Lada Raven Concept as an imaginary supercar

The name of Lada itself is not actually known as a supercar maker, and some of its current lineup of cars has undergone many significant improvements from its previous model cars. Their products still look like the KIA models of the 1990s than the passenger cars in the 21st century except the Vesta sedan released in 2015 which can be said a quite good.

The following is Lada Raven, a supercar concept figure which is the work of a Russian designer named Dmitry Lazarev who made it in 2014.

This supercar design is inspired by the Wright brothers Flyer with their work that has now evolved into the figure of F-16 fighter aircraft.

This concept supercar looks brave to display many curves so it can be considered quite radical. The very wide grille fins in front, and blend harmoniously with its sharp headlamp model. The futuristic stern shape, in line with its front lips. The air duct sculptured on the side of body as a reflection of high aerodynamic level. While on the tire sectors that wrap a modern shaped of alloy wheels add more fierce its appearance.

From the rendering results made by Lazarev, he looks considering that the car with mid-engine layout was suitable for these supercar car design. But, there are no more technical details related to these Lada car concept. Overall this concept still looks so dramatically mysterious and tends to weird.

These futuristic design was first proposed to Lada manufacturer AvtoVAZ on 2014. However, Lada politely declined the chance to become the makers of the first Russian supercar. The Russian automaker said that their market segment was mass models, predominantly for users with a family. A low-riding sports car without a trunk is not their style.

Reportedly, an automotive construction firm named Vector answered Dmitry's call to make his dream supercar. After that, Lazarev has teamed up with Vector to manufacture 100 of the vehicles.

They has started production these supercars on a limited numbers, under the brand 'Vector Raven.' But until now there has been no further news, whether 100 units of these supercar is produced or not. Although these concept car will never be a real car, but from the rendering images above, can add to our insight about the design of a future supercar.
