The BMW's big bike looks very fierce

Oberdan Bezzi, renowned designer has recently made some interesting concept sketches for motorcycle fans. One of his works, namely BMW S1000 'Lightburner' concept. His work does not disappoint, because the present is very good.

Yes, the design concept was based on the BMW S1000R streetfighter. The BMW motorcycle, said to be suitable to adopt the naked style that are popular today. Interestingly, the motorcycle use 16-inch racing wheels with small size tire in the front section, and big size of 230 at the rear.

Although look astonishing with the legs mounting are eccentric, but the design is impressive and spoil the eye of the beholder. The bike, then merged with the style and color that describe the greatness of BMW's color  ie silver, blue and black. The bike seat themselves appear attractive to the adoption of the red color became more conspicuous.

At the stern, the motorcycle is embedded a lights of the MT-03. Meanwhile, a small cape near the tank plucked from Aprilia Tuono V4. As a result, the figure of BMW S1000R is also appear violent and futuristic.

Later, BMW is not just whiz on a straight track, but thanks to the design of the chassis, this bike will be very easily controlled and responsive even on winding roads. To get the expected performance, this bike needs to change a lot. As will be performed on transmission, resets the gear ratios and electronic devices. Wanna see Oberdan Bezzi sketch.

Seeing USD's Ferrari Project F

Ugur Sahin Design (USD), a Dutch design company founded in 2007, have developed a number of concept vehicles for a variety of clients over the last few years. But perhaps their most impressive project to date is the Corvette-based Soleil Anadi prototype, which was built in 2011 and shown off at the Top Marques car show in Monaco that year.

And while most of their other concepts remain as digital models, however gorgeous they may be, hopefully their latest project will make the extraordinary leap to reality.

The car in question is a Ferrari-based model mysteriously called the 'Project F' in USD’s correspondence. Although go to their website and it’s found under the title 'Ferrari FORTIS Concept'. So mystery solved.

What’s less clear is everything else about the car. Ugur Sahin Design are keeping quiet for the moment, saying only that it’s based on a Ferrari 458 platform, and that the car is a one-off designed for an undisclosed client.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the Ferrari FORTIS is radically different in appearance to the 458, and major surgery is going to be required for the donor car to be transformed into USD’s vision. Not one body panel is shared between the two, and the resulting car has more in common with the LaFerrari than anything else.
It also may prove tricky to make that ludicrously low roofline and extremely narrow, slit-like windscreen work in the real world. It might look good, but the driver’s field of vision is going to be extremely limited by the extreme proportions. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | UGURSAHINDESIGN | DISENO-ART]

As the name implies, this motor design shaped like the tulips, complete with color feast for the eyes. When operated, the motorcycle will inflate. But, when not being used, or parked, the scooter will furl.

"The Tulip is the main vehicle for a modern city. It is ultralight, zero emission, small size, and the machine is agile, you can use in your daily routine, or for short leisure trips," the designer said in a statement.

Meanwhile, according to the Ecomento reports, this scooter can offer a maximum range of 60 miles (96 kilometers) on a single charge. While the maximum speed was 50 mph or 80 kph.
Another uniqueness is in the boxy form of wheels covers. There are also two shields as a manifestation of a tulip that is used to cover the hands and serves as the body to break down the airflow.

Roads construction with the Plastic Waste

Currently roads synonymous with a layer of asphalt, maybe in the future plastic waste can be relied on as a substitute material in the roads construction. Because, may be in the future asphalt materials difficult to obtain due to dwindling availability.
Plans unveiled for recycled plastic roads are being considered by Rotterdam city council. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1TGxdvp)
As reported by the Gizmodo, one of the projects being worked on is the PlasticRoad. But so far still in the stage of design and testing by Netherlands construction company, VolkerWessels. And reportedly, within a period of three years, the first PlasticRoad will soon be implemented.

The company claim that their plastic road would be lighter, reducing the load on the ground, and hollow, providing easy access to cables and pipes to run under the surface, shown in the concept image above. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1TGxdvp)
According to them, the planned use of plastic materials in the roads construction will be more environmentally friendly, more durable and easy maintenance. If the use of asphalt in the roads construction takes quite a long time, the use of a plastic base material is much shorter.

The new design of PlasticRoad beside shows environmental friendliness and also there are cavities as a cable channel and the like. The Plastic-Road is claimed to be able to withstand extreme temperatures around -40°C (-40°F) and 80°C (176°F).
Prefab contrruction: VolkerWessels said that the roads (pictured, concept image) would be quicker to build, taking weeks instead of months. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1TGxdvp)
Rotterdam is a city that is used as a place in the development of the project. We have 'the street laboratory' where the latest innovations such as this can be tested.

"It is still a plan, the next stage is to build and test in the laboratory to ensure the quality of the car and the motor vehicle when passing, good wet conditions, heat and other natural conditions," said Rolf Mars, the director of VolkerWessels' roads subdivision, KWS Infra. They added that the plastic waste would be the main choice of materials if it finds suitable partners as expected.
VolkerWessels is actually far from the first company to have this idea, though. An Indian chemistry professor named Rajagopalan Vasudevan, who specializes in figuring out new ways to reuse old plastic, and recently developing a way to turn recycled plastic into a polymer that can used to make asphalt instead of traditional bitumen. The roads are stronger, cheaper, and of course, greener. India has used it to build roads for years now. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | VOLKERWESSELS | GIZMODO | DAILYMAIL]
