Motorcycle with exceptional performance

This is not surprising, if the motorcycle is specially designed for driving on the racing circuit, if it produces a very violent power as Kawasaki H2R that carries a four-cylinder engine capacity of 998 cc supercharger, which can generate power of 300 horsepower.

Those great power that is not commonly found on a motorcycle is able to jump-start the rider up to speeds in excess of 300 kilometers per hour. In the hands of riders who are not experts, this motorcycle can easily cause death.

As reported by Jalopnik on Thursday, September 17, 2015, there was another motorcycle that can make the owner of the Kawasaki H2R feel inferior. A motorcycle made by Don Hass and Steve Serafini (Hass-Serafini Racing) uses Suzuki GSX1300R as its base.

The Suzuki models are also known as 'Hayabusa' was overhauled, in order to break the motorcycle speed record on land. A four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,300 cc, which had been producing power 173 horsepower, but was later fitted with a turbocharger running on methanol, so the power increased several fold.

At the time of going to measure the engine ability, turns the dyno test machine used was not able to record all of the engine power. That they only managed to record a power of 566 hp, while according to the calculations of the bike's owner, the power can be achieved more than 750 hp.

When it tested on the track, this bike easily carve a speed of more than 358 kilometers per hour. The bike's owner still perfecting this motorcycle, in order to penetrate the speed of more than 400 kilometers per hour.

In the future NASA will send Hedgehog rover to outer space mission

NASA is reportedly developing a robot that is devoted to exploring outer space. This new robot is designed to cope with low gravity environments and rugged terrain. NASA robot others still considered rigid and conventional, so it is not able to penetrate the rough surface conditions or low gravity.
The 'hedgehog' rover moves by jumping around, and can fall and roll on almost any terrain. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1Lda0u8)
As reported by the Daily Mail, a form of development that is applied to this latest robot, among others able to roll over even jump. This concept is inspired by the hedgehogs. Therefore sophisticated robots with unique abilities is named 'Hedgehog'.
After pointing itself in the right direction, Hedgehog can either hop long distances using one or two spikes or tumble short distances by rotating from one face to another. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1Lda0u8)
"Hedgehog is a different kind of robot. It will jump up and fall to the surface, is not rolling on wheels," said NASA. This cube-shaped robot has a rotating tool and braking on each side. The tool also serves as the robot's maneuver protecting when jumping and landing.
It is shaped like a cube and can operate no matter which side it lands on. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1Lda0u8)
"This tool also makes it possible to detect the temperature on the surface when the robot landed," said NASA.

Hedgehog has a fairly light weight, about 11 lbs or 5 kg. But if the combined number of other devices such as cameras and spectrometers, the severity of which will grow to 20 lbs or 9 kg.

Today, Hedgehog robot being developed by researchers at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California. For this project, NASA took a number of prominent universities, such as Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in its development.
But not yet known how the costs incurred by NASA in developing the robot and when the launch missions into space. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILY MAIL]

Sightings of Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo in Frankfurt

The renowned French supercar manufacturer, Bugatti were introduced their new creation of Vision Gran Turismo concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. As a result, the look like a car in a game also looks very luxurious and impressive. The designer was inspired by a car in a video game that was born this concept car.

The concept car is inspired by the fusion of one's own Bugatti flagship car that has won at the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1937 and 1939 as Bugatti Type 57 G Tank, as well as the classic color combination of dual-tone that has become the hallmark of their racing cars.

The impressive looking concept is previewing the styling language which will be adopted by the successor of the Veyron and it is bringing a familiar design with aggressive lines, a sporty front fascia, a large splitter, LED headlights, vented front fenders, prominent rear wing and so on. A center fin, recalling the 1936 Type 57 Atlantic and the classic two-tone exterior, reminding us of the Type 57 G Tank.

The interior design of the new Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is also bringing the leather / suede upholstery, matte and blue carbon fiber trim, two convex displays, a steering wheel which is displaying the vehicle info and much more.
"By offering extreme (high) speed, we can realize from a virtual into the real supercars like LMP1 Race Car. And we will need permission from the FIA and ACO," said Florian Umbach, a Bugatti's head of chassis development.
But unfortunately, the concept car full specifications is still covered by the Bugatti. Nevertheless, this car believed to be carrying a W16 engine that can be driven up to speeds of 400 kph (250 mph). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | INAUTONEWS]

A giant 'ocean' found towards Earth's Core

A reservoir with three times the water volume of all the oceans have been found far below the Earth's surface. The discovery may help explain where sea earth came. The water is hidden in the blue stone called ringwoodite located 700 kilometers underground in the mantle, the layer of hot rocks in the Earth's surface and the core.

The large size of the reservoir throws new light on the origin of the Earth's water. Some geologists think the water came when a comet crashed into the planet, but this new discovery supports an alternative discourse that the ocean is gradually flow out of the interior of the Earth.
Fragments of the blue-colored mineral called ringwoodite, synthesized in the laboratory. (Picture from: http://huff.to/1iuH0AK)
"This is good evidence about where the Earth's water comes," said Steven Jacobsen of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illnois. Hidden water can also act as a buffer to the ocean surface, and explaining why they remain the same size for millions of years.
The first terrestrial discovery of ringwoodite by University of Alberta scientist Graham Pearson confirms the presence of massive amounts of water 400 to 700 km beneath the Earth's surface. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/N87xu0)
By measuring the velocity of the waves at different depths, the team can identify where the rock type that has passed a wave. Water layers reveal themselves as the wave slows down, which makes the wave passes the wet stone longer than the dry stone.

Jacobsen first examine what would happen on a wave if the water contains ringwoodite present. He fosters ringwoodite in his lab, and unload the sample through great pressure and suitable temperature at 700 kilometers below.
Schematic partial cross section of the Earth showing the location of ringwoodite, which make up approximately 60% by volume of this part of the transition zone. The diamond containing the water-bearing ringwoodite inclusion found by Pearson et al. (Nature, 2014) originated from approximately 500 km beneath the Earth's surface, where a large mass of water may accumulate by the subduction and recycling of oceanic lithosphere, into the transition zone. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/N87xu0)
Sure enough, they found signs of ringwoodite wet in the transition zone 700 kilometers down, which divides the upper and lower mantle region. In those depths, pressures and temperatures appropriate to squeeze water from the ringwoodite. "It is a stone with water along the boundaries between grains, almost like they were sweating," said Jacobsen.

Jacobsen findings support the recent studies of Graham Pearson of the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Pearson studied diamonds from the transition zone which has been brought to the surface of the volcano, and found that it contains a water bearing ringwoodite, the first strong evidence that there is plenty of water in the transition zone.

"Since our initial report of hydrous ringwoodite, we find another crystal ringwoodite, also contain water, so the evidence is now very strong," said Pearson. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NEWSCIENTIST]
