Tushek being prepared a lightweight, high-performance hybrid car

Salon Privé is the world-class exotic car gathering event held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. On this year, the 14th edition of events which held in the next September, reportedly will featured the latest hypercar from Tushek, an automotive company from Slovenia.

This company look like to appear silently then suddenly presents a new high performance hybrid vehicle in the hypercar segment with the name of Tushek TS 900 H APEX. If you remember, this car actually has also been shown in the famous world's automotive expo since last year, such as in the Monaco Top Marques 2018.

As we all knew, the Slovenian automotive company previously launched the Tushek Renovatio T500 at the same event back in 2012. The car had a very sharp appearance, but after that there was no news anymore.

And it looks Tushek has become the latest automotive company that promises extreme engine performance but should swallow bitter pill in the world's premium car market.

The company was founded by Aljosa Tushek who is also a former racer and of course has a very good knowledge of racing cars. This year, Tushek backs to the surface by launching a high-performance hybrid car that on paper looks very good and is quite promising. This hypercar is powered by a pair of electric motors mounted on both front wheels and a 4.2 liter, V8 engine mounted at the rear.

It look like wanting to compete with the appearance of another hypercars, the Tushek TS 900 H APEX is seen cool by using a pair of scissor-type doors. And to get more driving sensation, its roof can be opened so that the driver and passenger can enjoy the gusts of wind on each strand of their hair and also the roaring sounded of the exhausts and its V8-engine.
Interior view of Tushek TS 900 H APEX. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2wH44vk)
The company claims that the Tushek TS 900 H APEX is the result of four years of research and testing of various the driving dynamics and technologies to produce the cars that can be 'connected' to the driver and passanger through a variety of the latest innovation systems on its cabin.

As reported by Carscoops, with only two electric motors, and also additional compressors, the car's peak power output is at 937 horsepower and 1,400 Nm of torque! Indeed, those performance figures have not been able to place the TS 900 H APEX as the most powerful hypercar but worth noting the car has a light weight of around 1,410 kg. This is not surprising, thanks to the chromium applied on spaceframes and carbon fiber on the body. This is very impressive for a high performance hybrid vehicle with such specifications.
Rear view of Tushek TS 900 H APEXH at the Top Marques Monaco 2018. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2wH44vk)
The power generated by the car's hybrid system is then combined with a 6 speed sequential transmission system so that it can run up to the top speed of 379 kph. Tushek also claims the car's acceleration ability from 0 to 100 kph can be done in just 2.5 seconds, and also can travel approximately 49.1 km by using its electric power only!!

With the capability to produce high performance so the need of great performance component supports such as tires and brakes also becomes very crucial on this car. And on the Tushek TS 900 H APEX is seen using Pirelli Trofeo Series R tires with dimensions 235/35 in front and 305/30 behind. This hypercar also uses Brembo's disc brakes and large sized calipers which are installed on each its wheels.
Not much technical informations were given, as well as the price, and the car's amount to be offered are still not officially disclosed by this company. However, for sure is more and more independent companies or auto manufacturers are able to develop such cars and seems like the games will never ends! Nobody knows. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOPS | SUPERCARS]

Seeing Ken Okuyama's Kode 9

When on the streets, we certainly often see a variety of cool cars (sports cars or supercars) with a variety of sophistication they have and the speed that they can produce. These cool cars are of course the dream of all automotive lovers in the world to be able to test their adrenaline when on driving at their desired speed on the streets or even racing circuits anywhere.

And the figure of sports cars or supercars that exist today can not be separated with the automotive designers who have made enormous contributions through their creative design ideas which are then manifested into the real form of a sports car or supercar.

One of them is Ken Okuyama. He is a world-famous car designer, who worked for Pininfarina until 2006 and was involved in many famous supercar projects such as the Ferrari Rossa concept, Ferrari Enzo, Maserati Quattroporte and many others.

