Ducati is also being developed their first electric motorbikes

The era of electric vehicles is now being started by the world's car and motorcycle manufacturers. Even one of large motorcycle manufacturers such as Ducati are also eager to produce electric motorbikes in the near future.

Recently CEO of Ducati, Claudio Domenicali announced the Ducati's plan to produce electric motorbikes. Even claimed those large Italian motorcycle manufacturer is ready to produce these environmentally friendly motorbikes.

"The future is electric, we’re not far from starting series production," said Claudio Domenicali as quoted by Indianautosblog.

After Claudio Domenicalli talked about Ducati electric motorbikes, and then Ducati Chief of Innovation, Pierluigi Zampieri also confirmed that electric motorbikes are a future part of Ducati.

Pierluigi Zampieri even confirmed that the company is currently in the process of working on an electric motorcycle. But unfortunately, he did not want to state clearly whether it would be the first electric motorcycle product from these Italian motorcycle manufacturer.

"The development process can take a long time. Ducati will assemble an electric motorcycle designed with Ducati's own expertise," said Pierluigi Zampieri, as quoted by Indianautosblog, on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

The plan of an electric motorcycle of Ducati is indeed not a new discourse. Previously they had also collaborated with Milan Polytechnic School of Design to make an electric motorcycle design.

Then some time ago it has also been introduced with the name Ducati Zero which is an electric motorcycle concept. It could be that Zero will be included in the Ducati's production line and will be introduced at the upcoming EICMA 2019.

Yes, even though the electric motorcycle market does not yet have promising potential. But looking at the direction of the world's automotive industry, especially two-wheelers producers, it seems that electric motorbikes as the future vehicle seem a necessity to be produced in the near future. Who knows?

An electric dune buggy concept from VW is ready to be present in Geneva

If everything goes according to plan, world automotive lovers will see the VW's first electric car will roll out on the streets at the end of this year. Next year, it is the turn of the electric SUV will stole the public's attention, followed by the modern and electric VW Kombi and electric autonomous sedans in 2022.
The upcoming VW I.D. Buggy will revealed in the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2G8sVzA)
Those four concept cars above were built using the MEB (Modularer Electrobaukasten) platform as a result of VW's own design. This platform is very flexible if you see the different types of cars that are quite drastic on the four concepts above, but VW apparently still not satisfied. Recently, the German auto giant revealed a teaser image of a car concept named VW I.D. Buggy.

As you can see in the picture, this concept car is a dune buggy that is much inspired by the trend of the modified VW Beetle in the 1980s. A variety of distinctive buggy elements are clearly implied from the appearance that is ready to devour the off-road or sandy terrain, even to the side that is not equipped with any doors.

This type of car is definitely not for everyone's consumption, unlike the previous four VW concepts. However, it still used the same MEB platform; VW basically wants to prove that this platform can also help the development of vehicles that fall into the niche category, and which will only be produced in limited numbers.

So far there are no complete details regarding these VW I.D. Buggy. This concept is planned to be presented to the public for the first time at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show held in March.
VW itself has not revealed explicitly about the plan to produce I.D. Buggy. But the other four family members of VW I.D. will be realized as products for the consumers, but we don't see any reason to make this electric buggy is an exception. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ELECTREK]

Awaiting the presence of Pinifarina PF0 hypercar next year

A well-known automotive manufacturer from Italy, Automobili Pininfarina had known being building an all-electric hypercar that is targeted to be the most powerful car in the world, beating all existing records. Those all-electric hypercar given a name Pininfarina PF0 which is not only stunning in terms of appearance, but also fierce in terms of power and speed.

The hypercar starting seen for the first time at the last Pebble Beach Automotive Week event held on August 2018 in Monterey California, the Italian company has begun exhibiting the PF0 finished hypercar or prototype (not sure) to their potential clients in all of America.

By looking at the preview image, from the front and side profiles of this hypercar showing a look that looks unique. Furthermore, the company claims that one of the aesthetic sides of this car lies in the placement of a single LED light that stretches across the front of the car, connecting the more traditional headlights.

Overmore, some time ago it was also reported that the Italian automaker had invested more than €20 million (around US $22.59 million) to support the design, development and production of PF0 and various the company production cars in the future.

