Here's the first electric-powered car seriously made and sold by Toyota

Beyond Zero Back to talking about the Toyota cars, due to recently the Japanese automaker launched a new electric car called the Toyota bZ4X complete with its specification datas, variants, and prices. And according to the automaker, the 'bZ' name carried by the car is an abbreviation of Beyond Zero has the meaning of the manufacturer's vision beyond zero to create future vehicles that are very environmentally friendly.

Furthermore the car with a capacity of 5 passengers is powered with an AC synchronous electric generator type. So for the front-wheel drive version has a maximum output of 150 kW, while the AWD version reaches 80 kW. Both types of bZ4X drives are powered by a 355 volt Lithium-ion battery. While the total power generated reaches 71.4 kWh. According to Toyota, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in 30 minutes, and for the car's charging can also be done using solar panels embedded in the roof of the car (if attached).

According to claims issued by Toyota, this electric-powered car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 8.4 seconds for the Front-Wheels Drive (FWD) version and 7.7 seconds for the All-Wheels Drive (AWD) version. Toyota also guarantees that the specifications of the bZ4X battery are very safe thanks to the use of high-resistance coolant which can prevent fires caused by electrical short circuits.

This Toyota electric-powered car has a turning radius of 5.7 meters and reportedly weighs 2,195 kg for front-wheel drive and 2,275 kg for the AWD version. Now, with that weight, the front-wheel drive version can cover a distance of up to 500 km, while the AWD version can cover a distance of 460 km.
