Don't ask the price if U wanna have the last Bugatti EB110 SS

Some time ago, as quoted by Motorauthority that Bugatti will present a new supercar at the 2019 Monterey Car Week which will start on August 11, 2019. And reportedly this French premium car manufacturer will make it in limited numbers, namely as many as 40 units.

According to this company, that the launch of this supercar is in accordance with their plans to introduce two new cars every year. And this year, after introducing the Bugatti La Voiture Noire at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. It is likely that this upcoming limited edition supercar will be the second.

Is that the Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans Edition? Nobody knows yet...! And for sure, it is a model that was deliberately created as a tribute to commemorate an important day for those French auto company. Here's the teaser image from the French company's Instagram account which slightly reveals about the upcoming Bugatti supercar.
Because there has been no leaked infos about the Bugatti's new supercar, and now we better waiting up to its time come. And  meanwhile on this occasion we invite you to recall a great supercar model was ever made by Bugatti in the 1990s.

Long before the arrival of Veyron and Chiron, when the French automotive company was in a difficult condition because of the death of the owner. At that time in the 1990s, when Romano Artioli, an Italian businessman who acquired the company decided to make Bugatti as an exclusive manufacturer of limited edition sports cars.

This was later proven by the birth of the Bugatti EB110 in 1991. This car was deliberately produced to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the company founder 'Ettore Bugatti.' The car uses a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with active aero, pinned a 3.5 liter quad-turbo V12 engine capable of producing power of 552 hp (in the standard version) to drive all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Now this car is arguably to be one of the most sought after car models by the world's automotive collectors, aside from the fact that the car only made as many 139 units, including 39 units for its ultimate version, or the SS model. Yes, the Bugatti EB110 also has the very rare ultimate version, which is known 'Super Sport' or 'Sport Stradale' models.

For this SS version, Bugatti added a larger injector to its V12 engine, a new ECU and a new exhaust system that was not too tight. The result, the Bugatti EB110 SS is capable of spraying power up to 603 hp, the number was up from the standard version of only 553 hp, and torque of 479 lb-ft (650 Nm).

The Bugatti EB110 SS also carried out a reduction in weight to weigh 150 kg lighter than the GT type. This car has a weight of around 1,620 kilograms compared to the Veyron and Chiron whose weights are in the 2000 kg figure. This was achieved thanks to the use of carbon fiber materials on various body panels, magnesium rims, fixed rear wings, and simplified the interior details.
Rear side view of 1995 Bugatti EB110 SS. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2YKVfg9)
Bugatti claims the acceleration from 0 to 100 kph can be done in just 3.26 seconds. While its top speed is able to penetrate the number of 355 kph. With such speed numbers, the EB110 SS was recognized as the world's fastest production car in 1995 before the record was broken by McLaren F1 with a top speed of 386 kph.
Rear view of 1995 Bugatti EB110 SS. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2MFfoSo)
Bugatti EB110 is arguably the last model of the French manufacturer before acquired by the German auto giant, Volkswagen AG in 1998. And the car with chassis number 39040 is considered as the last of EB110 SS, which was built by Bugatti in 1995. The supercar was completed at Grigio Chiaro Met with two tone interiors and was already in the hands of an Italian automotive collector since 2003.
And in early 2019, those last Bugatti EB110 SS model was sold by Girardo & Co. with the note "Price Upon Application" which means that the price will be notified if anyone really wants to buy it. And We can be sure a hundred percents that the price is won't be cheap. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORAUTHORITY | SUPERCARBLOG | MOTOR1]

Don't be underestimated these 'Mosquito'....!

