For example, 3D printing on the dashboard, reduces the use of glue and creates a unique one-piece design with embedded crystal materials. Then, instead of the traditional touch screen in the center of the dashboard, the information system is located above the instrument panel at the bottom of the windshield.
BMW has applied circularity to its vehicle concept from the start when designing the BMW iVision Circular. That is why this visionary vehicle is full of innovative ideas that combine Sustainability with an innovative and inspiring design aesthetic and we call this approach Circular Design,” explains Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BMW | BMW.CO.ID | BMWBLOG | ID.MOTOR1 | ]

A unique unusual Ferrari driven by Honda's drivetrain

Unique ONES When you first see this unique car, maybe you will shake the head while asking what car is this? It is not surprising, when there are those who feel astonished by the appearance of this one car modification. Yup, this is the 1981 Ferrari 308 GTBi powered by Honda K-Series engine, or in other words, this is an unusual fusion of an Italian retro supercar and an easily modified Japanese drivetrain.
Here's the StanceWorks 244 GTK is built based on the Ferrari 308 GTBi and was modified in such a way by StanceWorks, including by swapping its engine to the Honda K-Series. (Picture from: SpeedHunters)
Then who is the mastermind behind the unusual modification of the Ferrari 308 GTBi powered by the Honda K-Series engine? He is Mike Burroughs, an automotive activist, infuencer, who is also known as the founder of the automotive website StanceWorks, and this uniquely modification result car was then reintroduced under the name StanceWorks 244 GTK.
The StanceWorks 244 GTK is featured with body kit parts in the form of a splitter, side skirts, bolt-on over fenders, diffuser and big-sized rear wing. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
As quoted of SpeedHunters, this controversial project originated from the complications that had to be faced by Burroughs in maintaining the distinctive originality for his Ferrari 308 GTBi. For example, it is difficult to get spare parts, if any, the price is relatively high. Then it was from here that he started to consider several engine options until he finally chose the Honda K-Series which he thought was very reliable, which combined power potential, abundant spare parts, and easy maintenance.
The StanceWorks 244 GTK's front-fascia is then sweetened by the presence of two square sized Hella lights. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
In short, the Ferrari's default 2,900 cc V8 engine was swapped to an inline 4-cylinder drivetrain with a capacity of 2,400 cc coded K24A2 of the Acura TSX. Then those engine is transversely installed inside the engine bay, which is then followed by a series of high-performance parts to boost its power, ranging from installation of a firm transverse engine mounting, low-profile valve cover of Skunk2, up to the Garrett G42-1200 turbo injection.
Mike Burrough of StanceWorks posed along with his creation, the StanceWorks 244 GTK (in the background) at the Sema 2022. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
With the such drivetrain changes, so the pipes are automatically upgraded by the using aluminum ones to keep the temperature optimally. Besides that, its cooling system is also maximized thanks to the CSF radiator, plus two large sized ventilations on its carbon fiber made hood.
The StanceWorks 244 GTK is powered by an inline 4-cylinder K24A2 coded drivetrain with a capacity of 2,400 cc of the Acura TSX. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Then what about performance, under standard conditions combined with a 6-speed manual transmission system, the K24A2 unit can deliver a power output of up to 200 hp at 6,800 rpm and a torque of 166 lbs/ft at 4,500 rpm. However, the unit that is carried by the StanceWorks-built 308 GTBi has a performance of up to 1,000 hp or 800 hp more than the standard proportion. Then the potential for that much power is channeled to the rear wheels through Quaife QKE8J 5-speed sequential gearbox.
The StanceWorks 244 GTK's inside featured with a racing cabin layout completed with two Sabelt bucket seats. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Meanwhile for its body sector, the Ferrari 244 GTK is supplied with body kit parts in the form of a splitter, side skirts, bolt-on over fenders, diffuser and big-sized rear wing. The appearance of the front-fascia is then sweetened by the presence of two square sized Hella lights.
The StanceWorks 244 GTK also has big-sized diffuser and rear wing coupled with Rotiform five-spoke wheels with high-performance Nitto tires that fit nicely on all the axles. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Furthermore, to support the weight of the body, the H&R suspension springs and custom coilovers are believed to provide improvements in terms of handling and cornering speed of the car. While for the legs, it uses Rotiform five-spoke wheels and is wrapped in high-performance Nitto tires that fit nicely on all the axles.
This unusual modified car that was worked on by StanceWorks for almost 2 years, initially yellow and then turned white, was shown off to public for the first time at the CSF Radiators booth at the SEMA 2022 held in November, 2022. If you want to see the entire work process of this car starting from scratch until now, all of them is presented in the Stanceworkworks Youtube channel. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | STANCEWORKS | SPEEDHUNTERS | MOTORTREND ]

