Here's she is Avanti's spiritual successor

Can anyone remember DC Avanti? Well, those DC Design-made coupe car that put India on the world's sports car industry map a few years ago, now it has a spiritual successor in the form of DC Design TCA. The name TCA used here stands for Titanium, Carbon and Aluminum, and this new coupe has debuted at the 2018 Auto Expo held on Februari 2018.

This car was built on Avanti's basis, but the platform underwent significant changes, making the new car model was longer and wider. Speaking of styling, Dilip Chhabria the designer said that he took inspiration from Ferrari LaFerrari and Pagani Zonda when drawing TCAs, although the front of the car will remind us of the Zenvo ST1, and the rear looks a bit of an Acura NSX feel.

If DC Avanti carries a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine, and this TCA sports car now uses a naturally aspirated V6 engine with a capacity of 3.8 liters that can produce power of 320 hp. And this also means the power is 70 hp bigger than its predecessor.

With the power amount as mentioned above, it can make this mid-engined sports car accelerate from rest to 100 km/h claimed to only take 4.5 seconds. But unfortunately the top speed itself has not been disclosed, but TCA reportedly comes with a top speed limiter programmed to be active at a speed of 200 km/h. (We assumed, this is to adjust to the road conditions in India).

And if Avanti is available with an option of 6-speed manual gearboxes and homemade automated gearboxes, while the TCA has been engineered by using a newly developed 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Because this is a special edition car, so these sports car will be built as many as 299 units and sells it with a price tag of around US. $61,000. Reportedly, there're 60 units have been sold, meanwhile deliveries will commence in October this year.

Another hybrid supercar from Uncle Sam

In this world a lot of automotive manufacturers who arguably do not have a large production scale. But that does not mean they can not create a sophisticated and fast car. Just look at some manufacturers who are not famous, like Aria.
An American-made hybrid supercar named Aria FXE shown at 2017 LA Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LX7wZu)
Indeed, the name of Aria is not so well known among automotive lovers. Understandably these California-based automotive company is more moves and works behind the scenes.

Noted, that they took part in building some concept cars such as Ford Interceptor and KIA GT4 Stinger. They also assisted an automotive design house named Singer when modifying the Porsche 911. And Aria as a specialist limited edition and concept cars manufacturer is also the design of Elon Musk's electric cars, ie. Tesla Model S.
Front three quarter view of Aria FXE. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LFrBXf)
Finally, they ventured to make their own car that was given the name of Aria Fast Eddy (a strange name for a car?) And at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2017, they brought and shown their newest product, but its strange name of 'Fast Eddy' then removed and changed to Aria FXE

According to their official website, the car offered were two models ie. Aria FE and FXE. The difference between the two models only lies in the composition of the engine, if the FXE model uses conventional engines and electric motors plus a spoiler at rear, while the FE model there is no electric motors and spoiler.
Interior view of Aria FXE. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2uRIzIg)
As quoted from Carscoops, this supercar is offered with conventional configuration and also hybrid. The conventional configured car equipped with a V8 engine with a capacity of 6,200 cc, but not mentioned how the amount of power that can be generated by it. But it can be ascertained that the engine power is channeled to the rear wheels through a 7 speed dual clutch transmission system.

Then if choosing a hybrid configuration (FXE), it still use the same engine to drive the rear wheels and coupled with a pair of electric motors for the front wheels. The combination of conventional engine and electric motors are able to provide power of 1,150 horsepower and torque of 1.784 Nm.
Rear three quarter view of Aria FXE. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LFrBXf)
Aria claimed that their supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h within 2.7 seconds. The maximum speed can be reach 337 km/h. One of the secrets that can make these supercar bolted fast is the use carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Also supported by several panels made of carbon fiber and also titanium.
Looking at the design will also seen be a bit much similar to the Corvette designed by Ed Taylor. This is not surprising, because his son, Charles Taylor who has doing further development and make it a concept car for Aria.

But the company has not yet announced the price for one unit of Aria FXE. It's just notified this fast car will only be produced 400 units and can be ordered with the specifications in accordance with the buyer wishes (bespoke) starting on 2019. If you are interested in buying it, and hurry up register you orders at the Aria FXE official website. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ARIA FXE | CARSCOOPS | TECHBLOG | MOTORING RESEARCH]

By this momment, we look forward could be continued filling these virtual spaces with useful information for all of us and we hope also you can be supported us continously. A great pleasure to be with you along the way and Thank You.

Unique ONES - In the vast world of automotive excellence, the name ATS might not ring a bell for many. However, this Italian automaker, formally known as "Automobili Turismo e Sport," has an intriguing history that traces back to 1961. The company was brought to life by two former Ferrari engineers, Carlo Chiti and Giotto Bizzarrini, who shared a bold vision. Their ambition was clear: to create a brand that could rival Ferrari itself, not just in sports car production but also on the fierce tracks of Formula 1.

In 1963, during the prestigious Paris Motor Show, ATS made a significant mark by unveiling the ATS 2500 GT. This car quickly became the center of attention, not just because of its sleek design but because it was the first Italian mid-engine supercar—a groundbreaking feat that predated the iconic Lamborghini Miura by three years. Despite the buzz it created, the ATS 2500 GT project was short-lived, with only 12 units ever produced. By 1964, the company had to close its doors, marking the end of an ambitious dream.

