The US military was trying to make the stealth motorcycles

The US military is currently preparing the motorcycles that will be used as a means of transport with a future stealth technology specifically for the army, and can run with the electricity, gasoline up to the olive oil.

The US military reesearch institute named Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency or DARPA has demonstrated the project results which have supported and funded by them to create the next generation of stealth motorcycles. The motorcycles was SilentHawk made by Logos Technologies and Nightmare by LSA Autonomy both have been funded by this institution.

Two prototypes of advanced motorcycle has been performed at Special Operations Industry Conference in Tampa, Florida, USA, which was organized by the US National Defense Industrial Association. Both motorcycles have advanced features the hybrid engine with multi-fuel that can accept a variety of fuels ranging from jet fuel up to olive oil.
"If it was gasoline, said that gasoline, or say something else. It will be understood," said Alex Dzwill, engineers from the Logos Technologies, as told the Defence One page is quoted by the Daily Mail, Wednesday, May 25, 2016. When asked if you can run other fuels, such as olive oil, he replied: "Theoretically, yes," said Dzwill.

This motorcycle has two modes, 'normal or noisy mode,' and the 'silent mode' that switch the bikes to operate with battery power. This noisy mode has sound of 80 decibels is similar to the sound of vaccum cleaner, while the silent mode has sound of 55 decibels, equal to the conversation in the room. For normal operation, the bike will be fueled by diesel, gasoline or jet fuel. But when approaching the enemy area, the motorcycle will run almost silently with electric power.

From an abandoned aircraft transformed into a street-legal car

Jeff Bloch can not stand watching an abandoned airplane piled near his home. Together with his friend, he changed a former Cessna plane into a car that is ready for action on the streets.

As quoted from Geeko System on Tuesday, May 28, 2016, the man who worked as a police officer along with his two friends to modify a former Cessna aircraft into a car named Spirit of LeMons and could be ridden on the streets legally.

To be used on the street, he pinning a Toyota Van engine. The modified plane-car can run at a top speed of 70 mph or 113 km/h. To test this modified plane-car, then Bloch registering The Spirit of LeMons to participated on the 24 Hours of Lemons, is an endurance competition event for junk cars, aka a parodi event to the 24 Hours of LeMans.

On those event, Bloch and his plane-car won the title. "I do not intend to be at the race track, and I think this is not really cool and the best," said Bloch.

More recently, Bloch made his Spirit of LeMons could run on the public streets legally. Then Bloch pinned a standard features on the car, such as the headlights, turn signal lights, brake lights, and even insured.
Bloch says as told to Barcroft TV on YouTube, the biggest problem now is that he’s concerned about drawing focus from other drivers who should be focusing on the road, not his plane-car or the fact that it should really have been a car or plane. This Survival Capsule is claimed to save people from Tsunami

Disasters can come anytime and a safe haven is the first place we are going to find. Problems arise when we could only find a bit of a safe place to shelter. Now, a new discovery helps answer to solve the problem.
The capsules come in various sizes ranging from two-person capacity (pictured), for family homes, all the way up to a ten-person capacity, which could be used for businesses and schools. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aeNsr)
A rescue capsule called The Survival Capsule created as an effort to provide protection to humans in the event of natural disasters. The Survival Capsule is a protection system that the giant ball-shaped and designed to withstand disasters like tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes.

The capsule is designed to provide better protection than the traditional safe house in case of emergencies, both as individual or family. Julian Sharpe, originator of The Survival Capsule, said the capsule provides the option to get a security system that is easily accessible, day or night, and actually provide security to the family.
The Survival Capsule sphere will withstand the initial impact of a natural disaster, as well as sharp object penetration, heat exposure, blunt object impact, and rapid deceleration. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aeNsr)
The Survival Capsule comes with many features include seating, storage, water storage and water tanks, internal lights, GPS, a door that can be opened from the inside and the outside, a window with a submarine standard. The capsule is designed with a hard aluminum frame, serves to keep the passengers warm.
The capsule is built using an aluminium frame surrounded by a hardened aluminium shell. It contains a self-righting mechanism to help ensure it stays upright in even the roughest of water. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1aeNsr)
Capsule serve to make anyone inside survived while waiting to get the help of rescuers. Meanwhile, the system improvement using the player at the bottom of the water to prevent the capsule spins up and down. This capsule is also designed to be able to float if the water rises too high, as occurs when a tsunami. Capsule can also be tethered to avoid drifting along with the passengers inside.

Julian explains, the capsule was designed by a team of aerospace experts who have a goal to make the capsule as strong as possible and durable. In early trials, the designer uses a similar program used in the aerospace industry to test the strength and durability of the capsule.

He added, the capsule intended to withstand the impact of a disaster as long as the collision with a sharp object, heat exposure will be available in several variations of capacities, ranging from a capacity of two people, families, up to 10 people at once. It could also be ordered to add an entertainment system and toilet. However, until now, the price has not been released in the market.
The initial concept behind the making of this capsule turns inspired by the tsunami that struck Indonesia especially Aceh in 2004 with the death toll reached up to 225,000 people.

"The early warning system would have saved 90 percent of the population, but 10 percent of the population would be the victims. To lower the victim to 2 percent, the capsule could be an option," said Julian. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILYMAIL]

The first Indonesian air-powered motorcycle

Air-powered motorcycle is now available for the first time in Indonesia. This bike was created by the creative students from Kuningan, a small town in West Java. Motorbike was made by the students of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Karya Nasional ('National Work' Vocational High Schools) that located at the street of Gunungkeling, Cigugur subdistrict, Kuningan regency. They are managed to create the engine for two-wheeled vehicle (motorcycle) that using air as the fuel instead of petrol.

This motorcycle inspired as a number of motorcycle owners are queuing at the fuel stations due to the events of fuel shortages some time ago. Finally, the teachers and students majoring in motorcycle engineering of the vocational high school were decided to create a two-wheeled vehicle without using conventional fuel. After conducting several tests finally they managed to make an air-powered motorcycle, said H. Yepri Esa Trijaka, the headmaster of SMK Karnas as quoted from PriceArea.
The air-powered motorcycle which uses one air tube was able to run up to speed of 40 kph. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1anqaw)
It began when one of teachers of the vocational high school designing a unique air-powered vehicle. Then he was transfers his knowledge to the students majoring in motorcycle engineering. As results, the air-powered motorcycle which uses one air tube was able to run up to speed of 40 kph.
The air-powered motorbike not yet maximized and thus require developments and trials further in the future. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1anqaw)
According to information from the tutor, the motorcycle may have a top speed of over 40 kph, if the wheels or another components of motorcycle was made from lightweight materials so as to make the engine power that can be achieved becoming faster. Because still using roughing components, then its speed as it exists now. Unfortunately not mentioned, how far that can be achieved by the motorcycle when uses one air tube.

According to the headmaster of vocational high school, these air-powered motorbike not yet maximized and thus require developments and trials further in the future. The students will continue to develop the technology at least until the motorcycle capable of running up to speeds of 80 kph. If this study had better and more effective results, then the school will apply for a patent on this motorcycle. So it will record the name of SMK Karnas, Kuningan as the creator of the first air-powered motorcycle in Indonesia. It is worthy of got an appreciation.
