A New Rock Trike for the Rocker and Biker

The big bike alone can be attract the people attention on the road, more if tricycle, and especially if it penetrates the imagination like a three-wheeled motorcycle of Bingky's work result named 'New Rock Trike'. This unique trike on display at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2016 in JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta.

Not misinformed indeed, this trike can be so magical because it is not fully built out of objects that have been mass produced, except for the chassis and engine which were taken from the legendary product of Harley Davidsons.

"It used a 1,400 cc Harley engine. Everything we make it yourself unless the engine and chassis," said Ignatius Hendra aka Bingky, the owner of the Carburator Springs Resort. For the front wheel is thin with barely waist-high adults, while for the rear wheels is to use a pair of tires with a tread width.

"The total process of 3-4 months due to the front and rear must be made by yourself. If the tires and rims we just buy it, there are many out there, while the tank should be made by yourself. And the front and rear end are the most complicated," said Bingky with relaxed slowly rhythm.

Initially we guess this bike inspired by a anti-hero comic. But apparently, Bingky mention that the motorcycle is cultivated without any inspiration from anywhere except the liberation of their own creativity.

"I do not ever follow the example from nowhere. It's made according to desire, taste, creativity, and the parts are also general for the motorcycle modifications and can be purchased anywhere. The custom lights for the front and back. We bought the part is easy so if it broke easily we bought it again," he said.

He said he did not know how much it costs to build this trike. However, he dismissed softly when we called out the cost was Rp.200 million or approx $15.4 thousand. By the way, the idea is quite unique because at the back of the trike there is an electric guitar like a war horse carrying a sword. Some sort of a trike for knight has a guitar?
"It has a story, the guitar, and trike also. We do have a boots store (New Rock) contrived by Espanyol. The boots mostly reserved for the rockers and bikers. Well, it's so its icon. The bikers represented by the motorcycle, and the rockers with the guitar. Based to my own personal characteristics that rock and roll. It's impossible to display the drum on the trike isn't," Binky added with a laugh. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | OTOSIA]

A special version of the Aston Martin DB9 made in Russia

Not many the coach builder companies who can change the look of a well-established car. But not with Cardi, a Moscow-based coachbuilding company. They managed to overhaul the look of the Aston Martin DB9 becomes more interesting and certainly limited. The car given the name 'Cardi Concept 442,' where it looks more flattened and has a dimension more lenght than the standard Aston Martin DB9.

In the front view, Cardi Concept 442 looks more boxy with the large grille area. It uses flat headlights and also use of the projector lens. In the rear view, the air grilles look to dominate and looks similar to the design of the Audi R8. Its flat taillight design in tune with the front headlights.
Wide grilles front and rear give a totally different look. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZLMKY)
The Cardi designers should strive hard to move the B pillar belonging DB9 to put the massive side glass and panoramic roof. In the interior, you will be presented the dashboard with a large wood panel. And the designers say that the interior is inspired from the yacht's.
Inside, the nautical design is a step up from Aston's usual dash design. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZLMKY)
This is aided by the slim steering wheel and sleek design - analogue dials have been replaced by a digital screen, while even the climate control system relegated to three slim strips on the lower part of the dash. The infotainment screen is low-mounted and controlled by a BMW iDrive-style wheel, while an analogue clock sits in the centre of the whole thing.
The concept ditches Aston's bodywork in favour of sleeker styling. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZLMKY)
Behind the outer shell which has a totally changed design, Cardi 442 Concept uses the similar engine and transmission with DB9, ie a V12 engine which have a capacity of 6,000 cc combined with 6-speed automatic transmission system.

The images of the Concept 442 were released in a special brochure commemorating Cardi’s 25th anniversary. It’s not yet known if Cardi plans to commercialise the Concept 442, but we can think of a few DB9 owners who would undergo the transformation just to stand out more. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARDI PRO | AUTOEXPRESS]

Decades of human waste has made Mt. Everest transformed into a giant fecal mountain

More than 4,000 people have climbed Mount Everest since Sir Edmund Hillary as the first man who stood on the highest point of the Earth's surface in 1953 ago. Before that, the deadliest peaks which have a height of 8,850 meters above sea level is literally untouched by humans, because no one ever stood at the top or pooping on the slope.