Now through his own automotive design company called 'Ken Okuyama Design,' looks actively giving birth to many unique concept cars. He has built many supercars through his company, such as Kode 0, Kode 57 and this time we will discuss one of the other automotive works that was born by Ken Okuyama named Kode 9 or k.o 9.
Rear side view of Ken Okuyama's Kode9 sports coupe version shown at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/33E4ClF)
When first wanted to build it, Ken Okuyama intended to make a car inspired by a number of retro concepts and Vintage car models such as the Jaguar D-Type, Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, Lotus Elise, Mach 5 (a racing car on the TV anime series titled 'Speed Racer'), etc. The car managed its debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

He said that this car was a combination of a racing car and a sports car. The appearance of this car has amazing proportions but looks simple. According to him as well this car will be able to compete with other sports cars. Beside that the car was described as "a message for the currently car industry that seems to be trapped in a line and an overly complex structure (rigid) based on the lowest common denominator."

Besides being made in the coupe version, this car is made in a spyder version as well. The Kode9 has the latest innovation where the race car comes with the tuned 1,798 cc four-cylinder Honda engine with the HKS turbocharges so that it can produce power of 316 hp.

Overall this car weighs only 890 kg and it is not surprising due to this car uses the 3D printed aluminum chassis and as well as for a series of carbon elements applied on the body. This clearly shows that the Kode 9 is a super lightweight vehicle.
Ken Okuyama's Kode 7 or k.o 7, a lightweight roadster shown at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/33E4ClF)
At the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the sports coupe version of the k.o 9 (with a Blue Sparked color with two White lines in the middle) and spyder ones (in two color combinations of Orange and Light Blue plus 'Gulf' racing livery design).
Those two Kode 9 models are together performed with another Ken Okuyama's works named k.o 7 Clubman Series II, a 'roadster' weighing 740 kilograms that uses a normally aspirated 1,598 cc engine which is capable of spraying peak power up to 250 hp. Besides those, also shown two modified Yanmar's farming tractors on the booth.
It was reported, if anyone was interested to be the owner of those unique cars, in the time the Kode 9 cars would be sold at prices starting from JPN. ¥‎25 million. Did you interested to have it? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN | HYPERBEAST | CLASSIC DRIVER]

A stunning American electrical GT car was revealed

As was stated In the previous article, there's an American startup company wants to launch an electric-powered supercar. This zero emissions supercar will be launched at the Monterey Car Week 2019 in Pebble Beach, California.
Drako GTE is an all-electric, 1200-horsepower sedan with a claimed top speed of 206 mph. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/30fabV5)
And the company, named after its co-founder Dean Drako, turned out to be on time to fulfill its promise. On Friday morning at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week 2019, the company unveiled its striking new all-electric supercar which is given the simple name Drako GTE.
Drako GTE has made its debut at Monterey Car Week 2019 in Pebble Beach, California. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/309d2iI)
And whatever your feelings regarding its exterior styling, the GTE is a supercar powered by four electric motors, which altogether able to spew out 1,200 horsepower and 6,490 lb-ft of torque. With a maximum torque differential between each wheel set to 3245 lb-ft, the company brags the GTE is able to precisely rotate and corner like no other car.
Drako GTE, a sleek four-door with an aggressive stance, uses four individual permanent-magnet hybrid synchronous motors paired with their own direct drive gearboxes. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/309RJxi)
Yes, the car uses four permanent-magnet hybrid synchronous motors (225 kW/302 hp each) to produce that 1,200 hp of power so able to make the car speeding up to reach top speed of 206 mph. Beside that on the car also has Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires to support its extreme performance.

The car's performance figures mentioned above were made possible by the incorporation of Drako DriveOS, a software system that that replaces conventional mechanical axle differentials with computer-managed four-wheel torque vectoring; so that the motors mounted on each wheel can be controlled instantly and independently for maximum traction, stability, and handling responsiveness. The entire system is controlled by a single ECU, making it far less complex than computer networks in most modern vehicles today.
Drako Motors plans to build GTE only 25 examples starting at $1.25 million apiece with deliveries expected to begin in 2020. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/309RJxi)
That car unveiled after roughly six years of development, is based on a Fisker Karma platform, but every panel except the doors is new. Indeed, the sensuous lines of the carbon-fiber bodywork were penned by Lowie Vermeersch (ex-Pininfarina design director) who has been owned a design house in Turin, named GranStudio. But what lies underneath—namely, an innovative battery, four electric motors, and that proprietary Drako DriveOS software to run it all—truly sets this new supercar apart.

