Indeed, the name of Aria is not so well known among automotive lovers. Understandably these California-based automotive company is more moves and works behind the scenes.

Noted, that they took part in building some concept cars such as Ford Interceptor and KIA GT4 Stinger. They also assisted an automotive design house named Singer when modifying the Porsche 911. And Aria as a specialist limited edition and concept cars manufacturer is also the design of Elon Musk's electric cars, ie. Tesla Model S.

Finally, they ventured to make their own car that was given the name of Aria Fast Eddy (a strange name for a car?) And at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2017, they brought and shown their newest product, but its strange name of 'Fast Eddy' then removed and changed to Aria FXE

According to their official website, the car offered were two models ie. Aria FE and FXE. The difference between the two models only lies in the composition of the engine, if the FXE model uses conventional engines and electric motors plus a spoiler at rear, while the FE model there is no electric motors and spoiler.

As quoted from Carscoops, this supercar is offered with conventional configuration and also hybrid. The conventional configured car equipped with a V8 engine with a capacity of 6,200 cc, but not mentioned how the amount of power that can be generated by it. But it can be ascertained that the engine power is channeled to the rear wheels through a 7 speed dual clutch transmission system.

Then if choosing a hybrid configuration (FXE), it still use the same engine to drive the rear wheels and coupled with a pair of electric motors for the front wheels. The combination of conventional engine and electric motors are able to provide power of 1,150 horsepower and torque of 1.784 Nm.

Aria claimed that their supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h within 2.7 seconds. The maximum speed can be reach 337 km/h. One of the secrets that can make these supercar bolted fast is the use carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Also supported by several panels made of carbon fiber and also titanium.
Looking at the design will also seen be a bit much similar to the Corvette designed by Ed Taylor. This is not surprising, because his son, Charles Taylor who has doing further development and make it a concept car for Aria.

But the company has not yet announced the price for one unit of Aria FXE. It's just notified this fast car will only be produced 400 units and can be ordered with the specifications in accordance with the buyer wishes (bespoke) starting on 2019. If you are interested in buying it, and hurry up register you orders at the Aria FXE official website. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ARIA FXE | CARSCOOPS | TECHBLOG | MOTORING RESEARCH]