This is the fastest EV in China named GAC Aion Hyper SSR

New BEAST GAC (Guangzhou Auto Corporation) Group is known as one of the major automotive manufacturers from China which has been noted that in recent years it has seen launching a lot of electric-powered concept cars, such as in 2018, the manufacturer launched the GAC ENO.146 (a six-seater EV concept) , then in 2019, this Chinese car brand launched the GAC Enverge (an electric-powered crossover concept).
The Aion Hyper SSR is an electric sports car to be produced by Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Group and sold under the Aion premium EV brand beginning in 2023. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
In 2020, the Chinese manufacturer presented an electric-powered supercar concept, named the Aion Hyper SSR, which is said to be the fastest one in China. Now, the hypercar already entered into the development and assembly process, and will reach the customers soon in October 2023. The Chinese car manufacturer produced the hypercar in two variants; one is a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant and the other is an Four-Wheel Drive (FWD). Unfortunately that the Chinese manufacturer didn't mention at all how many cars it would produce.
The Aion Hyper SSR is powered by a pair of electric motors that combine to pump out over 1,225 hp and 8,850 lb-ft (12,000 Nm) of torque. (Picture from: Carscoops)
Meanwhile, in terms of performance, it is said that the Aion standard version can accelerate from idle to 100 kph in just 1.9 seconds (0.1 second slower than the Rimac Nevera). This is possible, thanks to the Aion's internal electric motors capable of producing a maximum output of 1,225 hp. In this case the GuangZhou, China-based car manufacturer says that this figure is 1.5 times more than the average Formula 1 car, although that number seems excessive.
Found at the front of the Aion Hyper SSR are a set of sleek headlights with LED daytime running lights. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
Then, its torque is recorded at 12,000 Nm, this is also a very astonishing number, so when You driving the Aion Hyper SSR with the full throttle, it will make your body immediately feel the sensation of 1.7G. Furthermore, to support those such big amount of powers, the GuangZhou, China-based car manufacturer makes its hypercar bodywork from carbon fiber and its derivatives, so it can reduce weight by 20%, and is also claimed 2.5 times stronger than steel as well.
GAC has also equipped the Aion Hyper SSR with frameless ‘Sky’ doors while also developing turbine-inspired wheels with carbon fiber inserts. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
As we can see, the Aion Hyper SSR is equipped with such a unique butterfly-styled door features, which makes it look sexier when both doors are opened up. Turning to the inside of the Hyper SSR we will be presented with the feel of a luxury supercar with bright blue accents throughout the cabin. Then the cabin contains two ergonomic racing bucket seats with a two-tone theme coupled with a square-shaped steering wheel.
The Aion Hyper SSR's interior is quite intriguing, and described as having “bi-level instrument panels” and exposed tubular structures throughout. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
Meanwhile, in matters of driver comfort, it presented by an infotainment system with 14.6-inch touch screen in the middle of the dashboard with several standard facilities such as a music player, radio and maps. Meanwhile, vehicle information and performance display will be presented on the 8.8-inch cluster meter screen. It is not yet known whether the Aion Hyper SSR is also equipped with the latest semi-autonomous features, but by looking at the concept offered, it seems more suitable for driving on circuits.
The Aion Hyper SSR's interior is also creating a unique exoskeleton that gives the interior a very unique feel. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
As we all know, China itself is a country that has the fastest growing electric vehicles in the world. There are many zero-emission vehicles born in those country, even Tesla chose China as a supplier of electric car batteries. Besides to the availability of basic materials for the manufacture of batteries, the country's ability to develop electric vehicle technology, so it made China has been taken into account by a number of major countries in the automotive industry. As the result, there're quite a number of electric vehicles made in China are marketed globally at relatively more affordable prices compared to the same products from other countries.
Visible at the rear of the Aion Hyper SSR are LED taillights and an active rear wing that increases downforce at high speeds. (Picture from: InsideEVs)
However, to get this GAC-made supercar is not cheap, you must be willing to spend a lot of money to get it. Although the price numbers are fantastic, but the GuangZhou, China-based car manufacturer claimed that its hypercar including a fast EV, can even be on par with the Rimac Nevera. So it totally worthied if the prospective customer wanna has one, should be spend a lot of money.
Reportedly, this supercar priced at exorbitant prices, in which the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant is priced at around CN ¥1.28 million or approx of Rp. 2 billion. While the second variant of the Four-Wheel Drive (FWD) priced at CN ¥1.84 million or approx of Rp. 3 billion. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | JALOPNIK | INSIDE EVS | CARSCOOPS ]