Is there still a small niche in the world's automotive market for limited-produced supercars, which are more worthy of being on the track, made by a startup manufacturer, which has cost more than US $1 million? Yes, there's a the Czech Republic startup company named Performance Solutions that seems to have a great desire to play in the world's supercars industries.
Performance Solutions 'Mosquito' supercar, a street legal racing car which promises speed performance. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2OBP4eE)
Some time ago, those Czech Republic company revealed its plan to build what is called a street legal racing car. And uniquely, the car will be named "Mosquito". Yep, that is indeed a unique name for a supercar. The Mosquito name itself was once used for the name of a British fighter plane called De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito during the World War II, this aircraft is very famous for its speed and light construction.
Performance Solutions 'Mosquito' supercar in the 'Paint Splash' liveries and only 18 samples will be made later. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KoFCFQ)
Back to the supercar, this car was designed by Tomáš Sabáček, and in fact the Mosquito supercar was also inspired by the British famous aircraft above in the sense that the car will have a very light construction as well. The result, the Mosquito supercar does have a weight of only 974 kilograms (2,147 lbs), because the whole body is made mostly using carbon fiber materials. And that is the most impressive thing for a supercar that will have power of up to 600 hp (608 PS) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque from its naturally aspirated V8 engine.
Performance Solutions 'Mosquito' supercar in the 'De Havilland Throwback' liveries is in recognition of the aircraft in WWII era which the vehicle was named after. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KoFCFQ)
As quoted from Carscoop, Ryan Thoma, as Business Development Manager of Performance Solutions, said that the company had not been chosen the engine yet. Even so, to keep the car's weight low, the engine will be equipped with a single clutch racing gearbox and operated by using paddle shifters.
The Mosquito’s only desire is to lap quicker than its competitors, and in order to do so, it needs to be light on its feet.. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KoFCFQ)
So, how fast is this Mosquito supercar? The Performance Solutions estimates that the car will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and will reach a top speed of more than 320 kph (199 mph). Sounds like a good number for a drag race, but will the car's performance number be that good while driving on the racing circuit?

It should be seen at the same performance numbers, because the Mosquito supercar also plans to be equipped with an Active Ride Control system, which according to the company will allow the car's suspension and aerodynamic subsystem to work in the right synchrony, so that it can actively minimize obstacles and maximize downforce in the same time.

From the rendering images, we able to see clearly that the Mosquito supercar displays an aero racing kit with a large rear wing, a large front splitter, and has a middle tail fin as well. Then, the cabin will also look like a racing car in general, thanks to the adjustable dashboard including the head-up display and bucket racing seats which will be built entirely using the carbon fiber materials.
Performance Solutions 'Mosquito' supercar weight would be tipped around 974 kilograms as it would heavily use full carbon fiber body. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KoFCFQ)
However, the project is currently in an earlier stages, and the company has just begun the car's design phase. There are still 18 months left until the car is completely built. And Performance Solutions plans to make 18 units only of Mosquito supercar, each of which is made according to the buyer's wishes with an estimated price reachs up to 7 digits.
Currently Performance Solutions has also begun to open a path for ordering cars through its official website. And the latest news, the Mosquito supercar will join and compete in the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race in future. Let's wait and see...! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS | CARSCOOPS | DRIVERS MAGAZINE]

Will the Ecurie Ecosse LM69 retro-styled supercar able to reap its own success story?

Several years ago, the Jaguar Classic had ever introduced 9 units of Jaguar XKSS continuation series to complement the original 25 units. Yes as we all knew, Jaguar only made 16 cars in the late 1950s, then 9 other units were destroyed in a fire at the Browns Lane factory.
Ecurie Ecosse LM69 retro-styled supercar inspired by unsuccessfully Jaguar XJ13 racing car of the 1960s. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KeA9mx)
Then there's another Jaguar car model that has also sad story, the Jaguar XJ13 which was made in the mid-1960s. This is the Jaguar's only racing car that really didn't get the chance to compete because of the changes in homologation rules at the time.

Yes, these plump racing car used the V12 engine was supposed to compete in the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race event, but the project was eventually canceled. Until 1971, and the only Jaguar XJ13 was built then sent to the MIRA track in the United States to take part in a promotional film for the Jaguar E-Type Series 3, but unfortunately the car had an accident.
Ecurie Ecosse LM69 retro-styled supercar made of composite materials for the body to make it lighter than the original XJ13. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KeA9mx)
Then the Jaguar's first front-engined racing car was fully restored several years after the accident, although those British auto company said that the restoration model didn't have the exact similar specifications as the original car.

And on this year, there is a Scottish company called Ecurie Ecosse intending to revive the  authentic spirit of Jaguar XJ13 by displaying a retro-style supercar inspired by the 1960s Jaguar racing car models.
Ecurie Ecosse LM69 retro-styled supercar used the same engine of the Jaguar XJ13, ie a quad-cam 5.0 liters V12 engine. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2KeA9mx)
The initial idea behind of the LM69 car making was to make a racing car that could really compete at the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race in 1969, if the Ecurie Ecosse had an opportunity to build its own racing car at the time.

