Is this the most expensive car in the world today?

Bugatti also has a surprise when appears at the Geneva Motor Show 2019. It is known that the French hypercar manufacturer carries their special supercar with an exorbitant price tag, and only produced one unit.

This car is named Bugatti La Voiture Noir which successfully became a Bugatti star at one of the biggest automotive exhibitions in the world. La Voiture Noir is French which means 'The Black Car,' it turns out to have a price tag of around US. $12.5 million, equivalent to Rp.176.5 billion (off the road). If prices are combined with taxes, the total price will reach US. $18.9 million or equivalent to Rp.267 billion. Wow ...!

The concept of presenting La Voiture Noir originated from the intention of the French premium auto manufacturer to reminisce with one of their legendary Bugatti car of the 30s, namely Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic or known as the Bugatti Atlantic Coupe. Well, this reincarnation moment also coincides with the celebration of 110 years of Bugatti's existence in the world automotive industry.

The car's powertrain is using the same engine as the Bugatti Chiron Sport considering that it still uses the same base. Yes, it's still relying on a 816 cc W16 configured drive mechanics that can strike the power of 1,499 horsepower and 1,599 Nm of torque.

Since this is a special car, there are some differences between La Voiture Noir and Chiron. Starting from the side of La Voiture Noir, it does not seem to have the shape of a C-type door that is a characteristic of Bugatti cars. The difference also lies in the front and rear of the car, where on the back of La Voiture Noir has six exhaust pipes, just like its grandfather the Atlantic Coupe which also has six exhaust pipes.

For those of you who are interested in this car and feel enough money to have it, but you probably have to bite your fingers and be patient. Because this car has reportedly been owned, and has become a collection of former Volkswagen boss, Ferdinand Piech.
While the status of La Voiture Noir as the most expensive car on earth might still be debated by many among the world's automotive lovers. Considering last year, the rival British premium automotive company Rolls-Royce released the latest variant called Rolls-Royce Sweptail which is priced at a price of US. $13 million. So which car is entitled to the status of the most expensive car in the world? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOCAR]

The most powered electric supercars from Italy

If a decade ago, the majority of people might find it difficult to imagine that electric cars could compete with gasoline-powered supercars. But now, you might have heard about the Rimac C Two or the Audi PB18 e-tron. And at the beginning of 2018, an Italian auto design company whose services have long been used by Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Maserati had revealed plans to start working on an extraordinary electric supercar.
Pininfarina Battista has been debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2019. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ThuMcn)
Yes, at that time, those future supercar creation was introduced with the codename PF0 (or PF-Zero). And at the end of 2018, Automobili Pininfarina announced its official name ie Pininfarina Battista.

Those name was inspired by the company founder, Battista 'Pinin' Farina. "Battista is a future hypercar, inspired by past legends" said Michael Perschke, executive director of Automobili Pininfarina as reported by Euronews.

And recently, those Italian auto design company launched the Pininfarina Battista electric car at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show exhibition which took place in early March. And Pininfarina Battista is also claimed to be one of the fastest cars in the world, even when compared to today conventional combustion engined supercars. This is certainly not surprising because Pininfarina Battista is noted to have a maximum speed above 350 kilometers per hour.
Pininfarina Battista is powered by four electric motors (one for each wheel), producing a combined output of 1,900 hp and 2,300 Nm of torque. (Picture from: https://cnb.cx/2H4focx)
Pininfarina Battista is reinforced with 4 remarkable electric motors that distribute the power independently and directly to all wheels with the ability to torque vectoring, so as to be capable of spraying about 1,900 hp of power and torque of 2,300 Nm. These numbers turns out to be two times greater than the engine power of this year's F1 racing car. And also on this Pininfarina super car has a T-shaped battery, which is located in the middle of the car and stretches to the back of the driver's seat that functions to store electric power.

Those powertrain made by a Croatian company named Supercar Rimac was then tied intact on a carbon fiber monocoque, which is supported by carbon fiber body panel and equipped with aluminum in front and a crash structure at rear. The design was created as a tribute to the past Pininfarina design models such as Cisitalia 202, Ferrari Dino Bernelitta Speciale, Ferrari Modulo and the Sintesi concept car which became the flagship car of his day.

Pininfarina claims Battista can accelerate from a standstill to a speed of 300 kph in under 12 seconds. The speed of 100 kph can be reached in less than two seconds. Besides that the company stated that in one single battery charging, Battista was able to explore more than 450 kilometers. Uniquely, Battista will use five different drive modes, so that it can produce quite different car sounds. Indeed not surprising, this car was deliberately designed to be an electric car with super specifications as a serious contender for the Bugatti Chiron.

Then in addition to the powertrain and lightweight body, what are the other components that support Battista so that it can drive fast on the road? Yes, with the use of Pirelli tires combined with 21-inch alloy wheels. Then by using the braking system with a six pinston caliper made from 15.4-inch carbon ceramic. There is also an active rear wing that functions as an air brake.

In the interior, there are two special sporty benches, embellished with anodized aluminum trims, genuine leather layered and optional carbon fiber material. A variety of interesting features to captivate the hearts of the world's super car enthusiasts. With this fairly personal design, that makes no similar car made by Pininfarina in Cambiano Italy.
The plan is that Pininfarina Battista will go on sale in 2020 with only 150 units will be produced and sold at a price estimated at between US $ 2 million and US $ 2.5 million. A total of 50 cars are allocated to the United States, 50 to Europe and 50 to the Middle East and Asia. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CAR MAGAZINE | AUTOEXPRESS]

Here it is the Ferrari F8 Tributo, a replacement of 488 GTB

Ferrari finally issued official information about the latest model that will be taken at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show, next week. It named the Ferrari F8 Tributo, this model will replace the 488 GTB with the latest V8 engine.