Now, the highest mountain in the world was covered in more than 10 tons of human waste, and filled with broken equipments, remnant of oxygen tubes and many others. Yes, the explorers, glory seekers have been damaging the most iconic mountains on our planet.

According to Peter Holley in The Washington Post, more than 11,793 kg of human waste is transported from the mountain each season by the Sherpa people. Then they throw the garbage in the holes near Gorak Shep, a small village located at an altitude of about 5,164 meters above sea level.

When conditions on the mountain were friends, hundreds of climbers set out from base camp in the hope of setting foot on the summit. Although not all the climbers successfully reached the peak, surely they all left a large amount of dirt and remnants of supplies.

How could this happen?
Climbers usually dig a hole in the snow to be used as an emergency toilet. After this shitting business was over, they close the hole and then go. But the dirt was not going anywhere, initially the emergency toilet that used only a hole in the ground and then  has been growing for many years. The most affected areas are an outside area of the climbers camp that used to be adjust to the altitude.
During a 2010 cleanup at Mount Everest, a Nepalese Sherpa collects trash left by climbers more than 26,000 feet up the mountain. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZS9Ja)
Along with the garbage problem worsens, the local water sources are slowly transformed into toxic sludge. Essentially, the holes in Gorak Shep is a giant trash cans which have risks threatening diseases to the locals. The situation is worse because the dirt was not destroyed by the cold climate in the region. Dirt freezes and stay there longer than in the areas with the warmer climate.

The good news, there are still people who are trying to present a solution, because in fact no one wants to see one of the most spectacular natural scenery in the world becoming a fecal giant mountain. One of the leading ideas come from the engineers of Mount Everest Biogas Project, which plans to transform the dirt in the holes at Gorak Shep became a source of energy.

As Renee Morad report to Discovery News, the digester biogas is different from the usual because it has the ability to function in cold environmental conditions.

"Digester will be equipped with R-50 insulation and 200 watts loop resistor, similar to those commonly found in the water heaters and has a function as a heat conductor."

Engineers also said that an additional 100 watts of power will be needed to keep the contents of the digester are buried in the ground, remain at a temperature of 86 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

To provide the power to the device, the team plans to implement a series of solar panels. If this becomes reality, the manure pits can actually provide benefits to the locals.

However, this idea does not necessarily solve the garbage problem which is getting worse every year. Even though the Nepalese government requires all climbers carry down 8 kg of waste down or will lose their deposit money, the waste problem at Everest did not improve. Do you have a solution to this problem? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | THE WASHINGTON POST]

The tracks system such as the chain tracks on the military tanks, it uses the Christini all-wheel drive technology. So the dirt bike which to be a model can be move on slippery or snowy terrain, because the  tracks on the front and rear functioned as the driving force. Christini has patented the all wheels motion system.

The system consists of a small snow tracks laid in the middle between a pair of skis to aid the buoyancy or to keep it not buried in the snow. The track is installed on the front fork, driven by Christini AWD systems on the wheel axle. A pair of skis in the front will adapt to a variety of undulating surfaces, such as heavy snow, mud and sand. And the front track also has a function as the dirt bike braking system.

Christini II-Track can be applied to Christini dirtbikes, both to the 450 4-stroke and the 300 2-stroke. And also could be paired with the configuration of Christini swing arm tracks on the rear section. The Christini II-Track sold at a price of about US. $8,395 or approx Rp.110 million. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CHRISTINI | PRWEB]

Here she is a new face of Stingray

Callaway, a renowned automotive tuner has finally unveiled the latest modification design for the Corvette Stingray. The car modified model combines a sports car design with station wagon called 'Callaway Corvette AeroWagon'.