Despite the initial idea as a racing car, this handmade LM69 model is actually a street-legal car - at least it can be used in the UK - and will be produced in a limited numbers, ie 25 units only.

The LM69 car figure as reimagines of a supercar in the late 1960s, and Ecurie Ecosse said that the making of this car was in accordance with the existing FIA homologation regulations in that time, with everything under the LM69 skin also displaying various technologies available in the late 60s.
Ecurie Ecosse LM69 retro-styled supercar has many differences with the Jag XJ13, such as a wider wheels and tires beside composite materials using for the body. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2YFwQwt)
From its shape, it is definitely not an exact replica of the Jaguar XJ13, because it has a fixed roof, rear wing, and winglets to boost aerodynamic factor, along with wider rims and tires. Furthermore, the car is made from a composite material that is applied to the body so that makes the LM69 lighter than the original car.

Just like its inspiration source, the Ecurie Ecosse LM69 uses a quad-cam 5.0 liters V12 engine, but those engine installed in the middle of the car body. Till this day the car's detailed specifications haven't been revealed yet. And the Scottish company only said the possibility to make their own bored and stroked 7.3 liters engine for these car.
The LM69 will be officially launched at the International Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, London on 6-8 September 2019. And its price figures for these retro supercar haven't been revealed yet, but it's believed will drain deep enough the pocket of those who want to have this car. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ECURIE ECOSSE | ZIGWHEELS | MOTOR1]

Now is the turn of the real car will be officially displayed to public at the 2019 Monterey Car Week event. Surely it will certainly make us all curious, what a Pagani-made hypercar may look like that will make the lovers of speed feel as if their adrenaline is satisfied. And Pagani calls its BC models "tributes to scientific research, beauty, and uniqueness."

For example, let's say the engine carried is a V12 6.0L twin-turbo engine made by Mercedes-AMG. It can blowing power reaches up to 791 hp with a torque of 1,050 Nm. Its acceleration from rest to 60 mph only in 2.8 seconds and top speed of 220 mph. That's superb numbers of achievement if compared the coupe version.

All those power performance is channeled to the rear wheels through a seven-speed XTrac transverse automatic transmission with an electro-mechanical differential. The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC has a weight of 2,756 pounds (1,250 kg), which is significantly less than the 2,976-pound regular Huayra coupe and 2,922-pound regular Huayra Roadster, but heavier than the 2,685-pound Huayra BC coupe.
Pagani Huayra Roadster BC cabin will be exposed many lightweight and luxurious materials such as carbon fiber, leather and suede. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2K8EDuB)
Its lightweight body thanks to the monocoque construction made of ultra-light and super-strong carbo-triax HP62 and carbo-titanium HP62 G2 with front and rear tubular steel subframes.
Pagani Huayra Roadster BC's transmission lever uses high quality wood materials. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2K8EDuB)
The suspension is set up with forged aluminum alloy independent double wishbones, helical springs, and electronically controlled shock absorbers. It sits on forged monoblock aluminum alloy wheels (20-inch in the front, 21-inch in the back), which are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires (265/30 in front, 355/25 in back).
Pagani Huayra Roadster BC exterior is indeed very complex with the aim of producing the best aerodynamics factors. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2K8EDuB)
The Huayra Roadster BC exterior is indeed very complex with the aim of producing the best aerodynamics factors which features a redesigned wing, tweaked inlets, and a new aerodynamics kit. Pagani claims it generates up to 1,102 pounds of downforce at 174 mph (280 kph). Pagani claims the Roadster BC can handle more than 1.9 g of lateral force during constant running, with peak readings of up to 2.2 g.
Oh yeah, the Huayra Roadster BC adheres to a removable roof, not a folding one. Well, when notice the cabin will be exposed many lightweight and luxurious materials such as carbon fiber, leather and suede. And then there's high quality wood materials which can be seen on the transmission lever, further the gauges layout in the car's dashboard looks complicated, but informative.
Reportedly, the Huayra Roadster BC will be made by Pagani in limited numbers, ie 40 units worldwide. And unmitigated those car then sold at a price of €3.7 million or equivalent to Rp. 57 billion. But seemly those price is taken lightly by Pagani's consumers. This is proven, all of them already sold out now. WOW..!!! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOBLOG]

