The magic eye drops can make you seeing better in the dark

Do you want to see in the dark? A group of California biohackers, called Science for the Masses (SfM) offers a solution. They use Chlorine e6 (Ce6) as a basic ingredient of the magic eye-drop. The Ce6 compound found in some kind of fish in the deep sea and has been used to treat a blindness and cancer.

Ce6 mixed with the compounds of saline, insulin, and dimetilsulfooksida (DMSO). The target is the eye tissue that responsible for catching the retina stimulation. SfM has been piloted the magic eye-drop in humans. They took one of their researchers, Gabriel Licina as a guinea pig. And Jeffrey Tibbetts, a SfM's medical staff who is inject 50 microliter of the magic eye-drop with a micropipette to Gabriel Licina's eyes.
Californian researchers have developed a liquid that enables night vision. The solution combines Chlorin e6 (Ce6) with insulin and saline. A small amount of it was dripped it into a researcher's eyes. It briefly turns the eyes dark or black before it is absorbed, seen in this image of researcher Gabriel Licina. "It was very fast, I experienced a greenish black blur, and the compound was dissolved into my eyes," said Licina as quoted from IFLScience.com on Friday, March 28, 2015. Then, Gabriel Licina use protective lenses to block out some light. Two hours after the injection, he taken to a dark place to test the his seeing abilities. In one test, he managed to see a hand-shaped object at a distance of 10 meters (33 ft). In another test, he also can detect the position of someone who is in front of him at the distance of 50 meters and in the midst of lush trees.

The experiment was carried out by a group of so-called ‘biohackers’ in California called Science for the Masses. It is not advisable to try this at home. They used a solution containing Chlorin e6 (Ce6), found in some deep-sea fish and has light-amplification properties, and is also used in cancer treatment research. (Picture from:  http://dailym.ai/1HWeCYE)
The morning after the test, Gabriel Licina's vision returned to normal. There is no effect whatsoever. Probation report can be seen bellow. Although the experiment is successful, SfM warned to all parties not to do the same experiment at home or independently.

The eyes injection actions should be done by an expert. Arbitrarily injection will damage the surface of the eye and can lead to blindness. The compounds which developed by SfM itself has not been declared safe by the food and drugs control institutes. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | SfM | DAILYMAIL | IFLSCICNCE]

This giant truck has 24 wheels

Russia is known for good at making things in a giant scale. Call it the largest jet aircraft and the largest helicopter ever made. Not only that, Russia was also successfully made the largest truck in the world. The truck was named MAZ-7907. As reported by Autoevolution on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
This gigantic truck named MAZ-7907 drive with 12-axle and 24 wheels. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1bvN7rs)
This truck has actually been developed since the 1980s by the Minsk Automotive Plant, known as MZKT. This truck is deliberately designed to do one thing, namely transporting Russian nuclear ballistic missile RT-23. The problem at that time (1983), the missile which has 10 individual warheads with a range of 10 thousand kilometers and weighs of 100 tons. As a result, Minsk Automotive Plant was then racked their brains in order to fit the needs.
This gigantic MAZ-7907 used 2 gas turbine engines, like the ones used in aviation. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1bvN7rs)
And finally in 1985, the first of two MAZ-7907 trucks had been built. These monster trucks that have a length of 28.1 meters measured 4.1 meters from side to side and the cabin was 4.45 meters tall. And the trucks are said to be able to carry loads up to 150 tons and able to cope with rough roads.

The truck is equipped with a long suspension, and used two gas turbine engines, like the ones used in aviation, were installed. But the 1,250 hp they generated was used to create electricity, not power the truck directly. This in turn fed 24 individual electric motors, one for each wheel. Just as forklifts, its wheels can be changed at once (crabbing motion) or asynchronous (four axis in one direction and vice versa).
According to Mail.ru, this amazing and reclusive vehicle was used in 1996 to carry an 88-ton ship from the Berezina river to lake Narach (in Belarus). It performed its task well and reached a cruising speed of 20 km/h on some portions of the 250-kilometer trip, but broke down afterwards and had to be towed. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MAIL.RU | AUTOEVOLUTION]

Does Honda SFA 150 Concept will be produced?

After being showcased by Honda at the 2014 Indonesia Motor Show (IMOS) in October 2014, and also at the Osaka Motorcycle Show 2015, the Honda SFA 150 Concept will be back on display. The motorcycle concept appearances is also no change at all. Therefore the question arises whether Honda intends to mass produce the Honda SFA 150 Concept in the near future, although there has been no official statement from the Japanese manufacturer.

Questions about the planned mass production of Honda SFA 150 Concept burst, after there was an indication that Honda intend to work on this concept motorcycle seriously. The only thing that can be considered as Honda's official statement is they want to work on the light streetfighter motorcycle, which uses a single-cylinder engine which mounted on the trellis frame.

If Honda does intend to produce this streetfighter motorcycle, means Japanese manufacturers should consider carefully. When introduced in the 2014 IMOS, Honda SFA 150 Concept carrying similar engine to the Honda CB150R, the model is not sold in the European market. And that's where a segment dominated by Yamaha MT-125 and KTM Duke, which proved more attractive for consumers.

If the motorcycle concept will be mass-produced, the main obstacle is the sale price problem. For being in the streetfighter motorcycle segment, Honda SFA 150 Concept certainly targeting to the youth market, because the model and features that carried. However, young people usually have limited funds, so that Honda should recalculate the selling price if it be mass produced.

With a model that looks futuristic, can be ascertained if the selling price of Honda SFA 150 Concept is not going to be cheap. Therefore, until now Honda is still not sure whether they will continue the idea. But, if it is mass produced, it would be a pretty good addition to the Honda.
Small engined motorcycle is quite popular and was able to gain more profit to the company. But, if Honda SFA 150 Concept going into the production line, it stands to reason that there are some features will be trimmed to fit the selling price.

Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of the two-wheeled monster and stay alive with true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops...... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARMUDI]

Technology of wireless energy transmitting

Japanese scientists managed to transmit the energy wirelessly, as a first step that allows solar power plants in space. Researchers use microwaves to transmit power of 1.8 kilowatts through the air with a high degree of accuracy to the receiver as far as 55 meters. Although the distance is not far, but this technology could be opening the way for humans to harness solar energy available in space, said a spokesman for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

"It's the first time someone managed to transmit high power output with the size of almost two kilowatt via microwave to a small target, using smooth directivity control device," he said as quoted by Japan Today on Friday, March 13, 2015.

The spokesman said, JAXA for years have worked to design Space Solar Power Systems (SSPS). Solar power plants based space has more advantages over Earth-based, especially in terms of energy available permanently. Japan's latest research offers the possibility of using infinite source of energy in space.

JAXA's spokesman said that the idea is there are the satellites to delivery of microwave which has the antennas and sunlight collector panels. This tool will be placed 36,000 kilometers from the Earth. "But it could take decades to realize the practical application of this technology, perhaps in 2040s or later," he said.

"There are a number of challenges that must be overcome, such as how to send a large structure into space, how to build it and how to maintain it," he continued. The idea of solar-based power generation in space appears between the US researchers in the 1960s, and SSPS program that financed by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry began in 2009. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | JAXA | JAPAN TODAY]
