It's no coincidence that the DBS Superleggera will becoming the newest car to be driven by James Bond in his upcoming action. This special edition gives a direct tribute to the 1969 Aston Martin DBS driven by James Bond in the 5-decade-old movie (which at the time starred by the actor George Lazenby).

As in the 1969 Aston Martin DBS, this special DBS Superleggera was painted in Olive Green color and was equipped with a carbon splitter, aeroblade, and forged alloy wheels with a unique design.

There is also a cool bespoke metal grille at front that combines six stunning horizontal vanes that pays direct tribute a similar features found in the DB5. Aston Martin even beautifies the DBS Superleggera's exterior paint surface with body-colored cantrails and roof.

The interior has been enhanced with all-black leather upholstery with gray Alcantara accents - just like the original DBS. The red accent isn't just there to look good; look like they were inspired by the red-trimmed glove box on the old DBS, which was the place where Mr. Bond kept his rifle.

Aston Martin also offers their serious enthusiasts something very thick with the 'James Bond' aura, ie: a black drinks case located in the trunk. It's perfect for grand touring because it fits a couple of champagne bottles.
To maintain its exclusivity, the British automaker will only make 50 units of this special handmade Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which is planned to be sold at prices ranging from £300,007 (or approx of $381,600) to serious enthusiasts who want to have it. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARBUZZ]
