A less known German-made supercar named Lotec Sirius

Lesser KNOWN Previously, we've discussed about one of the monstrous powered cars in the 1990s called Lotec C1000 is made by a German automaker, Lotec GmbH. As we all knew the mentioned German automotive company founded by Kurt Lotterschmid in the 1962.
The Lotec Sirius prototype is built in 2001 by Lotec owner Kurt Lotterschmid and took 3 years to complete. (Picture from: Supercars.net)
By 1969 the firm started producing race cars, and turn their attention in modifying specialized for Porsches in 1975. In addition, the German company is also known as an aftermarket manufacturer for Mercedes-Benz, especially performance parts and aerodynamic components.

It wasn't until 1990 that Lotec made its own car after an United Arab Emirates oil entrepreneur specifically commissioned the firm to build a sports car for him. It was known later as the first car made by those German firm named the Lotec C1000 which was completed and launched in 1995. This car deserves to be called a supercar because it has a power of up to 1,000 hp came out of a Mercedes-Benz V8 engine with a capacity of 5,600 cc.
Inside the Lotec Sirius is featured with standard racing grade bucket seat with 3-points harnessing and circular-styled instrument panel and velour carpet cover are major attractions. (Picture from: Pinterest)
Then only in 2004 Lotec began to make a mass-produced supercar  named Lotec Sirius. As quoted of PistonHeads, the Sirius takes the rounded, homogenous style that inspired the Porsche 928 of the late 1970s and translates it into a mid-engined 21st century supercar. No surprise then that it looks more like a concept car than a run-of-the-mill supercar.
The Lotec Sirius takes the rounded, homogenous style that inspired the Porsche 928 of the late 1970s and translates it into a mid-engined 21st century supercar. (Picture from: Supercars.net)
Similar to its predecessor, the Lotec Sirius also has an a low curb weight advantage of only 1,280 kg. It's no wonder, due to the supercar is built around a carbon-fiber tub with tubular steel front and rear subframes, off which the powertrain and suspension are hung. The body panels are reinforced carbon-fiber, and both front and rear clamshells are hinged to open forwards, while the doors featured with Lamborghini's scissors opened styles.
The Lotec Sirius (in pictured re-designed model of 2009) is powered by a Mercedes-Benz V12 engine with a capacity of 5,987 cc, this is the same engine used by the Pagani Zonda. (Picture from: GridOto)
As a hyper performance vehicle, the Sirius takes care of standard luxury features like air conditioning and power steering. While inside the car also featured with standard racing grade bucket seat with 3-points harnessing and circular-styled instrument panel and velour carpet cover are major attractions.
The Lotec Sirius re-designed model of 2009 has significant changes than its prototype, as you can see on the sides air intakes and the B pillars look more slooping. (Picture from: WheelsAge)
It was powered by a Mercedes-Benz V12 engine with a capacity of 5,987 cc, this is the same engine used by the Pagani Zonda. By using such an engine, it capable to spit out a maximum power of 1,000 hp under standard conditions, or 1,200 hp when re-tuned.
The Lotec Sirius (in pictured re-designed model of 2009) body panels are reinforced carbon-fiber, and the doors featured with Lamborghini's scissors opened styles. (Picture from: GridOto)
So with such a combination of massive power and low curb weight, Lotec claims the maximum speed of the Sirius reaches 400 kph. In 2009, the German company also had ever announced a re-designed version of the Sirius for 2009, that changes some of the body work but retains the same motor and transmission as the previously existed model.

Although it is said that the Lotec Sirius supercar is mass-produced, with limited resources at hand, it would mean a maximum production of four cars a year. So at the time this Lotec's supercar is not exactly going to paint its rivals into a corner.
Until now it is unclear how many units have been officially made and sold. Regarding this, some say that only two Lotec Sirius units were ever produced from 2004 to the present. Does anyone here had heard other infos about this car? Feel free to share with us through the article's comment below.👌 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LOTEC | BORNRICH | WIKIPEDIA | WIKIWAND | SUPERCARS.NET | PISTONHEADS ]

