Gemballa now being prepared their-owned supercar

Gemballa, an automotive tuner company from Germany which is generally known for cranking out hot Porsches and other projects under its namesake, and reportedly is now preparing their own supercar.

Gemballa announced it while not only dropping a supercar teaser but also opens up a search for new investors. This is the first time this German company has done since 2010.

As quoted from Motor1, The company released little information about its new supercar other than a string of superlatives such as 'uncompromising,' 'radical,' 'pure,' and 'luxurious.'

Steffen Korbach, Gemballa's owner and managing director, said the car would feature an aggressive design with an engine making more than 800 horsepower. Those are bold claims.

From the teaser above, you can see the mid-engined supercar layout combined with aggressive aerodynamics and the super-sleek shape. Then there is a large air intake behind the door that slices the side of the supercar. It can be seen also massive wheel arches, whose attributes look slim.

Although the teaser is just a design sketch which can be said as a hint at what the possible supercar could look like. It is still unclear whether this supercar will have a pre-ordered platform or borrow it from other manufacturers such as the Porsche and its-911.
The company says its first designs will be shown to select clients soon, and that we should see a prototype in 2020. If Gemballa's timeline is correct, production for its supercar could begin in 2022 with customer deliveries following. Hopefully, we'll know more soon about how Gemballa plans to crank out more than 800 hp from the car. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | GEMBALLA | MOTOR1 | AUTOBLOG]

Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo uses a silver-green livery that resembles the livery of Petronas Mercedes-AMG F1 racing car driven by Lewis Hamilton in 2018. There are a number of additions to distinguish it from ordinary coupes, including larger front splitters and rear wings. Top rear view of Pagani Huayra L'Ultimo. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2WGgzr0)
In the mechanical part nothing changes. Meaning, this supercar still uses a Mercedes-AMG 6.0 liter V12 twin turbo engine. This machine is capable of spraying power up to 720 hp at 5,800 rpm and 1,000 Nm of torque between 2,600 to 4,200 rpm. The car's transmission uses 7-speed Xtrac sequential automated manual transmission system.
Some automotive observers said that Huayra production isn't officially over. Pagani is still building the Huayra Roadster. We also don't believe that this here is actually the last coupe that the Italian firm will build. Yes, with enough cash in hand, you'll probably able to convince Pagani to build one more Huayra coupe. Hmm, worth to try if You desperately wanna have Huayra coupe. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DUPONT REGESTRY | TOP GEAR]

KLM's V-shaped airplane ready to fly in next two decades

KLM, the Dutch airline company reportedly is ready to fund the development of a new futuristic aircraft design. The concept features a V-shaped aircraft, where passengers can sit comfortably in those unique aircraft cabin. This aircraft design was then given the name 'Flying-V Plane'.
This new fuel effficient V-shaped plane named Flying-V will change air travel in the future. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ZiCzF2)
As qouted from CNN on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, the name of the aircraft was taken from the name of the Gibson Flying V electric guitar which happened to have a shape similar to the aircraft.

And the Gibson Flying V guitar is known to have been used by many well-known musicians ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, and many others.
The Flying-V plane design was conceived by Justus Benad, who was a student at the Technical University of Berlin then developed by researcher at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2ZiCzF2)
The aircraft design integrates a passenger cabin that can accommodate up to 314 passengers in it, cargo space and fuel tank on the wing, and creates an unusual V-shape. With a branched cabin resembles the 'V' letter and each equipped with a turbofan engine, the aircraft design is claimed to be able to save fuel up to 20 percent when compared to Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Although the shape is different from other aircraft, the aircraft's wingspan is the same as the wingspan of an Airbus A350-900 aircraft. So that it allows the airport to accept these aircraft arrival same as another plane in general without the need to reconfigure or change the airport's ground facillity.

The initial design of this aircraft was conceived by a student at the Technical University of Berlin named Justus Benad. The design was then developed by researchers at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands..

Project Leader of TU Delft, Roelof Vos said that this innovation was needed, especially to achieve greater efficiency while researchers developed technology for large-scale electric aircraft. Because, aircraft with less fuel will certainly also produce less pollution.