Its 3,902 cc twin turbo engine is said able to emit power of 710 hp at 8,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm. This engine was made by Ferrari to satisfy the speed enthusiast because it is able to move from rest to a speed of 100 kph in 2.9 seconds.

Ferrari revealed Tributo only weighs 1,330 kilograms with lighter model options that can be given to consumers who want a faster model. Lightweight aluminum frames are more chosen than using carbon fiber used for the rigidity of this model.
The fully redesigned interior leaves little doubt about this car's intentions to be driven hard. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ELnbtK)
About the design of the vehicle, Ferrari gave it to their mainstay design house, the Ferrari Centro Stile. And the 488 GTB style is still felt by looking at the aerodynamic side.

Ferrari makes this car ready to attack by providing an air duct on the front that increases the compressive force and airflow towards the cabin. Large air intakes are placed for the cooling process on the radiator and ceramic carbon braking system.
The S-Duct vented hood looks terrific. The whole car looks terrific. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2XBXOSg)
Next, the LED headlight is a concern on the front side. For the rear of the double-rounded stoplamp and small wings, it reminds this car of the legendary F40 design.
The vented engine cover will be one of the F8 Tributo's signature design elements. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ELnbtK)
Additional two exhausts on the rear that are paired with aero scoop make this car look aggressive. The design in this section resembles the previous 488 model.
Go inside, the design is very driver-oriented. An analog tachometer is placed in the center using the TFT screen. Large screens like the Lusso and Portofino GTC4 models are not found on this model.

Ferrari revealed this model will be sold later in the year, so we’ll have to wait to see if the F8 can defeat another mighty supercar such as McLaren, etc. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | FERRARI | NEW ATLAS]

A Bulgarian super insane electric-powered car

It seems that now not only Tesla or Rimac will produce electric hypercars. But now there is an automotive manufacturer from Bulgaria named Alieno also preparing an electric-powered hypercar concept that promises the most savage power ever.
All-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar promising super insane power up to 5,221 hp. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2RaAyuq)
As reported by Carscoops, Alieno is a Bulgarian company that was founded in 2015, and the Alieno word itself is an Italian word that refers to an alien. And the company is also said wants to rival Lamborghini's success. And its logo at glance similar to the Lambo logo that is shaped like a shield, but by showing the face of an alien instead a raging bull.

Back to the electric hypercar, the Bulgarian company even claims that their first hypercar called Alieno Arcanum, will have a performance exceeding the Devel Sixteen, a Dubai-made hypercar with a 12,300 cc, V16 engine that can spout power up to 5,007 horsepower.

In the company release as quoted by Jalopnik, Alieno's CEO, Ahmed Merchev said that they have a mission to create a hypercar with alien technology from the future for the present. The alien technology is a representation of the ADAS (Advanced driver-Assistance system) system, which is a set of systems that are the main features to guide each driver so they can improve driving skills and explore the overall potential of this hypercar.
Left side view of all-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2rMDnTZ)
There are 4 variants currently being worked on by Alieno today, the first model is called RP2 (RP is short for Raw Power) which has power of 2,610 hp and 4,440 Nm of torque, the second model RP3 has up to 3,842 hp and 5,919 Nm of torque, then the third RP4 model which has a power of 4,351 hp and 7,400 Nm of torque, while the latest RP5 model is predicted to be a whiz model that promises bursts of power up to 5,221 hp and 8,799 Nm of torque with a top speed of 487 km/h or approx 303 mph. W..O..W!

The power above 5,000 horsepower is a series of fantastic power numbers. And of course by one electric motor definitely will not be able to spew that much power. For this reason Alieno put 6 electric motors on each wheel so that a total of 24 electric motors were installed in this hypercar.
Top view of all-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2SdpBVZ)
The ability of each electric motor can switch to one another for efficiency or cooling. Even if you want all-wheel drive to function to produce the gargantuan system, which is able to distribute all the strength of the front wheels or rear wheels.

By using an 800 volt battery system, which can be used for high energy and made from lithium polymer graphere cells and a supercapacitor. And it has a varied size, between 60 to 180 kWh, which is claimed to make this hypercar run as far as 634 miles or 1,020 km with the full-charged battery condition.

To be able to make this hypercar speeding like the wind, the body structure and frame are built by using carbon fiber material while the chassis is reinforced with kevlar. So it is not surprising that this hypercar has a fairly light weight which is only around 1,619 kg.

Then the shape, curve of the body even made in such a way that is similar to the Lamborghini Aventador, and then added the big-sized rear spoiler to maximize aerodynamics and downforces. The Alieno Arcanum car performance is also supported by robotic suspension, double wishbones, pushrods, adjustable anti-roll bars, brake devices with hydraulic systems, and others.

Then each variant will be offered 3 modification options, namely STR (Street), TRC (Track), and RCE (Race). Alieno also said that they could prepare a special variant to take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in the LMP1 category, if regulation allows the electric cars to compete in those racing event.

Another thing that makes this Bulgarian land jet become special is where each unit is assembled by using human hands, aka hand made, while other supporting components or drivetrains are produced by themselves at their factory in Bulgaria.
At present, Alieno Arcanum hypercar can be ordered at prices ranging from €750 thousand - €1.5 million (around Rp.12.6 billion - Rp.25.2 billion). Are you interested in having it? If yes, don't forget to check it out and enlisting your order on  the company sites.

But so far, many parties have doubts about the existence of this Bulgarian hypercar project, but better for us to wait when this hypercar is released if it is really being to produce. There is no loss, if we'll be patient a moment. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ALIENO | NEWATLAS | CARSCOOPS | JALOPNIK]
