The most bizarre Racing cars in the World

The racing cars are one of the ways of the automotive manufacturers to show that they have achieved success. Call it a Honda, Ferrari to Mercedes Benz and another auto makers that always involved in the various race events in the world.

Those automotive manufacturers are always improving and updating their engines that can go the fastest on the tarmac at the racing event. And the racing event was also used as means of promotion to sell their cars.

If you often watch the racing events, and you must have known the form of a racing car. However, have you ever see a racing car that is designed with a unique shape and strange? If not, let's see and read the review below.

1. Italcorsa Tarf II
The most bizarre racing car is Italcorsa Tarf II. This racing car used the Ferrari 246 Dino engine, ie a V6 DOHC 2,418 cc with three twin-choke carburetors and Rover gearbox.

Italcorsa Tarf II is a strange racing car because it has two parts, and also got the fitting nickname 'Bisiluro' (twin torpedo in Italian). The first section on the left is devoted to the driver to be more free driving. The second part is on the right is the engine of the car. Though odd-shaped, this car had been won seven speed record between 1951 and 1952.

2. Chaparral 2H
The racing car if it has wings on the back looks very cool. But what if the wings are in the middle of the car body and its size is exaggerated? Can it reach a maximum speed?

Such is the form of Chaparral 2H racing car that has big wing in the middle of the body and got the nickname 'The White Whale'. Because of its odd shape, the car created around 1970 was not sold on the market.

3. March 711
At the Formula 1 racing season in 1971, March Engineering teams was design a very strange racing car. An unusual thing fitted in the nose of the car there is a very large wing. They called the wing on the nose with the name Spitfire.

With an odd nose design, the team never been stand on the podium. The large strange wings in the nose makes the car slow.

4. BMW H2R

The car is equipped with a 6,000 cc V12 engine that has a maximum speed reached up to 301.95 km/h.

5. GreenGT H2
According to an Internet, somewhere, the Hammerhead shark has a disproportionately small mouth and does a lot of 'bottom-hunting'. What you see below isn’t a Hammerhead shark, but a Le Mans racer that looks an awful lot like one. Hydrogen power will always be odd, but this one must be the strangest hydrogen-powered car of all.

It’s called the GreenGT H2, and is a hydrogen-electric hybrid racer set by Garage 56 for the 2013 Le Mans endurace race, but failed to make the first hurdle, withdrawing ahead of the test day. Many in the paddock were concerned that the car was dangerous with its exposed hydrogen tanks, but the team claimed that the car was perfectly safe. What..?

6. Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Festiva Upside Down
Have you ever seen the car in reverse participated in the racing event? If not, you should see these cars designed by Jeff Bloch of SpeedyCop. No half-hearted, he created two overturned racing cars, the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Festiva Upside Down.

According to the scientists, the meteor explosion believed to potentially cause problems if it occurs at a location close to residential areas.

"If it happens in the most populous region, the explosion would break the glass windows and the possibility of scaring a lot of people," says a scientist named Phil Plait. "However, I doubt if you say the explosion will cause great damage," he continued.

The incident was logged on Nasa’s Near Earth Fireball Report page, when it came to prominence. The meteor explosion was the strongest since a fireball appears in the sky of Chelyabinsk, Russia, on February 2013 ago. At that time, the explosion was leave at least 1,600 people were injured. Most were injured by shards of glass.

A Stylish Estonian Custom Tourer Bike

I thought of it to be a German or probably an American bike but never to be a bike from Estonia, officially the Republic of Estonia, situated in the Baltic region of Northern Europe, but this stylish tourer bike seems to defy all my presumptions.
The Renard GT, a stylish tourer bike made by an Estonian motorcycle maker named Renard Motorcycles. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1XRQlr)
Everything was started by an Estonian entrepreneur J. Laan set up a motorcycle manufacturing company named Renard Motorcycles in the late-1930s in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The factory was destroyed in 1944, during the World War II, but a group of Estonian entrepreneurs, designers and engineers teamed up in 2008 to revive the Renard brand. And their first new motorcycle named 'Renard GT' is expected to go into production in late-2011.

The tourer bike unveiled for the first time at the Hanover Technology Fair 2010 in April 2010, the Renard Grand Tourer is fitted with a longitudinally-mounted 1,151 cc V-twin engine that’s been sourced from Moto Guzzi. The 8-valve fuel-injected engine produces 125 hp at 8,000 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm – enough to propel the bike (which weighs 190 kg dry) to a top speed of about 230 km/h. Faster enough to get you fly on the road.

