As known, Honda Tiger is no longer manufactured by PT. Astra Honda Motor (PT. AHM). However the owner of Tiger is still a lot in Indonesia. Even there are some owners who make modifications due to feeling bored with the standard look. It is also felt by one of the owners of Honda Tiger named Muhammad Sobron.

He wanted the 2006 Honda Tiger that belonged to him changed dramatically into a different and unique figure. After making modifications in Workshop BIM and Zoel Garage located at Jl. Tanjung Rema Ruko No. 04, Martapura, it gives birth to the figure of a futuristic black colored motorcycle with a little touch of café racer.

The concept of modifications made by the builders gave the appearance of beauty café racer and combined with the custom made body plate. The motorcycle looks is more interesting and impressed more dashing after wore in black colored suit.

Does not end there, if seen it from the front and your eyes will be pampered with a headlamp designed special and memorable. While its body made to cover the engine parts and strengthen the stout impression. In order the modified result more handsome, the display of fuel tank, seat and its aft section deliberately designed to thicken the luxury impression.

For its machinery parts, it seem does not have many changes. there is the exhaust duct on both sides of the motorcycle looks out and went back into the body and finally ended at the exhaust vent. In addition, it also embedded the cooling wrapper served to reduce the heat.

"We deliberately did not change the engine because the rules as such. I am also very satisfied with this modification, although not yet a champion and only became the 2nd and did not brought to Yogyakarta. And we also prove even the small engine motorcycle which uses inexpensive materials, but our design is not inferior to the the world class modification results," said Muhammad Sobron proudly.

Because it has a charming looks, not surprising this motorcycle modification result was awarded the "Best Engineering" at the first series of Honda Modif Contest 2015 in Banjarmasin, South Borneo.

The figure of Acura NSX electric racing car revealed

Acura obviously do not want to miss introduced their latest electric racing car. And reportedly the Acura's electric racing car was ready to be tested its toughness in the Electric Modified Class on the 2016 Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

With the presence of these Acura NSX electric racing cars, certainly made the racing competition more exciting, the event was held on June 26, 2016, at the Broadmoor International Hill Climb Pikes.

The NSX EV is powered by four electric motors that together form a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system dubbed the Electric Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive, a variation of the Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive setup of the stock NSX supercar. So it could burst the power more powerful for lauched the car on the racing track.

Acura not yet released the complete specification of this electric racing car. But is expected with the presence of this car will be frightening another manufacturers. On Mars, the vegetables can grow and safe to eat

For every astronaut who has the hope to live on Mars, growing the food crops in arid soil of the red planet is one of the important things in order to meet the needs of their life there. Currently, the researchers have shown that growing vegetables in the Martian soil may be to do. Not only that, the food is also safe for human consumption.

Scientists at Wageningen Univeristy, the Netherlands, was able to harvest 10 plants in soil that is similar to the characteristics of Martian soil with abundant results, including radishes, peas, tomatoes, lettuce, arugula, and rye.

Based on trial results, these plants do not contain heavy metals up to dangerous levels. This indicates, future astronauts are likely to emulate the work done by Mark Whatney (played by Matt Damon) in 'The Martian' movie who managed to grow plants on Mars.

As quoted from the Daily Mail on Sunday, June 26, 2016, the researchers cultivate these plants in a greenhouse with temperature, humidity, and constant light like on Mars, but still use the Earth's atmosphere.

"This was done because we hope that the first plants to grow on Mars and the Moon will be done in the underground to protect the plant from a hostile environment, including cosmic radiation," said Wamelink.

NASA and other international space agencies hope to send humans to Mars in 2030 in the long term. And Elon Musk, one of US famous billionaires and the Dutch company Mars One, also plans to create a colony on the red planet.

BMW i8 to go full-electric powered

BMW's commitment to continue to deliver environmentally friendly vehicles apparently continues. After successfully presenting i8 hybrid models two years ago, the famous German car manufacturer again made a breakthrough.

As quoted by Autoblog on Sunday, June 26, 2016, this time the renowned German manufacturer did not present a new model. But BMW did a refresher on the i8 figure. The information relayed on to Autocar comes from a source close to BMW's development boss, Klaus Fröhlich.

Since the first present with a conventional 1.5 liter engine combined with electric motors, the BMW i8 be a model so popular in between other sport cars. As a result the company did a refresher by presenting an electric version.

Currently, the i8 produces 357 horsepower all told, but the electric motors in the prototype are said to produce up to 268 horsepower – each. The electric prototype is to be based on the architecture of a hydrogen prototype, which manages 242 horsepower in total.

The facelifted version of the i8 should arrive next year, with awaited improvements like a new 26Ah lithium ion battery – 6Ah up from the current version. There is also talk of a Qualcomm inductive charging system, and its 7.2kWh operating power is doubled from the current 3.6kWh plug-in setup. 

If the rumormill is to be believed, engine output in the facelifted version would be up ten percent, resulting in 390 horsepower. The use of mobile phones in the dark can lead to blindness?

Two of the women experienced temporary blindness due to frequently check the phone in a dark room. Doctors advised mobile users to always see the phone screen with both eyes if they are in a dark room.

The report published in the New England Journal of Medicine, as quoted by the Independent on Friday, June 24, 2016. In the journal, two women aged 22 and 40 years old reported experiencing "transient smartphone blindness" for months.

Those women complained often of vision loss for up to 15 minutes. After conducting a number of health checks, doctors could not find the causes.

Dr Gordon Plant, an ophthalmologist at an at Moorfield Eye Hospital, UK, said, "I asked, 'what were you doing when this happened?' And the answers of both patients were the same. 

According to him, both often check the phone in bed, lying on her side, with one eye while the other eye is covered by a pillow. "So one of their eyes adapt to light due to see the phone screen, while others adapt in the dark," he said.

When the cell phone is placed, they can not see with the eye that had just worn look the mobile screen. It happened because the eye takes a few minutes to adjust to the other eye that is adaptable in the dark.

While Dr Rahul Khurana, spokesman for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, said that the hypothesis was interesting to be assessed, but the two cases are not enough to serve as a common foundation that see the phone in the darkness with one eye can cause temporary blindness. He also doubts whether the case also happened to all mobile phone users.

Dr Khurana, who acknowledged that he is an avid smartphone user, admitted that he and his wife tried the same scenario, but it is even harder to see the phone screen with one eye in darkness. "Very strange," he said.
