Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo Concept

Since 2013, Polyphony Digital a renowned games developer made an innovative pioneer program called Vision Gran Turismo that enabled the automotive companies to create their fantasy cars later featured in the Gran Turismo Sport video games.

When the car model is made in true size and then exhibited at an international automotive exhibition, such as the concept cars of Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, and others.

Some time ago (in September 2017) a famous automotive design house named Zagato also did not want to miss, they also have released a design of Vision Gran Turismo concept car, and these car design has undergone its digital debut in the Gran Turismo Sport game on the PlayStation 4 platform on October 2017.

The concept car is named Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo Concept because the design of this car is inspired by the great Italian grand tourer car named IsoRivolta GT or Iso Grivo which was released in the early 1960s.

The car design also shows that the engine is placed in the middle, and of course, this is in stark contrast with the original Iso Rivolta grand tourer who put the engine on the front. As quoted by Motor Authority, this car design was presented directly by the CEO of the Zagato, which also revealed that they will soon release a hardcore version of this car.

Andrea Zagato also said, although the Vision Gran Turismo only a game on the Sony PlayStation platform, but still be used to design a real car. Technical details of Zagato IsoRivolta have not been revealed yet but he also said that the true GT needs a very powerful engine, this at once implies that the performance of this car will be very fierce.

As quoted by IsoRivolta, the Zagato IsoRivolta Vision Gran Turismo is power by a Callaway Corvette powertrain. The 6.2 liter V8 produces a power output of 997 hp which is fed to the rear wheels. The sheer power means a top speed of 365 kph (227 mph) is possible with a 0 to 100 kph time of just 2.7 seconds. It weighs just 1,129 kg (2,489 lbs) and uses a ten-speed sequential gearbox system. 

Although this car will never enter the production line.
