If the Zonda was made a decade sooner in the '80s

Pagani Zonda supercar is born by Pagani, the Italian manufacturer. Pagani founded by ex-employees of Lamborghini named Horacio Pagani and the Zonda supercar was first launched in 1999. Now what would happen if one of the fastest cars in the world was designed with the '80s style?
This would happen if one of the Pagani Zonda was designed with the 1980s style. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1dJQFK)
As quoted of Behance.net, a Turkish digital designer named Oguz Spiahioglu was making the car rendering design that shows what kind of Pagani Zonda, if Pagani gave birth this supercar a decade sooner. Like entering a time machine, the retro style result is very unique. Coupled with the neon colors are known as the color trend at the time, Zonda still look cool as it is today.

One of the typical design of the cars in the '80s was box-shaped design. Well, that characteristic is also shown by the designer on some body line of Zonda, even in the form of front and rear lights as well as turn signal lights. Very retro.
The total change can be seen on the lamp box-shaped design. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1dJQFK)
In addition to the box-shaped design, other characteristics is the wheels in deep dish style and two-tone color on the body. For those of you who often play an arcade racing game with a coin in the 80-90s era or watch the old tv series like 'Miami Vice', surely familiar with the design of a car like this.

One characteristic of the modern Zonda repudiated by the designer on the design of this car is a carbon fiber material and leaf-style rearview. As we all know that carbon fiber is the main material of Pagani Zonda.
Which is more cool, the Zonda with the style of 1980s or the current version? What do you think? (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1dJO2S)
Pagani Zonda production was discontinued in 2011. There are two types of the car offered, ie the coupe and roadster. The initial design concept of this uniquely shaped supercar was done by the legendary F1 racer named Juan Manuel Fangio. Even Zonda almost named as Fangio F1 in order to honor the Argentine legendary racer who died in 1995.
If Horacio Pagani spawned these unique Zonda a decade sooner with cool form like this, it is not possible evolution of modern design will be much more interesting than its form now. What do you think? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BEHANCE]

10 Rarest Flowers in the Worls (Part-2)

Certainly to classify the top ten most rare flowers wasn’t easy especially since, according to scientists, more than 270,000 types of flowers exist (which doesn’t include 10 to 15% of the flowers have not been classified in various remote regions of the world).  Of those that are rare, here are not only the top ten rarest flowers, but the ten most interesting and unquestionably stories. Here's the second part;

5. Parrot's Beak (Lotus berthelotii)
This flower is classified as a very rare species since 1884, and is believed to have become extinct in the wild, though some people believe it might still be alive. This plant comes from the Canary Islands. In 2008, the experiments have been conducted to see if the flowers named latin Lotus berthelotii can find new pollinators, but so far none of these experiments have been successful.

4. The Jade Vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys)
Jade Vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys) grow the Philippines and has attractive colors, namely blue-green like the claw-shaped flowers (or like banana?). The flowers are pollinated by bats that hang upside down while drinking nectar. This flower is now increasingly rare, hardly seen in the wild and are believed to be threatened by deforestation in the Philippines.

3. Gibraltar Campion (Silene tomentosa)
The flower with the scientific name Silene tomentosa only found in Gibraltar. Campion once thought to be extinct by the scientific community in 1992, when all traces of these plants disappeared.

Then in 1994, a single specimen was found by a climber on a high cliff in Gibraltar. This discovery immediately bred in the Millennium Seed Bank and now is now growing in the Almeda Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, as well as at the Royal Botanic Gardens, London.

2. Red Middlemist (Middlemist kamelia)
This plant is probably the rarest flowering plants in the world because there are only two samples in the world. One of them can be found in a park in New Zealand and the other located at a greenhouse in the UK. This plant was originally brought to the UK from China by John Middlemist in 1804.

Unfortunately since then, the plants were extinct in China, but it grown in the UK now and remained breeding for years and recently its beautiful flowers began bloomed. It has a bright pink colored flower and looks almost like a rose.

1. The Corpse Flower (Amorphophallus titanum)
The Corpse flower (Amorphophallus titanum) is an Indonesian typical flower. Its height can reach 180 cm and diameter of 90 cm. The Corpse flower has a unique shape as if from prehistoric era.