And one of the newest production lines was the Mercedes-Benz EQ Series, which was launched by those German car brand to answer the world's current trend of electric-powered vehicles.
Here they are the Mercedes-Benz EQ Series line ups that were introduced by those famous German automaker since 2020. (Picture from: Destefani.net)
Well, the Mercedes-Benz EQ Series had starting with the EQ Concept model was firstly introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. And then in 2020, the German auto brand began introducing the mass production version of the Mercedes-Benz EQ Series.
All the EQ Series had starting with the Mercedes-Benz EQ Concept was firstly introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. (Picture from: Trussty-Jasmine)
Then what are the Mercedes-Benz EQ Series line ups that were recently introduced by those famous German automaker? See more below!

1. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA
Mercedes-Benz has many SUV models, and for its electric vehicles lineup, one of which is the Mercedes-Benz EQA. This car also knew as the Mercedes-Benz's smallest electric SUV, and has appearance similar to the GLA-Class model. The EQA powered by a compact engine produces power up to 188 hp for the Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) variant.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA is available in two drive variants, namely Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD)(Picture from: Caricos)
If You though the performance number above was nothing special. Relax, the EQA also comes with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant whose power reaches 268 hp. This EQA AWD variant is capable to accelerate from zero to 100 kph in 8.9 seconds, not an impressive number but sufficient for daily needs. And with a single fully battery charges, the EQA can cover a distance of up to 400 km.

For the infotainment, the EQA got the Mercedes-Benz MBUX system which allows the driver to set several vehicle (standard) features via voice commands. The price range for the Mercedes-Benz EQA in the United States market is US $57,000 or Rp. 800 million. In this segment, it would became one of serious rivals for the Tesla's SUV models such as Model 3 and Model Y.

2. 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB
The Mercedes-Benz EQB can be said to be the electric version of the GLB-Class because it has a similar design base. It having power up to 221 hp, the EQB can cover a distance of up to 400 km on one single battery charges, and is enough to accommodate driving needs in the city.
The Mercedes-Benz EQB can cover a distance of 400 km on a single full battery charged. (Picture from: CarAndDriver)
By using the same chassis and components as the EQA doesn't limit the EQB. When you bought an this EQB model, you can expect the same cabin as the standard GLB-Class model. As it comes with three rows of passengers which are quite spacious, of course the EQB will be the choice of a family electric car.