These all-electric hypercar will be equipped with an electric motor for each wheel, to be able to produce power up to 1,900 hp (1,927 Ps) and torque of 2,300 Nm. Furthermore, the Italian manufacturer also says that those electric powertrain supplied by a Croatian company, Rimac. So not wonder if the hypercar can complete 100 kph in less than 2 seconds, and 300 kph in 12 seconds with its top speed achievement at the numbers of 402 kph.

With those performance fact above, it seem Pininfarina PF0 like to rival the Tesla Roadster, the next Tesla's electric hypercar that has been announced by Elon Musk. Whereas the hypercar that already exists today, such as the Bugatti Chiron will seem slow if it is true that Pininfarina PF0 will be sold as a road-legal vehicle.

Automobili Pininfarina seems really serious about defeating all the hypercar that has ever been and will be produced by another auto manufacturers. Including the owner of the engine that has designed and sold a 1,888 hp powered hypercar, named Rimac C-2 (Concept Two).

As for the body infrastructure, Pininfarina PF0 will use carbon fiber. Not without reason, this material is able to make the weight of the vehicle much lighter but still strong. Not only has abundant power and above-average acceleration capabilities, the company also applies the fast charger feature on PF0. That way the owner only takes 40 minutes to charge the battery from empty to 80 percent.
So far there is no information regarding when this electric car is sold to the public. And if there are no obstacles, Pininfarina PF0 will debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March next year. In our opinion, that these hypercar worthy to be waiting for. How's about you? See you soon next year! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORAUTHORITY]

Now they are again displaying the figure of a sophisticated all-electric concept car named the Audi RSQ e-tron. On this concept car looks to take some style from the PB18 e-tron. Yes, Audi Design and a team of French designers, led by Gaël Bruzyn have collaborated with Blue Sky Studios to make this concept car look more futuristic.

The concept car appeared and taken a role in the 20th Century Fox animated action movie titled 'Spies in Disguise,' and starred by an American actor Will Smith through his voice who played as the best world's secret agent ever named Lance Sterling.
Audi's technological sophistication is shown in this animated film. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2Q7b7oP)
He is almost the same as other super spies such as James Bond and others who always equip themselves with sophisticated equipment that has been pinned on the latest technologies. And this Audi RSQ e-tron car is one of the equipment owned by him.

In addition to the eccentric figure of Lance Sterling, there is also the figure of a crazy scientist named Walter Beckett who also taken a role in this 20th Century Fox animated  film.

Indeed, beyond its electric motorization, the Audi RSQ e-tron puts forwarded the artificial intelligence technology that is pinned on it. It described in this animated film, that this car relies on the advances automotive technology such as, hologram-type instrumentation.

Frank Rimili, Audi head of Exterior Design for Concept Vehicles who introduced the Audi RSQ e-tron, said that Audi took a digital approach forward thinking for the design process, both for the development of fictional content and in production modeling studios.

And in Audi Design, they combine advanced digital visualization techniques with manual precision. This allows them to implement futuristic design ideas with the same precision in developing virtual fictional concept cars such as the Audi RSQ e-tron.

In terms of design, this concept car looks like a combination of the Audi PB18 e-tron 2018 and R8 2019 concepts and looks like a mid-engined supercar with a digital cockpit and a typical e-tron front-end. And inside its cabin, there are two sporty seats with a camera on the dash that replaces the traditional rear view mirror, the hologram speedometer, and a large number of screens mounted on the dashboard.

Even though it has an autonomous driving mode, this sports car is equipped with a gear lever and steering wheel, allowing the driver to control the vehicle when needed.

Audi designed the car with the help of Blue Sky Studios, creator Spies in Disguise and praised the Audi RSQ e-tron as a very charming concept and the perfect car for super spies with all the technological sophistication it carries.
Audi has just introduced this animated film with a new teaser trailer which was launched on Thursday, November 1, 2018. But it seems we have to wait a few more months to be able to watch the action of Lance Sterling while riding the Audi RSQ e-tron. Due to 'Spies in Disguise' will be premiered in September 2019.

