3D image display. Jaguar actually works on 3D technology for production cars, even though it's not quite ready for prime time in public.

"This project has been fully led by our young designers and represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them to create vehicles that are full of our extraordinary heritage but push the boundaries of future design. The team has done an extraordinary job in creating something that can clearly be identified as Jaguar, inspired - but not limited - by our iconic past," said Jaguar Design Director, Julian Thomson.
Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe was inspired by its iconic models like the C-Type and D-Type. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/31RWb3J)
Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe may not be a real car, but Jaguar has engineered it virtually. The car has a perfect front compared to the distribution of rear weight with a percentage of 50:50 and weighs 1.4 tons. Of course, this is not a heavy car, for a car that carries around a heavy battery. Jaguar said its Formula E racing team had a hand in designing the powertrain, which consisted of three electric motors. One motor powers the front wheels, while the other two power each one rear wheel, giving the car an all-wheel drive.
Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Coupe was driven by 3 electric motors. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/31RWb3J)
Those three electric motors together drove the cars forward with power up to 1,005 horsepower and 1,199 Nm of torque. Jaguar claims the Vision Gran Turismo Coupe concept will accelerate from zero to 62 mph in less than 2.0 seconds, and reach a top speed of more than 200 mph. Like other real-existed electric supercars, it is expected to enter production over the next few years, such as the Tesla Roadster and Lotus Evija. But the performance claims of Tesla and Lotus remain like that because there has not been a car with powerful engine power.
Jaguar itself does not plan to incorporate the concept of the Vision Gran Turismo Coupe into its production line. And this sleek sports car was designed solely for the Gran Turismo Sport. But given Jaguar's current involvement in Formula E, as well as the secondary race series for the I-Pace electric SUV, it won't be surprising to see a more sporty electric Jaguar appear in the future based on this concept car. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | JAGUAR | GRANTURISMO | DIGITAL TRENDS]