The 1990s monstrous powered supercar You've never know before

Extreme ONES As many automotive enthusiasts said that the 1990s were a time when many capable concept cars emerged, which were later transformed into actual car figures in the real world. We also talked a lot about the cars that came from the 1990s.
The Lotec C1000 was launched in 1995. (Picture from: Supercars)
And one of them that we will discuss this time, ie the Lotec C1000. This supercar was launched in 1995, and initially owned by an UAE millionaire. And the mentioned above car story began; when there's a wealthy businessman from UAE who want to have the world's fastest road-legal car in 1990 contacted Lotec GmbH, a Germany company known for its Group 6 and Group C race cars to build those kind of car.
Front view of Lotec C1000. (Picture from: Supercars)
So for the C1000 project, he agreed to pay over US. $1 million for design and engineering, while for the constuction it costs over $1.2 million (total production cost was over $2.2 million). In short, this '90s unique monstrous powered car was worked on by the German auto company for almost 4 years ranging from 1991 to 1995. Then related to the name, where the letter of C stands for Carbon fiber, which is used for the supercar's body, so make its weighs only 1,080 kg and the number of 1000 stands for 1000 horsepower.

Furthermore when the car doors opened, its interior furnished with red bright leather shades, complete with three-points seatbelt attached each on two adjustable bucket seats. Then there's a black Alcantara-racing steering wheel while on the dashboard installed few instrument panels, gauges, switches, buttons and a compact-size LCD screen.
The interior is pretty basic, with the LCD screen displaying most of the stats. (Picture from: TopCarRating)
The only one supercar in the world is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 Mercedes-Benz engine coupled with the Garrett twin turbo chargers, so it can give off power to 1,000 hp. Then the monstrous engine power was sent to the rear wheels through a Hewland 6-speed transmission system and and 4 ram AP IMSA racing brakes.
The Lotec C1000 has very impressive performance figures, such as it can be accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of up to 431 kph (268 mph).
Rear left side view of Lotec C1000. (Picture from: TopCarRating)
According to HotCars, the Lotus C1000’s design was simply wild for its era. It featured an exterior style that was greatly influenced by the science of aeronautics, with a handful of components adopted from sporting race cars. The C1000 is heavily raked, with a relatively low height and an unusual headlamp layout.
As quoted of Motor1, the fascinating two-door coupe was up for grabs in the United States for a cool $650,000. However, that was roughly seven years ago, back when the odometer was showing merely 1,600 miles (2,576 kilometers) on the clock. Does anyone here knows the car's price numbers today? Feel free to share with us through the article's comment below.👌 *** [EKA [26012014] | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LOTEC | SUPERCARS.NET | TOPCARRATING | MOTOR1 | HOTCARS ]

The most mysterious and strange supercar

Rare ONES Not all the best supercar, manufactured by well-known brands. In fact, some of the best supercars created by the mysterious and bizarre brands or tuners from Europe or the United States. One of them is the Isdera Commendatore 112i, a supercar that was born two decades ago, called mysterious and strange because it only has some pictures that had been documented, and only one unit prototype was successfully created.
The Isdera Commendatore 112i is the fruit of thought of Eberhard Schulz and his son back in the 1993. (Picture from: ConceptCarz)
Isdera AG (Ingenieurbüro für Styling) itself is a small automotive company based in Leonberg (before move to Hildesheim), Germany, although not as big as the Bugatti or Lamborghini, Isdera has managed to create a stir (though not big enough) in the world of supercars in the 1990s.

Well in 1993, the mentioned German auto company is launched the Isdera Commendatore 112i, and known as the fruit of thought of the lead engineer and owner of Isdera, Eberhard Schulz and his son. The plans, each unit of the Commendatore 112i to be sold at a price of $450,000 (those price numbers were very high at that time).
For its design, Isdera designed the Commendatore 112i similar to the Porsche 917, perhaps because of the rear overhang and its long tail. (Picture from: ConceptCarz)
Unfortunately, Isdera itself bankrupt later, after only 1 unit Commendatore (an Italian word means Commander) were successfully produced by Schulz and his son.😢 For its design, the automaker designed the Commendatore 112i similar to the Porsche 917, perhaps because of the rear overhang and its long tail.
Left side view of 1993 Isdera Commendatore 112i with all gull-wings doors opened. (Picture from: ConceptCarz)
Commendatore 112i has a weight just 1,450 kg and can accelerate from 0-96 kph in just 4.7 seconds, and has topspeed about 342 kph. This is thanks to the performance of a V12 engine of Mercedes-Benz with a capacity of 6,000 cc, which 'only' capable of producing about 402 hp (some said that's small figure for a V12 engine) and combined with 6 speed manual transmission system.
Rear side view of 1993 Isdera Commendatore 112i is powered by a V12 6,000 cc engine of Mercedes-Benz coupled with a 6 speed manual transmission system. (Picture from: ConceptCarz)
But the main advantages of the Commendatore is the car's technology, which has spent up to €4 million for its RnD. Like 2 pairs of gull-wing door type, its chassis is able to go up and down depending on the speed with an electronic system, and the automatic air brake, and at the time is said the first in the world.
As We mentioned earlier, that the Isdera Commendatore 112i was never released to the public. The prototype itself is only one unit, which has been drove by Schulz as far as 3,000 miles. This car ever want to sale at a fantastic price! $3 million!  (Although not purchased by anyone.) Now reportedly, the Isdera Commendatore 112i parked somewhere in Berne, Switzerland. Have You ever seen the car lately?😎 *** [EKA [26082016] | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CONCEPTCARZ ]

