Is this the real face of Jesus?

Do you recognize the face of the man below? At first glance you may be wondering who actually man's beard and black hair. You may also be surprised if there are claims that this is the real face of Jesus Christ, a key figure in the Christian faith.

Forensic Anthropologist Richard Neave, this is what
Jesus Christ may have looked like. Using information
from skulls found at Israeliachaeological sites, this is
his rendition. What do you think? (Picture from:

The man's face was vastly different from the depictions of Jesus in a wide range of modern Christian literature that exists today. During this time, Jesus was described by the figure of a white man has blond hair and long beard. While the image of the man above is based on data forensics of a skull Jewish men in the first century AD. The author is a British anatomical artist.

The artist Richard Neave, a former professor at Manchester University, made a face image after examining three skulls of Jews around the region of Galilee, Israel. About ten years ago, Neave borrowed the methods used by forensic experts to identify victims of crime to draw a face which he claims to be Jesus.

Indeed, the drawing of the man who claimed to be the real face of Jesus is not new. Having had circulated some time ago, that image is now back busy discussed in social media.
Dr Neave, formerly from the University of Manchester, used techniques typically used to solve crimes, to create the portrait as well as fragments of information, such as a Biblical account saying Jesus closely resembled his disciples. Professor Neave who is a forensic anthropology expert, by using computerized tomography to create slices of the skull. By evaluating the skull thickness in certain parts, he makes the skin and muscles of the face.
Dr Neave (pictured) and his team X-rayed three Semite skulls from the time, previously found by Israeli archaeologists. They used computer technology to work out how the muscles and skin should look, upon which they based a 3D model (seen on the computer screen) and a clay bust of Christ (right). (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1fgSUs)
Not only that. Neave also researching on the images of ancient archaeological sites to determine the color of the hair of Jesus. He also studied the Bible to estimate how long Jesus's hair.
Italian police 'reveal' what Jesus looked like based on computer forensics and the world’s most famous relic. Using the Turin Shroud, the supposed burial cloth of Jesus, police investigators have generated a photo-fit image from the negative facial image on the material. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1fgUeS)
There is still no definitive answer to questions such as whether the real face of Jesus Christ. Earlier this year, some Italian police investigators also try to reconstruct the face of Jesus with the help of the Shroud of Turin, the supposed burial cloth of Jesus..

However, the results of the reconstruction made by the Italian police were very different from the results of facial reconstruction made by Professor Neave. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DAILYMAIL | INDEPENDENT]

Dubai ready to realize the future transport system

Dubai is currently looking for the future public transport system capable of carrying passengers at speeds in excess of aircraft. Although it sounds like science fiction, but one of the largest cities in the United Arab Emirates was planning to host an international competition in September.
Dubai will be the host of "Build Earth Live" for the Hyperloop Designs in next September. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1d6UAD)
In that competition, the design must be presented using a pipe for transporting people and goods in a fast-speed capsule known as Hyperloop. The transportation system use electricity that will move the capsule or autonomous vehicle along a pipe in a low pressure environment to achieve a minimum speed of 1,200 kilometers per hour.

Hyperloop is the concept of high-speed transportation system proposed by Elon Musk, who also the figures behind the success of Tesla and SpaceX. He made a patent-free technology in order to encourage international scientific collaboration around a futuristic concept.

Future of Transportation
Dubai looking for someone who can design a similar transport system that will bring people from Dubai to Fujariah (have the distance of 165 kilometer) in just 10 minutes. As quoted by CNN on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, now the trips from Dubai to Fujariah took more than two hours. And experts say, the cost to build the 'Hyperloop' pipeline will be much cheaper than making the conventional fast train.

In response to that desire, Dubai Future Foundation will be the host of "Build Earth Live" for the Hyperloop Designs in next September. The event will be filled by the presentations of futuristic transportation design by the team of engineers and scientists from around the world to the judges.

"Dubai becoming the host of this international event as part of the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to make the UAE and Dubai as a place to create solutions futuristic relevant to human life," said Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, Mohammed Al Gergawi.

"This competition is a great opportunity to explore innovative ideas in the field of intelligent transportation," he added.
As reported by the official WAM news agency, Al Gerawi said that the development of future transport solutions will effectively change the way people deal with daily work, and transportation. Al Gerawi also added, it will trigger a rapid global economic growth.