CCC Volant, another American 800-horsepower superbeast

Florida is home to quite a number of supercar owners, but few can say that their cars were actually built in the US. That won't be a problem for upcoming Volant supercar buyers from Custom Crafted Cars (CCC).
Custom Crafted Cars (CCC) being work on Vaydor's successor which has now been revealed as the Volant supercar. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/314uVPt)
These St. Petersburg-based company started out life building turnkey examples of the Infiniti G35-based Vaydor G35 kit car. However, CCC President Melvin Juarbe has always been interested in building his own supercar, and so he and his team in 2018 began working on a Vaydor's successor. That successor has now been revealed as CCC Volant.
The Volant supercar will be powered by a tuned version of the LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine which is usually found on the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/314uVPt)
Unlike the Vaydor G35, which even though its looks really packs the engine in front of the cabin because of its Infiniti G35 underpinnings, the new Volant will be a mid-engine car. It will also boast a carbon fiber body and a "Formula One-inspired" suspension, which we define as a pushrod style setup.

The Volant will be powered by a tuned version of the LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine which is usually found on the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed Mendola sequential transmission system to channel power to the rear wheels only.
Those engine will be mated to a 6-speed Mendola sequential transmission system to channel power to the rear wheels only. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/314uVPt)
The Florida-based auto company claims an output of 800 horsepower for Volant, which according to the company must provide 0-60 mph acceleration in under 3.0 seconds and the top speed exceeds 225 mph. Stopping power will come from a set of Brembo brakes haused inside DPE forged wheels.
The Volant supercar claimed has an output of 800 horsepower, so it able to has accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds and reached top speed numbers of 225 mph. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/314uVPt)
The company has not revealed the interior yet, only says there will be a “Tesla-style” center stack and a “Mercedes-Benz-style” instrument cluster. The company also claims there will be luxuries such as heated seats, surround-view cameras, and WiFi connections.

How much can one spent to get one unit of Volant? The starting price is set of US. $250,000. But there's no infos about when the car will be delivered.
Even there's no official statement submitted by them regarding the development of these Volant supercar (in their official site). Perhaps, due to those car is still in developing stages (not in the dream). We'll wait and see (while hoping that it wasn't someone's dream in broad daylight). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CCC | MOTORAUTHORITY | ROB REPORT]

An Austrian old marque tries to return through its unique-shaped car

In addition to presenting stunning vintage cars, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este held on the shores of Lake Como also shows a variety of concept cars and prototypes. And this year, the event marked the inaugural appearance of a very interesting concept car named Austro Daimler Bergmeister ADR 630 Shooting Grand.
All-new Austro Daimler Bergmeister ADR 630 Shooting Grand made its debut at the 2019 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LPsqgH)
This unique car was made by an Austrian company named Austro Daimler in an effort to revive a long-dead brand. Yes, Austro Daimler is an Austrian car maker that operated between 1899 and 1934 and was known as a subsidiary of the Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft (DMG) which is now famous for the Mercedes-Benz marque.
All-new Austro Daimler Bergmeister ADR 630 Shooting Grand takes its petrol engine, windshield and suspension from the Mercedes AMG GT. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LPsqgH)
Given the connection to the Mercedes-Benz holding company, it is not surprising that Bergmeister (German word for "Hillclimb Champion") pins a gullwing door-types. Actually, the door handle was taken directly from the Mercedes SLS AMG. In addition to the gullwing doors, other design highlights include a very long hood, up to the LED headlamps and slim taillights.
All-new Austro Daimler Bergmeister ADR 630 Shooting Grand, an awkward combination of a GT car and Shooting Brake and classed as a "Shooting Grand". (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2LPsqgH)
Its design can be said as an awkward combination of a GT car and Shooting Brake, and the Bergmeister ADR 630 is classed as a "Shooting Grand". Besides that, the car takes its petrol engine, windshield and suspension from the Mercedes AMG GT, which rolls with a 4 liter biturbo V8 engine setup. An apparently detuned version of this engine is augmented with a monstrous 600 kilowatts (805 hp) worth of electric thrust to produce 1,200 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque.
Apparently, the first Bergmeister ADR 630 had been sold, and then the company intended to build a few more samples in the near future. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUSTRO DAIMLER | AUTOBLOG]
