After Mercedes Benz spawn the AMG Vision GT, and BMW with Vision GT, and Volkswagen is relying GTI Roadster, now Mitsubishi's turn which designed the XR-PHEV Evolution Vision GT to compete with the German trio. The car was built from XR-PHEV designs that introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013. Concepts that bear the plug-in hybrid technology, it had a design that incorporates some of the line up. The end result, sporty car like coupe-sedan. While giving the word "Evolution" for Mitsubishi to boost performance sedan concept that transforms into a fighter in Dakar Rally.

The design is done jointly by the two groups, namely Advanced Vehicle R&D and Aerodynamic Engineering Development. Two of this group typically collaborate to build a sports car for racing like the WRC and the Dakar Rally. Even the Dakar Rally legends like Hiroshi Masuoka is also involved in the development of this car.

In appearance, the car adopts a solid impression, especially on the front. Very futuristic arch grille with the bumper line up. Inspiration is a runner who was getting shot at the starting line to get a second impression, which is tight.

In the video, shown not only that this car can be accelerated on asphalt tracks, but also a solid dirt road, gravel and even snow. Mitsubishi really want to give advantages to this car than its competitors in the game that will be released this June 2014.
There is no detailed explanation about power, but the plug-in hybrid engine will be combined with the 8-speed transmission. By tradition, wheel drive system embracing all-wheel-drive that uses S-AWC vehicle dynamics control system technology that was first introduced on the Evo VII.
Indeed, this face is only a concept and fantasy, just like the German trio who has not revealed plans produced. But on the other hand, mentions rumors that the successor Lancer Evolution will be more towards sport sedan than SUV, or was it inspired of the XR-PHEV Evolution Vision GT? *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOBLOG]