The company behind the pipeline system, Hyperloop One has the ambition to create a network of high speed transportation of goods and passengers around the world. In June, the company signed an agreement to explore the high-capacity transportation system in Moscow, Russia. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | GOVERNMENT OF DUBAI | CNN]

A strange and rare fish found in Minahasa

The discovery of the rare fish in Minahasa by Adj. First. Insp. Jefrry Nggala, an officer with the Wanea Police in Manado, North Sulawesi taken seriously by universities and research institutes.

A shark researcher from the Research Center for Oceanography, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia/LIPI), Fahmi said that the fish found in Kalasey beach, Minahasa regency, on Sunday, August 7, 2016, is worth examining.

As previously reported by Kompas, Nggala find the odd-shaped fish in the dead condition. Allegedly, the death occurred shortly before the fish found. "When I found the fish, its eyes were purple," said Nggala.

Recognizing the characteristic peculiarities of the fish, Nggala then take a picture, upload the photos to Facebook, and search for information about it on the internet. As the results of his googling showed that fish measuring about 60 cm is 'Oxynotus brunensis,' or Prickly Dogfish whose status is nearly extinct.

Fahmi, who contacted by Kompas, on Monday, August 8, 2016, confirmed that the fish are indeed the type of spiny sharks are now increasingly rare.

"This is a new finding. Kind of like it usually is in temperate zone (in Australia and New Zealand waters)," said Fahmi.

Fahmi had contacted his fellow researchers from Australia and New Zealand. "They wonder such kind in the waters of Indonesia," he said. The discovery of brown-bodied fish in the waters of Minahasa can be construed as a "new record" of the Oxynotus genus in Indonesia. However, it can also be more than a new record. "It could be a new species if it is different from the type that is already there," he explained.

Fahmi hoped, the fish specimens that have the characteristics of large and spiny backs were stored because it can be a valuable research material. Meanwhile, N Gustaf M Mamangkey, a marine researcher at the Sam Ratulangi University in Manado said that the university had secured the rare fish specimens.

"At this time, the specimen stored at the Faculty of Fisheries and Oceanography, Sam Ratulangi University, and is planned to be carried out an 'autopsy' by the university expert teams and relatives in the near future," he said.

"Why was found stranded in the waters of North Sulawesi, let us wait for the answer together," he added through Facebook on Monday. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | KOMPAS]

Will the 'Keating Berus' supercar debut next year?

In the near future, Bolton-based supercar manufacturer Keating Supercars will present a road monster named 'Keating Berus.' Although there was less familiar, but it will come with outstanding performance. The vehicle' name comes from Vipera Berus - the scientific name for a common European viper.

Claimed to have a light weight, super speed, as well as an elegant look similar to F1 cars. Reportedly, Keating Berus is a supercar that has power up to 2,000 hp and will be unveiled at the Top Marques Monaco show in April next year. Is it true?

As we all know that Keating Supercars introduce his first supercar named TKR at the London Motor Show 2006. This supercar even said to be equivalent to the Saleen S7 and Pagani Zonda.

Then in 2011, the company also introduced their ZKR series. The car said to be capable of producing up to 650 hp and is able to sprint from 0-100 km/h with a relatively short time, which is 3.6 seconds.

The most controversial is when they release a supercar named Bolt in 2014. The car is claimed to be capable of reaching a top speed of 340 mph or 547 km/h by using LS7 V8 twin turbo engine with a capacity of 7,000 cc, but soon seemed to disappear from the news media.
And in 2017, Keating Supercars will present the Berus supercar in three versions, namely a naturally-aspirated unit giving 650 hp. Adding twin-turbochargers to this will push power up to 2,000 hp (of course), while an electric version promises green motoring with more than 400 hp on tap.

Unfortunately, the company just released the rendering images that reveal a sleek coupe design is decorated with many of the characteristics of modern supercar. At the front, Keating Berus have one set of slim vertical lights and curved bonnet, with a large size air extractor.

The side of the car looks quite simple and only consists of one large air intake, using a middle engine that is unclear specifications. To the rear, seemed pinned active spoiler, and thin rear lights and oval shaped exhaust.
According to the company founder Dr. Anthony Keating, the supercar will be built in Bolton and has a weighs about 1 ton also is expected to give a spectacular performance. It also claimed to have a maximally speed up to 550 km/h and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2 seconds.
But it's still awkward when compared to the engine brought by Bugatti Chiron (W16 quad-turbo with a capacity of 8,000 cc) recorded only generate power up to 1,479 hp. To be sure, we wait for the presence of this supercar next year. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEXPRESS]
