Toyota's iconic concept car in the 1970s

Toyota EX-7 is a two-passenger concept car built by Toyota and shown during the Tokyo Motor Show 1970. This concept car is an experiment to see how the look of a supercar built based on Toyota 7 race car.

Toyota EX-7 is also the fourth draft of a series of Toyota experimental concept car (which gave the prefix 'EX' on the concept car), and the car  equipped with 5.0-liter (310 cubic inch) middle V8 engine, similar to that carried Toyota 7-except the EX-7 does not have a turbocharger.

In addition, the Toyota 7 engine was able to burst the power of 800 bhp (600 kW), while the EX-7 only has a power of 450 PS (330 kW) for use on public roads. The engine combined with a manual transmission that is part of a transaxle system with double-wishbone independent suspension on all four wheels and ventilated disc brakes are used on both the front and rear.

The Toyota EX-7 exterior design has a unique look, with the front of the 'sharp', and beautifully flowing into the large front glass, where two fixed glass roof panel pinned to contribute to the light and airy look inside its cabin.

Two of the glass roof panels installed on the roof's top-hinged door, which can be lifted for access to the cabin. Interestingly, once the door is opened, the driver's seat to be pushed up to facilitate enter to the cabin of the iconic concept car.

Scientists developed the world's first cyber plant

A group of scientists from Linköping University in Sweden have developed the first cyber plants, creating both analog and digital circuits in the life of the Rose. This technology allows scientists to regulate growth and chemical processes in plants, as well as utilize photosynthesis to create new solar cells.

Swedish scientists added the polymer in the natural system of veins and leaf rosettes, from the polymer addition showed the possibility to make electrical components that resemble wires, transistors, and even elements of the screen.

The research team used highly conductive polymer, called PEDOT-S, to form the wiring in the interior of the xylem, the tissue that carries water around the plant. Cables assembled by exposing the cuttings of roses into the polymer solution, which is spread evenly throughout the plant, xylem layer and forming a conductive structure more than 5 cm (2 inches). Because the polymer does not completely fill the xylem, the plant's ability to carry water and nutrients around to be unlimited.

The full sap ions plant (charged molecules) is used by Rose to regulate growth and transportation energy. By using a cable and sap, both capable of creating an electrochemical transistor, changing the ionic signal generating electronic output. This transistor behaves almost exactly like those found in computer and telephone.

Scientists also permeates the leaves of plants with different polymers, other members of the PEDOT, which created the "pixels" around the Rose vessel. By sending electrochemical signals through the vessels, they are able to activate the pixels, change the colors on the leaves with a simple display, switch between light green to dark green.

Professor Magnus Berggren, the leader of the group of scientists who developed this technology, believes that the development of the electronics plant could have a major impact in understanding the plants better, and to develop integrated technologies such as photosynthesis-based fuel cells, bio-sensors, as well as devices that regulate growth and control the functions in plants.

"The expansion of our achievements now, I will find a combination of sensors and delivery devices for plant hormones become major consequences, so that we can sense and record the pattern of chemical signals in plants, and then set the physiology to affect overall growth, flowering time, etc. of the plant," says Professor Berggren.

New Yamaha MT-10 officially introduced

As quoted from the Asphalt and Rubber, the Yamaha MT-10 using a 998 cc engine derived from R1 crossplane. Yamaha claims that the machine is set to torque lower in the round mid range. Regarding how the amount of power released that machine, Yamaha still hide it.

Yamaha MT-10 offers three driving modes namely standard, A and B. Mode A offers low performance in the mid range round than standard mode. Mode B offers a milder throttle response so suitable for use in traffic conditions on slippery roads. In addition to the three driving modes naked sport bike is also equipped with a traction control system.

Its deltabox frame are made of aluminum which is also based on the R1 model. The brake uses disc dimension using 320 millimeters at the front wheels and added ABS. The aluminum rims, fuel tank capacity of 17 liters, and tangible LCD panel instrument.