Reportedly, this is the biggest flower in the world. Bodiless, stemless, leafless and rootless, it requires the vine for its nourishment and support. It emits a pungent rotten flesh smell (hence the name, “Corpse Flower”) which attracts flies and beetles to pollinate it. The flower blooms for about a week before dying. Radinn, an electric wakeboard use waterproof jet system

For those of you who love water sports must be familiar with wakeboarding. However, to do this sport activity is definitely needed tools such as motor boat to pull, or heavy water flow.

Seeing this, two Swedish businessmen named Alexander Lind and Philip Werner break the chains of dependency in playing wakeboarding with the new electric wakeboard named Radinn. By using Radinn allows the users to perform many attractions without having to be pulled by the motor board.

As reported by the NewAtlas on Monday, August 1, 2016, is currently in a prototype stage, the electric wakeboard Raddin has a modern design. Its body is made of carbon fiber, which is equipped with a waterproof jet system and powered by lithium batteries.

The batteries are located on the waterproof compartment, and easily removed for charging. Users get the extra batteries, they can be added easily. Across the board, including the batteries have a weighs only about 29 kg.

The elecric wakeboard Radinn capable of traveling at speeds up to 25 knots or 46 km/h, although the final version for the commercial purposed has a higher speed. As for the batteries life, should be able to defend well for 45 to 60 minutes in normal use or mix speeds. But if it's full speed could only last 20 to 30 minutes.
The manufacturer will give Radinn's official price is worth €15,000 or about Rp.217 million. While the delivery period will be made start from this year.. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RADINN | NEWATLAS]

Is the 'Fifth force' of nature been found?

For decades, people knew of the existence of four of the fundamental forces (elements that make the universe survive, namely: gravity, electromagnetism and the nuclear forces, both weak and strong, that uniting atoms).

And now scientists may have discovered the fifth force (which may answer the big question of physicists related to what particle actually works behind the veil of dark matter mystery.
Galaxies such as this spiral, known as NGC 6814, are held together by mysterious dark matter. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1dG5X4)
Dark matter is an invisible material, not identified, and not detected as well, which is believed to be the majority materials which formed the universe (about 85 percent). It formed when the universe was created billions of years ago, in a massive explosion known as Big Bang.

Because it is not absorb or emit the light, so that the existence of dark matter can not be proven directly. It's called 'dark' but not as scary, but it is not yet within reach of human knowledge today.

"If true, this is a revolutionary findings," said the study author, Jonathan Feng, a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of California, Irvine, as quoted of LiveScience on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

"If confirmed in further studies, the findings related to possibility of the fifth force will change our understanding of the universe, with the consequence is merger between the four powers (known previously) with the dark matter."

Feng and his colleagues analyzed data collected recently, and used by physics experiments at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, which is trying to find the 'dark photon' (a hypothetical indicator of the existence of mysterious dark matter).

Experts in Hungary detect interesting evidence of subatomic particles that were previously unknown, which is 30 times heavier than electrons and believed to be a 'dark photons'.

"The experiment can not be claimed that it is a new force," said Feng. "Experts only see the excesses of events that indicate a new particle, but it is not clear to them whether it is a particle of matter or force carrying the particles."

A new study conducted Feng and his team showed that found by the scientists in Hungary is not the 'dark photon' but 'protophobic X boson' (a strange particles whose existence could indicate the fifth force in the universe).

The electromagnetic force impacted on protons and electrons, but it turned out new particles interact only with protons and neutrons, within very short intervals.

"There's no other bosons which have been observed, and have similar characteristics," said another writer, Timothy Tait, who is also a professor of physics and astronomy at UC-Irvine. "Sometimes we refer to it as 'X boson', 'X' means unknown.

Fifth forces may be associated with electromagnetic and nuclear forces (strong or weak), as 'a manifestation of a larger force and fundamental'," said Feng. He added that the 'normal' material and the power of the universe has a parallel 'dark' sector (which has the material and power its own).

"There is a possibility that these two sectors 'talk' to each other and interact with each other through interaction somewhat veiled but fundamental," said Feng.

"This dark sector can manifest itself as a protophobic force (which we see as a result of the Hungary experiment). In a broader sense, it fits with research that aims to understand the nature of dark matter."

Although that's interesting speculation, but the researchers emphasize it was the beginning of a new interpretation. Further researche and experimentations are needed to strengthen the hypothesis. Such particles should also be observed in accelerators.

The good news, says Feng, many scientists were able to follow up on these findings. "Because of these new particles were so light, there are many groups working in small laboratory experiments around the world to follow up the initial claims. And now they know where to look," said Feng. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LIVESCIENCE]