At this point, this road-going hypercar with accommodations for four people uses a 90 kWh battery holds the power, and it’s capable of fast recharging through 150 kW outlets. Drako, however, seems more interested in sharing the GTE's admittedly impressive track performance, because we aren’t given stats on range or recharge time.
Honestly, such things probably won’t matter to GTE buyers. The company plans to build just 25 models at $1.25 million each, with deliveries expected to begin in 2020. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DRAKO MOTORS | RIDE | MOTOR1 | MOTORTREND | FORBES]

Here it is Bugatti Centodieci as a homage to the EB110 SS

After a while the cyberspace was enlivened by the news about the latest model from Bugatti which would pay homage for one of the greatest, craziest, and strongest Bugatti cars ever made that were present in the 1990s - the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport.
Bugatti Centodieci as a homage to the EB110 SS. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2N8Zzn5)
Now it seems, we are a little satisfied with the presence of the pictures of upcoming Bugatti's supercar. But unfortunately there is still no confirmation from the Molsheim-based auto company as to their validity. Due to the sheer amount of images and the level of detail contained within them, it's very unlikely that these are fake. And the upcoming model to be called Bugatti Centodieci which literally means '110' in Italian.
1995 Bugatti EB110 SS. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2YKVfg9)
From the front view, clearly seen its link to the EB110, the horseshoe-shaped grille is much smaller than the modern Bugatti models have and it's accompanied by the very distinct horizontal lines either side of it. At the top, the bonnet gets a V-shaped bonnet vent that is far more aggressive. The front view of the Centodieci is equipped with several ultra-thin LED lights, which look to extend all the way to the wing mirrors.
Three of Bugatti supercars posed in the tricolore formation of French flag, consisted of Bugatti EB110 SS (blue), Bugatti Centodieci (white) and Bugatti Chiron (red). (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2N8Zzn5)
Then down the side, there's something striking, ie the retro-shaped air vent just below the C-Pillar, and another links to the EB110 is the air scoop which seems to run the whole length of the side-skirt. The Centodieci seems to be the first modern Bugatti to completely eliminate the 'C-Shape' design style that has been a distinctive shape of Bugatti cars today (since the Veyron).
Bugatti Centodieci seems to be the first modern Bugatti to completely eliminate the 'C-Shape' design style that has been a distinctive shape of Bugatti cars today. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2N8Zzn5)
And from the rear view, there is a clear similarity between new and old that is the presence of huge-sized fixed-wings, but those keen-eyed will notice several more little touches here and there. Especially the entire bottom of the bumper seems to be split in the middle from just below the tail lights, so there is a long vertical vent at the end of the bumper on each side.
Bugatti Centodieci has clear similarity with its predecessor, the EB110 SS that is the presence of huge-sized fixed-wings in the back. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2N8Zzn5)
One that remained a mystery until its original form actually appeared was its drivetrain. From the circulating widely news in cyberspace, the figure of Centodieci is said to be very much based on the Chiron, there's possibility it will use the same engine as well, ie a quad-turbocharged W16 engine capable of producing power up to 1,479 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque.
If true the Centodieci uses those kind of engine, then the acceleration performance figures from rest to 62 mph can be done in 2.5 seconds and the top speed that can be achieved at 260 mph. In comparison, the EB110 Super Sport car of 1992 debutance used a quad-turbocharged V12 3.5 liter engine with the ability to spit out power to 603 hp and complete a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 218 mph.
It is said that Centodieci will be made in a limited numbers of 10 units and will be sold at a price tag of around € 8 million or around the US. $ 9 million. And this price is only half of La Voiture Noire which is listed as the most expensive production car in the world ever made to date.
Updated: Bugatti Centodieci performed on its debut at Monterey Car Week 2019 in Pebble Beach, California. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/309d2iI)
So far, Bugatti has officially confirmed treveal date and time of the new model, it will be announced at The Quail in Pebble Beach on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:20 Pacific Time. Let's just wait for the time to come. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DRIVETRIBE]
