Alfa Romeo Unveils Designer's Cut Project to Celebrate 10 Years of 4C Coupé

ONE-OFF - Since FCA (Fiat Chrysler America) introduced the "Reloaded by Creators" project in 2018, several brands under FCA have restored and sold numerous precious and antique Italian models like the Alfa Spider IV and Lancia Fulvia. These cars were brought back to their former glory by in-house brands.

With Stellantis taking over FCA, the initiative was continued and expanded by the Stellantis Heritage Department, which included creating one-off models like the acclaimed Abarth Classiche 1000 SP, based on the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider.

Now, on the special occasion of the Alfa Romeo 4C Coupé's 10th anniversary, Stellantis has launched a new project called the Designer's Cut. The main objective of this project is to pay homage to the historic aspects of Alfa Romeo, capturing the authentic Italian style and driving pleasure that the original Alfa Romeo 4C embodies.

Heading the project is Alessandro Maccolini, the designer of the Alfa Romeo 4C, who continues to play a crucial role in the Alfa Romeo Style Center as the design manager. As a result of their efforts, the project has unveiled three visually appealing car proposals based on the Alfa Romeo 4C.

Finally, there's the Alfa Romeo Leggenda 4C, which sports a charming light blue hue with white wheels, drawing inspiration from the sporty Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce and incorporating the iconic Biscione Milan symbol found in the Alfa Romeo logo.

Nonetheless, the automaker seeks feedback from enthusiasts to determine the preferred choice and direction. Additionally, it remains uncertain whether Alfa Romeo intends to make any changes to the drivetrain. Similar to the Abarth Classiche 1000 SP, where the drivetrain remained unchanged, sticking with the 4C's 1,742-cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 240 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
Alfa Romeo has not yet provided a specific premiere date for this unique one-off 4C series. However, one thing is clear - Alfa Romeo aims to offer this exclusive car series for sale, catering to the interests of "passionate collectors." *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | STELLANTIS | AUTOBLOG ]