Pieter Elbers, CEO and President of KLM says, "In the past few years, KLM has developed as a pioneer in sustainability in the aviation industry. We are proud of the collaborative relationship between KLM and TU Delft which serves as an important milestone in efforts to improve sustainable flights."

The researchers hope they will be able to fly the Flying-V in September this year. While the unique aircraft cabin mock-up design will be shown to the public at Amsterdam's Schipol Airport in October 2019 as KLM's 100th anniversary celebration.
While for commercial use, the Flying-V is expected to be operational in the upcoming 2040 and 2050. Vos also revealed that the Flying-V design still requires rigorous testing. While in terms of the interior design of this aircraft, KLM is ready to release it next year. Let's wait for further news. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CNN | THE WONDERFUL ENGINEERING]

A new off-road sports car concept of Lamborghini

The idea of making a Lamborghini car that was able to cross the off-road terrain had long been sparked and its peak could be seen in the Lamborghini Urus figure today. While the first Lamborghini's SUV was made in the 1980s named the Lamborghini LM002 SUV.

Even a few years before, a Lamborghini's test driver Bob Wallace modified two models to create desert-going high performance sports cars, ie the Jarama Rally and Urraco Rally in the 1970s.
A new off-road sportscar concept of Lamborghini named Huracán Sterrato. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2IFsvzt)
Well, now the Italian raging-bull logoed automotive manufacturer is trying once more to make a new sports car concept for the off-road terrain which is given a name Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato. In Italian 'Sterrato' means a dirt road.
Huracán Sterrato was built by taking the base of the Huracán Evo combined with the Urus features. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2IFsvzt)
"Huracán Sterrato shows Lamborghini's commitment to a more sure future. The super sports car with off-road capabilities shows the superiority of Huracán and can provide a unique driving experience and performance," said Maurizio Reggiani, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

Yes, the Huracán Sterrato was built by taking the base of the Huracán Evo combined with the Lamborghini Urus features. As is well known, the Lamborghini Huracán Evo has just been launched by these Italian premium automotive manufacturer.

Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato carries a 5.2-liter V10 natural-aspirated petrol engine which able to spray up to 640 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. And in order to support its performance, the supercar will also feature four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, torque vectoring and the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) suspension modifications.
Huracán Sterrato's ground clearance rises 1.9 inches from the standard Huracán. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2IFsvzt)
While the ground clearance of this car rises 1.9 inches from the standard Huracán, and for the front and rear tracks is also 1.2 inches wider. Then the front approach angle is claimed to be one percent better, while the rear approach angle increases 6.5 percent.
Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato's front and rear tracks is also 1.2 inches wider. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2IFsvzt)
Sterrato is also equipped with wide shoulder blocks, underbody reinforcements, side skirts, protectors on the air intake and engine, mud guard made of protective composite to ensure the integrity of the body when used in off-road terrain. Lambhorghini said that the "protective composite" part made of carbon fiber and elastromeric resin which was resistant to rocks and gravel. Then there is another addition that is quite striking, namely the installation of the LED light bar on the roof rack and two other additional LEDs on the front body muzzle.

For the legs, this car uses a rim with a diameter of 20 inches that is different from the standard Huracán, and wrapped in tires that have a unique threads specifically made for off-road terrain. And to accommodate wider tires and tracks, Sterrato is equipped with bolt-on fenders that are equipped with an air intake. In addition, this car also features  the aluminum-made functional skid plates on the front, sides and rear.
Huracán Sterrato's front approach angle is claimed to be one percent better, while the rear approach angle increases 6.5 percent. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2IFsvzt)
As for the interior, Lamborghini says it will complete the Huracán Sterrato with titanium roll cage, as well as aluminum floors, and four-point seat belts with carbon. And Lamborghini's R & D Division also ensures that it will continue to make other innovations in the future. Unfortunately until now, Lamborghini has not provided an official statement when it will produce the Huracán Sterrato.
And if it is produced, it seems that this car is very suitable for the rich automotive enthusiasts who want to enjoy the sensation of driving on the off-road terrain by using Lamborghini supercars. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LAMBORGHINI | DIGITAL TRENDS]
