This tricycle can go up to 160 kph

Bicycles are known as a vehicle to cover short distances at slow speeds, but an inventor in Minneapolis, United States succeeded in creating a tricycle or velomobile that can be raced at speeds of 160 kilometers per hour (100 mph).
Minneapolis-based inventor Rich Kronfield has created an electric-assist 'Raht Racer' velomobile that he claims travel at up to 100 mph (160 kph). (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1wa0v8z)
Raht Racer created by Rich Kronfield can go fast, it thanks to the help of an electric engine that mounted on the three-wheeled vehicles. The pedals power a 20-kWh electric motor, which sits in the rear wheel hub. How it works is very simple. Power derived from the entire ride will be channeled to the electrical machine, which is double the pedal power so that the bike can go faster.
The Raht Racer's pedals are connected to a unique flywheel generator rather than of directly driving the wheels, as in a traditional velomobile. (Picture from: http://dailym.ai/1wa0v8z)
"Raht Racer bicycle is a vehicle that uses hybrid technology to increase the power of the stroke so that the foot pedal up punting as capable of high speeds," said Kronfield as reported by the Daily Mail.

In addition to generating power, the pedal stroke is done will also charge the battery in the bike that has a weigh of 259 kg (570 lbs). With 'throttle' mode, this tricycle can be driven up to a distance of 80 km (50 miles) with a maximum speed of 160 kph.
Because a great ability, this tricycle is designed like a future small car, which protects the entire body rider. Nevertheless Raht Racer body made of carbon fiber that is lighter but stronger. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILYMAIL]
