In addition to the e-bike which is heavily marketed by Italjet, and now they have also been re-create their pride motorcycle concept by referring to the style that was prevalent in the world today, namely café racer and scrambler.

According to Massimo Tartarini, CEO Italjet, the concept of Italjet Café Racer and Scrambler marks a pivot point in the history of Italjet to pave the way toward a more interesting story of their journey.

The airbag helmet for cyclists

If not careful, riding a bicycle can be fatal -- especially if you fell and hit the head. This is the main reason in a number of countries, the cyclists are required to wear helmets. However, as technology develops, the scientists continue to explore a more practical way for cyclists to stay safe.

A Swedish company named Hövding Sverige a step further by creating a collar cushion that could turn into an airbag helmet immediately protects the head if you fall. As quoted from Katu, on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, the the tool is similar to the airbag as one of the safety features found on four-wheeled vehicles, but the difference is in the form of a collar.

According to Fredrik Carling, CEO of the Malmö-based company, the idea comes from two Swedish students who want an additional choice in doing their cycling hobby. He said, "the idea is a little crazy, even almost unthinkable."

Its use is quite simple, plug collar, pull up the zipper and turn on the activation button -- and the cyclists can travel without having to wear a conventional helmet. Kelevra.

Carling said the company asked for the help of a stuntman to simulate thousands of possible accidents to determine the movement of the human body when an accident happened while cycling. He said, "This tool can prevent you from bruises, may also be able to prevent paralysis and avoided the user from severe head injury -- in the worst scenario saving human lives."
After doing research for 7 years, the result is a helmet does not look like a conventional helmet that worn while cycling, snowboarding, skiing, or even just a walk in the city center. The 'Airbag Helmet' is sold at a price US. $300 (worth approximately Rp. 4.1 million).

Let's see the video of the 'airbag helmet' test was carried by Hövding Sverige.
"I believe that in the next 10 years, a bike helmet will not look like this now. And the 'airbag helmet' will be something usual. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | HOVDING.COM | KATU.COM]

1970s Italian Innovation: The Striking Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpione

Wedge Sting - The late 1960s was a fascinating period in automotive design. As the swinging curves of the ‘50s and early ‘60s began to fade, a new design language took the stage—one defined by sharp lines, bold angles, and futuristic flair. This shift wasn’t just a quiet evolution—it was a dramatic statement, and few cars illustrated this turning point more vividly than the Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpione.

When the curtain rose at the 1969 Brussels Motor Show, it wasn’t just another prototype that stood in the spotlight. It was a bold, unapologetic wedge of a machine, sculpted by Pininfarina and built on the bones of a purebred Abarth race car. The Scorpione, as it was fittingly named, didn’t just push the boundaries of what a sports car could look like—it redrew them entirely. The usual three-part silhouettenose, cockpit, and tail—was replaced with a seamless, unbroken line stretching from the tip of the hood to the roof, breaking convention with refreshing confidence.

At the heart of the design was Filippo Sapino, a young talent who had recently transitioned from Ghia to Pininfarina. With the Scorpione, he made an unforgettable mark. Taking cues from the Abarth badge itself, Sapino designed the car to echo the form of a scorpion. The sharp front intakes resembled pincers, the muscular front fenders played the role of outstretched claws, and the steeply curved windshield hinted at the creature’s body. And at the rear? A dramatic trumpet-style exhaust, unmistakably mimicking a scorpion’s arched tail, completed the theme with striking intent.

Function was just as unconventional as form. In place of standard headlights, a rotating central unit with six separate lights sat recessed in the nose, hidden until needed. There were no traditional doors, either. Instead, the entire windshield lifted upward, giving the driver dramatic entry into a stripped-down cockpit. Racing pedigree was obvious inside—no frills, just a large central rev-counter and the bare essentials, underscoring the car’s roots in motorsport.

Beneath its edgy surface, the Scorpione was built on Abarth’s SE010 chassis, which was created for competition under the Group 4 regulations. This was no show queen—at its core was a mid-mounted, 2.0-liter twin-cam, sixteen-valve four-cylinder engine. Even in a slightly detuned state for the concept car, it still cranked out a hearty 220 horsepower. Combine that with a feather-light body weighing just 740 kg, and the Scorpione had the kind of power-to-weight ratio that demanded respect.

Its presence extended far beyond the show circuit. One admirer, Japanese collector Shiro Kosaka, was so enamored by the Scorpione’s design and history that he set out to make it a centerpiece of his collection. Pininfarina agreed to part with the one-off—but only on the condition that Kosaka would build a dedicated Abarth museum to house it. He kept his promise. Although the Scorpione likely arrived in Japan around 1977, the Gallery Abarth Museum officially opened in 1992, with the radical wedge firmly at its core.

For decades, the car remained away from European soil, a hidden gem on the other side of the world. That changed in 2014 when it returned to the spotlight at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Time hadn’t dulled its impact. Visitors were instantly drawn to its aggressive angles and thunderous exhaust—proof that true design doesn’t fade; it just waits for the right moment to strike again.
The Fiat Abarth 2000 Scorpione stands today not just as a piece of automotive history but as a vivid expression of innovation, collaboration, and bold creativity. It’s a reminder that design isn't always about evolution—sometimes, it’s about revolution. *** [EKA [30112015] | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ULTIMATECARPAGE ]

Li-fi 100 times faster than Wi-fi

If you expect the faster Wifi connection, meaning much faster than is currently, may be this news worth listening to. Li-Fi will be a new technology for the data transmitting that is claimed 100x faster than Wi-Fi and this one uses the spectrum of light instead of radio frequencies.
LTE, Wifi, LiFi overview. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1Nhycfy)
In contrast to the Wi-Fi commonly using a router to deploy Wi-Fi signal, The Li-fi use light to transmit data with the help of an instrument called the Li-Flame Ceiling Unit and while to receive the signals using a device called the Li-Flame Desktop Units connected to a computer or notebook via a USB connection.

Li-Fi was today claimed to penetrate the speed of 1 Gbps but in theory this technology is capable of reaching speeds of 224 Gbps, in addition to fast, Li-Fi also safer of the radio frequency interference problem and more secure because the Li-Fi signal not spread like the Wi-Fi signal but rather focus in certain areas only.
How does the Visible Light Communications (VLC) technology works. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1Nhycfy)
Li-Fi also claimed to be more efficient in terms of costs of production compared with Wi-Fi and no less important, if the current problems the Wi-Fi signal is still a debate whether it can be detrimental to health or not, Li-Fi that use light or lights claimed to be very safe because it in this case the claim has been no lights can harm health in the long term.

But do not like it, because it uses light as the connection of course has limitations where we can often move would be a problem if the Li-Fi points not spread evenly in the room, it looks like Li-Fi better suited for an alternative to a LAN connection or Wi-Fi that has a position always the same as in the PC/notebook is on the desk.
To be able to use the technology LiFi there are at least 3 major additional devices, namely LED lamp, an internet connection and a photo detector. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | PURELIFI]
