After 1 year in space, how's the Tesla Roadster now?

As we all know, that a year ago SpaceX first launched Falcon Heavy rockets into space. The launch of the rocket was a success, especially when the Falcon Heavy also brought the latest projects of SpaceX, Starship and Super Heavy with the contents of Elon Musk's personal Tesla Roadster on those journey.

The luxury car also carries a Starman mannequin that sits behind the wheel and flies through space. How's the Tesla Roadster now? As quoted from BGR, on Friday, Feb 2, 2019, the whereisroadster page reveals where and the latest news from those Tesla Roadster.

Looking at the statistics of the page, the Tesla Roadster position is currently 226 million miles from Earth and 163 million miles from Mars. In fact, there are reports of the Tesla Roadster speed on those space journey, ie 5,149 miles per hour.

Of course, for a car in general those speed number is very fast and won't slow down anytime soon. In total the distance traveled by the Tesla Roadster has gone as far as 473.3 million miles. It was also mentioned, it took around 557 days for the Tesla Roadster car to go around the Sun once.

This car is also projected to continue to travel through space for a very long time. As reported by LiveScience, scientists believe, this Roadster will return to Earth later or maybe enter Venus. But reportedly, it took millions of years for the car to come back again or instead switch to another planet.
It should be noted, when the Tesla Roadster car finished its journey later, of course the shape is not as good as when it leaving the Earth. Yes, this Tesla Roadster might look good while left the Earth, but given the hard and unpredictable conditions of the outer space it predicted could make the car break or even Starman mannequins also damaged.

The question now is actually whether the purpose of those Roadster was included in the space trip? Now, We don't want to speculate on this, and we will let you answer it by yourself. Peace and Out. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LIVESCIENCE]

And the new supercar is believed to be displayed in 2023, when Ferrari, Lamborghini and other supercar car makers will launch their latest supercar electric model. Its presence is also a substitute for their existing i8 series today. And reported that if the supercar which no have name yet was in the top of list of the BMW's M division.

"If you are an engineer, once in your life you would want to make a super-sports car. I think partial electrification will allow that," said BMW board member responsible for product development, Klaus Frohlich.

"If we have an electric drive unit that is very compact and very strong, then the carbon fiber chassis, for example, i8's and has a high-performance engine, then you can combine it into a real performance package," he added later.

It's too early to talk about the power produced, but this newest BMW supercar is expected to have a power of around 700 hp. This can be easily places it above the M8 which is equipped with 600 hp. This also makes it more expensive than the existing flagship GT and i8 series.

"M will also be an electric car in the future, but we will also work hard on the partial electric sector in this M car," said Klaus Frohlich.

"This is because they not only need acceleration in a straight line. They have to drive corners and race tracks, so heavy weight is still a problem and these electric vehicles still have serious problems regarding power coverage." he said as the closing.

In conclusion, BMW is now preparing to launch a sports model with a hybrid/plug-in engine and light construction is the first step for BMW's M division to use an electric engine and presenting high-performance cars without emissions is their main focus. Behind the hood is a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. Yes, even without a turbo, this car is capable of producing the highest power of 769 PS at 8,500 rpm and torsional moment reaches 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The overall power is sent to all wheels through a single clutch 7-speed automatic transmission system.

Instead of applying an electric folding roof, the Aventador SVJ Roadster prefers to use the removable hard top manually. Lamborghini also made it from RTM high pressure carbon fiber material. Its weight is only 6 kg, so the owner is easy to lift it. The component can be stored in the front trunk.

Interestingly, the Italian raging bull logoed auto manufacturer set the rear window down, without the need to remove the roof. Certainly the owner can hear the roar of its V12 engine more clearly.

"Driving the Aventador SVJ is basically as interesting, but with additional exclusivity in the form of an open roof option. With the same performance when the roof is closed or open, the Aventador SVJ Roadster combines coupe dynamics with the unique spirit of the Lamborghini roadster," said Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Stefano Domenicali as quoted of Motor1.

This feature uses water dams and flaps on intakes and other elements. The point is to increase top speed, maximize downforce, help braking and control when maneuvering at corners.
The braking system entrusts carbon ceramics with a diameter of 400 mm and 6 piston calipers for the front wheels. While behind it is smaller, 380 mm with four piston calipers. Still on its leg sector, the rims differ in size by 20 inches installed in front and 21 inches behind with a lighweight alloy profile.