Decades later, the ATS name resurfaced, bringing with it a sense of nostalgia and a fresh vision for the future. The revival of ATS was marked by the introduction of the ATS GT, a modern supercar that pays homage to the legendary 2500 GT. This limited-edition car, with only 12 units planned for production, echoes the exclusivity of its predecessor. However, it offers much more than just a nod to the past—it represents a bold step forward in automotive innovation.

The design of the ATS GT draws heavily from the 1963 2500 GTS, blending classic inspiration with modern aesthetics. Emanuele Bomboi, the talented designer behind the GT, has infused his extensive experience from Fiat and Bertone into this masterpiece. The result is a supercar that is not only visually striking but also built to perform. The extensive use of carbon fiber in both the body and chassis ensures that the car remains lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, with a total weight of just 1,300 kg.

Stepping inside the ATS GT reveals a cabin that marries advanced technology with luxurious comfort. A thin TFT screen with an aluminum frame provides vital information, while a central touch screen offers control over various functions, including wireless smartphone charging. The "Prima Orchestra" hi-fi audio system further enhances the driving experience with its exceptional sound quality.

Underneath its sleek exterior, the ATS GT houses a powerful 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This combination delivers an impressive 650 horsepower, propelling the car from 0 to 100 kph in just 3 seconds. For those seeking even more power, ATS offers an upgrade package that boosts the engine's output to 700 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. With these enhancements, the car can reach a top speed of 331 kph.

Driving the ATS GT is an exhilarating experience, thanks to its three distinct driving modes: Viaggio for everyday roads, Sport for a more dynamic feel, and Corsa for the ultimate track performance. In Corsa mode, the car's engine and suspension settings are optimized for aggressive driving, while the instrument display mimics the data-rich screens found in Formula One cars.

The car's performance is further enhanced by its braking system. Equipped with Brembo brake calipers, the ATS GT ensures maximum stopping power. The inclusion of an air brake at the rear adds to the car's stability and braking efficiency, particularly at high speeds.
While the ATS GT's price remains undisclosed, it is expected to be around £1 million, reflecting its exclusivity and advanced engineering. This figure translates to approximately Rp.17.6 billion, making it a prized possession for any collector or enthusiast.

The ATS GT is more than just a car; it is a testament to the enduring legacy of a brand that dared to dream big. With its rich history and forward-thinking design, ATS has once again captured the imagination of the automotive world. Each of the 12 units of this remarkable car will not only carry the legacy of its predecessor but will also pave the way for the future of supercars. *** [EKA [03082018] | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORING RESEARCH | AUTOCAR | CARMAGAZINE | CONCEPTCARZ ]

Wow, Rimac C_Two has a nearly 2,000 hp of power!

One of the world's supercar manufacturer named Rimac Automobili seems to want to go back to test their ability to remake their succsessful story once again. Yes, after success with the Rimac Concept One, this time the Croatian manufacturer has launched their new supercar named Rimac Concept Two (C_Two) at 2018 Geneva Motor Show held in March 2018 ago.
2018 Rimac C_Two has debuted at 2018 Geneva Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2OsORGx)
This car received a very enthusiastic response from the automotive lovers who attended the exhibition, because of its aggressive shape and great power too. The Croatian supercar has a much more powerful specs than its predecessor Concept One which incidentally has been able to beat many of conventional or hybrid-powered supercars/hypercars.
Front view of 2018 Rimac C_Two. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2OsORGx)
Rimac C Two is designed by using 4 electric motors (and assisted by software to adjust its vector torque) to drive each tire paired with 1 gearbox in front and a pair of gearboxes in the rear complete with the cooling system. This configuration allows it to have instant high torque so that the car is able to accelerate simultaneously to reach top speeds as well.

When first introduced, Rimac C_Two has a very brutal power, which is almost 2,000 hp, exactly 1,914 hp. Like the Concept One, this car will most likely get upgraded until the final version. With such power and torque of 2,300 Nm, Rimac C_Two can accelerate from 0-100 kph for 1.85 seconds only! Can you imagined, how fast is this car?
Interior view of 2018 Rimac C_Two. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2OsORGx)
Moreover, when the gas pedal is kept pressed, then the top speed that can be achieved is 412 kph. This increasingly makes the various circles of automotive activists optimists that the future of electric cars, especially hypercars looks very bright.

This car is designed such as a mid-engined supercar in general and adopts some other features, such as a pair of 'scissors' doors type with fairly simple cabin, there are only some panels made from carbon fiber and LCD for the indicator. The car's electrical system is operated by a lithium nickel manganese battery that can supply the power of 120 kWh.
Rear-right side view of 2018 Rimac C_Two. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2OsORGx)
When Rimac Concept One previously only produced and sold as many as 8 units only. It was different with Rimac C_Two is planned to be made as many as 150 units and projected to penetrate the United States homogeneous automotive market.

This is due to the success factor of the previous model and investor support that makes Rimac able to increase the number of employees and the factory. Reportedly, Rimac has been doubled the number of employees from 150 people to about 300 people. Uniquely most Rimac employees have an average age of 30 years, such as the company founder, Mate Rimac.
But unfortunately, until now the price of Rimac C_Two itself has not been officially announced by the manufacturer. But reportedly this car has a price doubled from its predecessor car is worth €1.7 million or about Rp.28.7 billion. Are there anyone interested to buy and have it? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RIMAC AUTOMOBILI | AUTAOCAR]