No wonder if the back of sports car has the look a bit odd, that combining a sports car figure that has more spacious rear cabin. The rear of the vehicle models have a characteristic such wagons in general, but the front retaining sporty style design.

Is it true the Black Hole is the gate to another world?

If you ever watch a movie or read the books of science fiction themed, then you're no stranger to hear that the black hole is a gateway to the  another world or dimension. At least, that's what many people think at this time and has been widely portrayed in myths. However, is it true?

According to the scientist, the fact is not as simple as the assumption. Because, if we go into a black hole, actually something bad will happen. Before you can go into a black hole, the human body will undoubtedly be interested such as spaghetti and even the atoms in the body will be separate.
This illustration shows a black hole named Cygnus X-1, which is sucking the life out of a blue star beside it. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZNY4b)
If we could get into the black hole, we would probably go back to the beginning or even stranded in locations never seen before. As quoted from Live Science on Monday, April 11, 2016, it happens because black holes can bend the space and bring the things that initially far away to be close.

To facilitate the understanding, try to provide a piece of paper and make a point on the far left and right. If you want to connect these two points, then you have to draw a line from one point to another.

However, there is a faster way, namely by folding or bending the paper so that the two points meet. The wormhole that contained in the black hole has a function like the folds of the paper and make the things that initially far away to be close.

Escaping from a Black Hole's grip?
Although it is already known that until now has not found a way to get safely into the black hole, but if we could do, can we go to the destination and back safely?

Keep in mind that the black hole is not an empty space, but it is the place contains some materials that is pushed into a very small and dense, called a singularity (a material collection of the entire universe with infinity density, temperature, and pressure so that according to Einstein's relativity theory that the time and space had no meaning anymore).
Event Horizon area in the Black Hole. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1ZNY8f)
When something moves closer to the black hole, the speed necessary to escape from the catch should be faster than the speed of light ie 299,792 kilometers per second. Because there is no object that has a speed faster than a light (at least until now), it shows that there is no single thing that can come out of the black hole, including humans.

But there is a type of black hole that does not suck up everything around it, called loophole. Such as a vacuum cleaner, the strength of loophole only applies as far as the event horizon (a region around the black hole).

Meanwhile, what is contained in the surface of the black hole is still a great mystery among astrophysicists. Keep in mind, scientists say the black hole is a singularity, where everything that goes into it will be destroyed.

Finally, someone who goes into a black hole would be destroyed and re-emitted as radiation, a concept known as Hawking radiation. According to the calculations of Stephen Hawking, the black hole emit photons. In the event, the black hole would lose energy and over the time will evaporate. But of course it will take a long time, where the black hole has a size of the Sun takes more than 10^87 years to vaporize and explode into gamma rays.

What about Wormhole?
Though black hole still holds many mysteries, but did you know that the object is not static? As with all objects in outer space is always rotating, the singularity in the black hole rotate rapidly to form a ring or a so-called wormhole that can be the gateway to another time and space.

It is very interesting considering the singularity contained in the black hole is endless although we cover the distance and time are infinite. But unlike the ring singularity or wormhole as it can bend and twist the space and time.
Singularity rotating and form a ring, or so-called Wormhole. (Picture from:  http://adf.ly/1ZNY8f)
However, the concept of a wormhole as a gateway to another space and times not be a sure thing. First, no one knows how it will form a ring singularity. Secondly, anyone who tries to solve the incidence of black holes that form a wormhole, find it difficult how keeping it stable.

"In any realistic construction, they are still considered wildly unstable to anything that we'd consider regular matter," said Robert McNees, an associate professor of physics at Loyola University Chicago. Although most scientists say that the black hole could turn into a wormhole, but McNess not convinced by it. "Without a theory of quantum gravity, such questions are hard to answer conclusively," he said.

Another thing that is still an issue is the black hole is believed to be a gateway to other galaxies until today no objects can came out of it. In conclusion, So while it's possible black holes could be gateways, it's probably a good bet that they aren't. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LIVESCIENCE]
