Larry Hall, a former US government contractor, recently built an unusual and unique residence in the form of an earth scraper building called Survival Condo in a former Atlas missile silo.

As quoted of The Sun, he came up with the idea in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. Currently Larry Hall has built this unique below surface building somewhere in Central Kansas, United States. And according to the Survival Condo site, they are currently working on the second silo building, after the first one was completed some time ago.

The mentioned building is like the opposite of a skyscraper, if the
skyscrapers that soar high into the sky. This Survival Condo is built by
utilizing a silo bunker which is then converted into a building that is
embedded into the bowels of the earth, as if clawing at the earth's
crust. In addition, the Survival Condo is also made with 9 feet of
concrete thicks that's believed to be able to withstand very large
shocks caused by blast thermonuclear weapons and even earthquakes.

The building was built as deep as 210 feet or 64 meters into the earth. Later the building will be used as a shelter from chaos and mass destruction that occurred on earth as a result of nuclear war, pandemics and others. As Larry Hall told The Sun, "The aim (of this building) is to protect the occupants from various events that have the potential to destroy the earth, from nuclear war, pandemics, meteor attacks to major public chaos."

The Survival Condo's withstand is claimed by Larry Hall to be very capable. "This is a luxurious residence building. Resistant to nuclear attack and able to protect its occupants physically and mentally," he continued.

The building, which is embedded in the bowels of the earth, is able to withstand a 20 kiloton nuclear explosion and those number were that size is equivalent to the nuclear that was dropped by the United States on the Nagasaki region, Japan in 1945 which killed thousands of people.

He said that currently the anti-apocalypse building is equipped with various public facilities, ranging from swimming pools, cinemas, gyms and saunas, to restaurants with the food stocks, he claims to be available for the next 5 years. "Residents are very welcome if they want to bring their own food," he said.

For example, Russia's space laboratory, Mir with a weight more of 120 tons was once directed to land in this place in 2001. It is very likely that no human has ever crossed those coordinates at all. Even, the inventor had never visited the location of Point Nemo. Then, one of the mysterious unsolved events to date that has ever taken place in the area around Point Nemo is the mysterious sound of bubbles. At that time in 1997, the world's scientists were surprised when they detected one of the loudest underwater sounds ever recorded near the poles.
The sound later called "The Bloop" was caught by an underwater microphone that was more than 3,000 miles apart. Until now, there has been no further explanation about the sound. Whale feces was discovered by Ken Wilman while strolling with his dog, Madge on a secluded beach in Morecambe, England. Initially, Wilman thought it as a rock. "When I picked it up, I immediately put it back because it smells disgusting," Wilman said, as quoted by the BBC.
At home, Wilman finds out about it from Google's site. The clumps that similar to the rock is probably the ambergris, which is derived from the digestive tract of sperm whales, and an element that is very expensive in luxury fragrances, such as Chanel No. 5. Sometimes the progress of science and technology can amaze us, like what is being studied by scientists at Cambridge University. Although this can be said as an initial stage, this could be a technological breakthrough to produce renewable energy.
Recently, scientists developed artificial leaves that can suck in sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to produce synthesis gas, a gas that can be used as an alternative to fossil fuels.
Chemists at Cambridge University want to develop a device that is inspired by the natural events of photosynthesis. After seven years of research, the experts created what is called an artificial leaf. The research itself has been published in Nature Materials journal.
Like real leaves, these artificial leaves do not need bright sunlight to function. According to scientists, the leaves will work efficiently even in rainy or cloudy weather. In other words, the technology will not be affected by the season.

"We can use it from morning to night anywhere in the world," said Virgil Andrei, a Ph.D. candidate student who is also the lead author of the study. As reported by the Iflscience page, the artificial leaf uses carbon nanotubes with two light absorbers combined with a cobalt-made of catalyst.
After being immersed in water, the reaction will begin with one light absorber using a catalyst to produce oxygen, while the other absorbers carry out chemical reactions to reduce carbon dioxide and water to carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
These three gases are the basis of synthesis gas. The synthesis gas has about half of the natural energy density, but it has several uses in the production of liquid fuels and is considered a renewable energy source.
"You may not have heard of syngas itself but every day, you consume products that were created using it. Being able to produce it sustainably would be a critical step in closing the global carbon cycle and establishing a sustainable chemical and fuel industry," added senior author Professor Erwin Reisner from Cambridge's Department of Chemistry

As we all know, that a year ago SpaceX first launched Falcon Heavy rockets into space. The launch of the rocket was a success, especially when the Falcon Heavy also brought the latest projects of SpaceX, Starship and Super Heavy with the contents of Elon Musk's personal Tesla Roadster on those journey.

Looking at the statistics of the page, the Tesla Roadster position is currently 226 million miles from Earth and 163 million miles from Mars. In fact, there are reports of the Tesla Roadster speed on those space journey, ie 5,149 miles per hour.

This car is also projected to continue to travel through space for a very long time. As reported by LiveScience, scientists believe, this Roadster will return to Earth later or maybe enter Venus.