Huracán Tecnica is the latest V10 raging bull for the streets

~Raging Bull~ Since it was first introduced in 2014, the Lamborghini Huracán, otherwise known as the "Baby Lambo" has been transformed into several variants. Starting from the LP610-4, LP580-2, Performante, EVO, EVO RWD, and STO (Super Trofeo Omologato).
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica is the latest V10 engined variant of Huracán not only for the tracks, but ready to hit the streets too. (Picture from: GridOto)
It seems that Lamborghini Automobili still hasn't run out of ideas to spawn a new variant of the Huracán, and on April 12, 2022, the Italian raging bull logoed automaker has released a new variant named the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica. Previously, the mentioned car above was rumored to be launched under the name JV Stradale and is also said to be a 'tame version' of the Huracán STO.

However, later the name eliminated by itself after the automaker applied for a trademark in the name "Huracán Tecnica" (along with "Huracán Sterrato") in December 2021 as a sign for the new variant of the V10 supercar.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica has a unique front bumper inspired by the Terzo Millennio EV designs, with larger openings than those of the Evo, integrated aerodynamic elements and a larger front splitter. (Picture from: GridOto)
This was further strengthened when one of the cars of this model was caught red-handed doing intensive testing during winter in Northern Europe. This new version of the Huracán will be easy to recognize thanks to its front bumper inspired by the design of the Terzo Millennio, with larger openings than those of the Evo, integrated aerodynamic elements and a larger front splitter.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica uses a body kit that looks more like the Huracán Performante with a new diffuser, rear spoiler and alloy wheels. (Picture from: Nenroll-Nenroll)
And from what it looks, the Huracán Tecnica uses a body kit that looks more like the Huracán Performante with a new diffuser, rear spoiler and alloy wheels. Whila at the rear, there is a new raised wing that, despite being smaller than the STO, helps to considerably increase downforce. There’s also a new vertical rear window applied to the Tecnica that looks out onto a new carbon fiber engine cover to replace the old sloping window that did both.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica is  featured with some of the luminous interior accents that are available, the space is driver-focused and the materials are generally fantastic. (Picture from: GridOto)
Furthermore, the Huracán Tecnica is said to share specifications with the Huracán STO, meaning a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that produces 631 hp and 565 Nm of torque then channeled to drive its rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. In addition, this model will likely not intends only on the racing track like the STO, also will retain the carbon-ceramic brakes and get a different suspension setup.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica has a new raised wing that, despite being smaller than the STO, helps to considerably increase downforce. (Picture from: CarBuzz)
And to support the performance of the latest Huracán Tecnica, the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based automaker embeds several features. One of them is the rear-wheel steering feature which is an advanced steering wheel aims to improve driving stability and fun depending on the selected driving mode.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that produces 631 hp and 565 Nm of torque then channeled to drive its rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. (Picture from: CarBuzz)
For example, in STRADA mode, the rear-wheel steering system of the Huracan Tecnica will provide the best maneuverability on the road. But if the driver chooses SPORT mode, this steering system will help the driver to oversteer for drifting. Then when the driver is on the track using CORSA mode, this steering system helps provide precise control for the driver.
The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica could a limited edition like the Huracán STO or a regular variant to replace the discontinued Huracán Performante. Eventually, Huracán Tecnica itself is not the last variant because reportedly there is one ultimate variant of the Huracán before its successor is released in 2024. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LAMBORGHINI | NENROLL-NENROLL | CARBUZZ | ]