The Mercedes-Benz EQB is marketed in two variants, namely, EQB250 and EQB350 of course with more power. For the United States market, the EQB is estimated to be priced at a similar price to the EQA models, namely, US $57,000 or Rp. 800 million. And the Mercedes-Benz EQB's rivals in the SUV segment are the recently introduced Tesla Model Y and Audi e-tron.

3. 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQC
If there is a question about which Mercedes-Benz EQ Series was introduced and marketed for the first time, and the answer is the Mercedes-Benz EQC. It having attracted attention when it appeared in several drama scenes of 'Start-Up' some time ago, it turns out that the EQC is rated by automotive activists as one of the most 'proper' electric cars at the moment.
The Mercedes-Benz EQC is rated by automotive activists as one of the most 'proper' electric cars. (Picture from: TopGear)
Even though it uses the 'C' appendage and is based on the Mercedes-Benz GLC, in fact the EQC appears with a much different look, such as has a more modern look with a lower line pull, makes the EQC appear more dynamic compared to the GLC standard models.

Meanwhile its electric motors capable to deliver 402 hp of power and 760 Nm of torque to all wheels, it also makes this Mercedes-Benz medium SUV accelerate from zero to 100 kph in just 4.8 seconds. Unfortunately, the EQC is not as frugal as its rivals in terms of mileage, namely the Tesla Model X, which records 480 km on a single charge. The Mercedes-Benz EQC is priced at US $68,895 or approx of Rp. 965 million.

4. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE
If some of the previous Mercedes-Benz models targeted the middle market segment, like the E-Class, but the Mercedes-Benz EQE was made for a higher market segment. While being in the E-Class family doesn't necessarily mean that the EQE has the exact same design. The Mercedes-Benz EQE looks more dynamic and modern than the more classic E-Class. Keeping with the premium class interior and features that add comfort, the EQE will be the most eye-catching electric-powered sedan.

Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz has not released official specifications for the EQE, but it is estimated that for the United States market, this electric sedan will be priced at US $ 65,000 or approx of Rp. 917 million for the lowest variant.

5. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS
Of course, Mercedes-Benz has not forgotten one of the sedan legends in its newest line of electric models, the Mercedes-Benz EQS. While being in the S-Class family certainly makes the EQS have more features and technology than other Mercedes-Benz models. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz EQS offers the EQS450+ variant with 329 hp power and rear-wheel drive, as well as the EQS580 4MATIC which has up to 516 hp power and all-wheel drive or AWD.

In the highest variant, the largest Mercedes-Benz electric-powered sedan can go from zero to 100 kph in just 4.1 seconds, that's such an impressive numbers for a big luxury sedan. Well with all the facilities and features equivalent to the S-Class models, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is priced at US $96,000 or approx Rp.1.4 billion in the United States market.

6. 2020 Mercedes-Benz EQV
Who has thought of making an electric-powered van? Yes, Mercedes-Benz. Well, this German automaker seeing the van as a quite popular model, that's makes it even more confident to introduce the Mercedes-Benz EQV, which is in the same family as the V-Class.
The Mercedes-Benz EQV capable to charge from 0-80% is claimed only take 45 minutes by using 110 kW DC fast charging. (Picture from: Mercedes-Benz)
The Mercedes-Benz EQV electric motor capable to produce 201 hp of power and 362 Nm of torque. Mercedes-Benz claims that its electric-powered van can travel up to 482 km on a single charge. Even charging from 0-80% is claimed only take 45 minutes by using 110 kW DC fast charging.

In our opinion (maybe you too), the Mercedes-Benz EQV is an attractive choice for the commercial transportation business, and in the United States market this EQV model priced at US $76,000 or equivalent to Rp.1.1 billion.
Well, the world's oldest car manufacturer from Germany has entered a new green era offered better quality of life, through all those Mercedes-Benz EQ Series above proves their seriousness in the development of environmentally friendly renewable energy and technology. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MERCEDES-BENZ | IDN-TMES | DESTEFANI.NET ]