One of Michelotti's iconic cars

Ferrari Meera S is a sports car prototype that was built by the famous Italian automotive designer, Giovanni Michelotti in 1982. Ferrari 'Speciale' which was just built one unit was built and named by the King of Arabia’s son, Prince Saoud in honor of his fiance.

Ferrari Meera S built based on the Ferrari 400i and has many 'unusual' features for the period, including dual air conditioning, electric sunroof, a unique 'space age' style instrument of Michelotti Technica, 4 wipers pinned up in its windows: front, side and rear.

Additionally, Meera S is also equipped with a TV camera that replaces the rearview mirror, a built-in radar, as well as the latest high-tech sound system. For its engine performance, Meera S is also equipped with a unique air exchange system, which is embedded in the door and other exterior parts.

Ferrari Meera S uses a V12 engine with a capacity of 4,823 cc, which is able to burst the power up to 340 hp at 6,400 rpm, with torque of 392 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The engine combined with 3-acceleration Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission system.

With a weight of 1,800 kg, Meera S can be driven up to a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). The car is also equipped with independent suspension, double wishbone and coil springs at the front and rear. Meera S has dimensions of length 4,810 mm, width 1,800 mm, height 1,315 mm with a 2,700 mm wheelbase.

Here it is Skreemr, the new Concorde supersonic jet rival

In the modern world everyone wants a bigger, more powerful, faster, and more everything. Here it is Skreemr, the supersonic jet more faster than the Concorde.

If previously Concorde has announced it will made Concorde 2.0 which has speed five times the speed of sound, now they already have a competitor. The Concorde's competitors considered great enough because Skreemr able to fly 10 times the speed of sound.

The supersonic jet is made by two Canadian engineers named Charles Bombardier and Ray Mattison. Bombardier has recently announced his vision to create a super fast jet plane can carry passengers from New York to London in just 30 minutes.

The Skreemr's super fast speed will be obtained from the four wings and two rockets on the back. The aircraft will take off using a magnetic rail system that is fired into the air or the electrical take off system.

Any system that will be used, Bombardier said that it takes a long time to make. He worried passengers will be exposed to the pressure force is too strong if the aircraft is launched at speed of Mach 10, or 10 times faster than sound speed.

Here it's the Ducati's selfish cruiser

In the international motorcycle exhibition currently taking place in Milan, Italy, the EICMA 2015, Ducati introduce several new motorcycle as well.

After officially presenting Scrambler Sixty2 which is a variant of the Scrambler, the renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer also launched the latest generation of their cruising-type motorcycles, called 'Ducati XDiavel'.

As reported by Jalopnik on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, mentioned with the addition of 'X' in the Diavel type has mean that Ducati tried to combine their distinctive character, which is a high-performance, with the casual concept like Harley-Davidson style.

The XDiavel motorcycle carries a two-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,262 cc and developed in accordance with the concept of their Testastretta. This engine has four valves and two spark plugs in each cylinder.

The power generated by the engine reaches 156 hp and 128 Nm of torque. And for the first time conducted by Ducati, the engine power is channeled to the rear wheels via a rubber belt, and not a chain.

A Sporty Tractor Concept by Pininfarina

Pininfarina is known as the Ferrari sportscar tuner company. In addition to modified sportscar, the Italian tuner is planning to create something new and different by designing a tractor.

As quoted from Autoevolution, Pininfarina explained that the first idea of ​​the results of a new cooperation with the Czech tractor manufacturer. This sporty tractor will be introduced for first time at Agritechnica exhibition in Hannover, Germany. The heavy equipment is still in the concept and named 'Zetor by Pininfarina'.

The exterior of the tractor is divided into two parts, the frame structure is painted black and the body are coated with Pininfarina typical sporty red paint. Using a large diameter tire with a rim that appear fresh after painted in matching body color.
Pininfarina still keep the information related to the power sources that will be used in Zetor. The Ferrari tuner only ensure that Zetor would be show with the new color and different of the heavy equipment design that already exist today.