According to the company, the Renard GT is a 'sporty power cruiser,' with best-in-class handling and build quality. And while the bike’s engine is a bit ordinary, its Kevlar-reinforced carbonfibre monocoque chassis is anything but.
The company said further, this chassis is resistant to impact and vibration, is very light and stiff and works perfectly with the bike’s fully adjustable suspension to provide quick and precise steering. This load-bearing chassis is also an integral part of the GT’s unique styling – we think the bike looks totally cool.
The Renard GT went into production line by the end of 2011 and if you always wanted a funky looking made-in-Estonia sports-tourer, this might be the answer to your dreams. For more details, visit the Renard website here. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RENARD MOTORCYLES]

The story of the last Dragons on Earth

The medieval cartographers marking at a number of sites located in the Lesser Sunda Islands or Nusa Tenggara: as the abode of the dragon. The dragons what they mean can not fly or breathe fire. However, the creature was no less terrible than mythical animals in a fairy tale. With the body of 3 meters and weighing 70 kilograms, these animals can run up to speeds of 29 km/h to catch its prey.

So when they get or catch their preys in the form of a water buffalo or elk, these creatures will use their razor sharp teeth to tear prey, while injecting a poison that makes its victims to bleed to death were tortured.
The city of Labuan Bajo dubbed the 'Gate of Komodo'. So when you landed in Labuan Bajo not complete if you do not visit and look the Komodo (Varanus komodoensis) as the last dragons in Earth. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1XdBI1)
Not only animals, 'dragon' had also been prey on humans. The dragon in question is Komodo (Varanus komodoensis), which inhabits the island of Rinca, Gili Motang, Nusa Kode, Flores and Komodo.

Actually, the giant reptiles are originally from Australia, they lived in the Kangaroo continent millions of years ago before migrating and reach Indonesian territory about 900 thousand years ago.

Komodo dragons live in the rugged landscape, bush and savanna. Animals that can be camouflaged and waiting patiently for prey to approach them. They will eat anything, even human.

"I have seen what can be done by these animals and how much they could injure a human being," said Achmad Ariefiandy of Komodo Survival Program (KSP). "No need to be like a movie star anyway if you eventually will be bitten by them."

There was a horrendous incident related to the Komodo dragons attack. which occurred in the Los Angeles Zoo, the United States in 2001. At that time, a komodo dragon trying to prey on foot of Phil Bronstein, an editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, which incidentally is the husband of the famous artist, Sharon Stone. Fortunately, the victim can survive even had to undergo treatment at the hospital.

Komodo can devour prey up to 80 percent of their body weight, and then they do not need to eat for a few weeks with only silence to sun bath. On several occasions, they attacked the people who live near their habitat. There were four human costs in the last 4 decades, the locals treat it as 'sacred animal'.

"The creature has a number of weapons systems," said Bryan Fry of the University of Queensland, was quoted as saying some of the BBC on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
"The teeth become the main weapon. However, if you do not die due to rupture of the femoral artery, the prey will undoubtedly have died due to blood loss."

An endangered animal
Although Komodo survived from various natural disaster: the ice age, sea level rise, earthquakes, tsunamis that happened and also devastating on the Lesser Sunda Islands.

Although tough, in fact, the biggest threat to dragons is the population and the growing human activity. Komodo captured and sold to the zoo or to the collector. Their feet and skin are considered achievements in hunting activities. Besides that the rise in sea level that is also as a result of human activities.

So the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List gives the label as an endangered animal. The Komodo National Park and many conservation efforts have so far managed to keep the animals from extinction. However, that does not mean there is no threat at all.

The other causes, the number of eggs produced by females very little. There is no guarantee the komodo dragons can continue to survive or grow up to 7 meters like their ancestors before.

Here it is, one good news, the animal conservation efforts are also done in some zoos. It was supported by the fact that the female komodo dragons can give birth in virgin condition. Flora, the Komodo dragon that living in the Chester Zoo, London became one evident. In 2006, she gave birth to eight Komodo eggs. Through the process of parthenogenesis (asexual reproduction without fertilization).

The incident at London Zoo was recorded as the first Komodo dragons parthenogenesis in the world. The animal conservation efforts began when Claudio Ciofi, a biologist at the University of Florence who arrived in Indonesia in mid-1990s and 'falling love' with the komodo dragons.

The fact that the Komodo dragons conservation efforts initiated and led mostly foreigners, recognized by Ariefiandy as 'shameful'. "Komodo is the Indonesian national animals, Indonesian people should be done more for the komodo research and another protection efforts," he said. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BBC]