Please understand, if this car will not become a reality, moreover being produced. Because this car is only a virtual concept car that only exists in the films.. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | TOP SPEED | CARSALES]

A Bulgarian super insane electric-powered car

It seems that now not only Tesla or Rimac will produce electric hypercars. But now there is an automotive manufacturer from Bulgaria named Alieno also preparing an electric-powered hypercar concept that promises the most savage power ever.
All-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar promising super insane power up to 5,221 hp. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2RaAyuq)
As reported by Carscoops, Alieno is a Bulgarian company that was founded in 2015, and the Alieno word itself is an Italian word that refers to an alien. And the company is also said wants to rival Lamborghini's success. And its logo at glance similar to the Lambo logo that is shaped like a shield, but by showing the face of an alien instead a raging bull.

Back to the electric hypercar, the Bulgarian company even claims that their first hypercar called Alieno Arcanum, will have a performance exceeding the Devel Sixteen, a Dubai-made hypercar with a 12,300 cc, V16 engine that can spout power up to 5,007 horsepower.

In the company release as quoted by Jalopnik, Alieno's CEO, Ahmed Merchev said that they have a mission to create a hypercar with alien technology from the future for the present. The alien technology is a representation of the ADAS (Advanced driver-Assistance system) system, which is a set of systems that are the main features to guide each driver so they can improve driving skills and explore the overall potential of this hypercar.

There are 4 variants currently being worked on by Alieno today, the first model is called RP2 (RP is short for Raw Power) which has power of 2,610 hp and 4,440 Nm of torque, the second model RP3 has up to 3,842 hp and 5,919 Nm of torque, then the third RP4 model which has a power of 4,351 hp and 7,400 Nm of torque, while the latest RP5 model is predicted to be a whiz model that promises bursts of power up to 5,221 hp and 8,799 Nm of torque with a top speed of 487 km/h or approx 303 mph. W..O..W!

The power above 5,000 horsepower is a series of fantastic power numbers. And of course by one electric motor definitely will not be able to spew that much power. For this reason Alieno put 6 electric motors on each wheel so that a total of 24 electric motors were installed in this hypercar.
Top view of all-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2SdpBVZ)
The ability of each electric motor can switch to one another for efficiency or cooling. Even if you want all-wheel drive to function to produce the gargantuan system, which is able to distribute all the strength of the front wheels or rear wheels.

By using an 800 volt battery system, which can be used for high energy and made from lithium polymer graphere cells and a supercapacitor. And it has a varied size, between 60 to 180 kWh, which is claimed to make this hypercar run as far as 634 miles or 1,020 km with the full-charged battery condition.

To be able to make this hypercar speeding like the wind, the body structure and frame are built by using carbon fiber material while the chassis is reinforced with kevlar. So it is not surprising that this hypercar has a fairly light weight which is only around 1,619 kg.
Rear side view of all-electric Alieno Arcanum hypercar. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2rNB6bg)
Then the shape, curve of the body even made in such a way that is similar to the Lamborghini Aventador, and then added the big-sized rear spoiler to maximize aerodynamics and downforces. The Alieno Arcanum car performance is also supported by robotic suspension, double wishbones, pushrods, adjustable anti-roll bars, brake devices with hydraulic systems, and others.

Then each variant will be offered 3 modification options, namely STR (Street), TRC (Track), and RCE (Race). Alieno also said that they could prepare a special variant to take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in the LMP1 category, if regulation allows the electric cars to compete in those racing event.

Another thing that makes this Bulgarian land jet become special is where each unit is assembled by using human hands, aka hand made, while other supporting components or drivetrains are produced by themselves at their factory in Bulgaria.
At present, Alieno Arcanum hypercar can be ordered at prices ranging from €750 thousand - €1.5 million (around Rp.12.6 billion - Rp.25.2 billion). Are you interested in having it? If yes, don't forget to check it out and enlisting your order on  the company sites.

But so far, many parties have doubts about the existence of this Bulgarian hypercar project, but better for us to wait when this hypercar is released if it is really being to produce. There is no loss, if we'll be patient a moment. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ALIENO | NEWATLAS | CARSCOOPS | JALOPNIK]
