One of Göring's Mercedes Special Roadsters found in Russia

When rare and classic cars have a high value historial indeed sometimes can be sold and the price is unreasonable. Just as with a Mercedes 540K Special Roadster is believed to have been used by Hermann Göring, one of high-ranking Nazi officers who is very close to Adolf Hitler.

As far we knew, Göring had one with bullet-proof glass and bomb-resistant armour, which was shipped to the US after the war and restored. But.......
Restored ... Hermann Göring's Mercedes 540K Special Roadster. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1O1R7eN)
As quotes from The Sun on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, when Nick Szkiler heard about an armoured classic sports car rusting away on a Russian farm, he was immediately approached and found the shell of an almost identical 1942 cabriolet Mercedes.

He believed to have belonged to Hitler’s second-in-command Hermann Göring, especially the car's original color was Göring's favourite aviation blue could still be seen.

Nick has been asked to find a buyer. He said, "There’s little doubt that this was also Göring’s. It would take at least a seven-figure sum to recondition it, then it’d be worth £12 million."
Can you imagine the £12 million or approx US. $18.321 million. Wow... That's a very expensive for a car that was found on a farm in Russia. But, for some rich classic car collectors that numbers is considered appropriate. Moreover, besides having a high historical value, the Mercedes 540K Special Roadster is built as many as 26 units. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | THE SUN]

The Brat

In the Thailand International Motor Expo 2015 event, Honda showed off a scambler motorcycle concept which has a quite frightening design.

Actually this is not a new motorcycle concept. A few weeks earlier this motorcycle has appeared with form is not full. Well, this time Honda did not hesitate to show off the original form that is enough to make my skin crawl.

Imagine, the design of this bike is actually suitable for off-road terrain as seen as its huge tires with a form identical to the off-road terrain. If true, then it's going to be amazing. No tail in the back, leaving only minimalist seat which makes it look selfish.

In spite of it all, as reported by the Morebikes on December 3, 2015 that the motorcycle is based on Honda CB500F. Honda called the motorcycle as 'The Brat'.
There is no detailed information related to its engine or other technical specifications. But at least it makes us all the more curious is not it? We look forward to just what this cool motorcycle going into mass production line. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOREBIKES]

Getting to know the new generation of Triumph Bonneville

The famous British motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph have introduced the latest Bonneville family models in late October 2015 ago. The retro-looking motorcycles remain memorable as the 1950s motorcycles, but more and more able to adapt the modern civilization through a number of updates.

In total there are five models were born to fill the row of Bonneville family, namely Street Twin with the engine capacity of 900 cc, and there are four models that hold 1,200 cc engine, ie the Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Thruxton, and Thruxton R. The all-five motorcycles bring new technology and equipped with the radiator.

Triumph states that this engine has more power and greater torque than the old generation. Remarkably, even with a number of new technologies that make it more efficient 30 percent for Street Twin model, and a dozens of percent to 1,200 cc models.

Although at first glance the appearance of the latest version is not much different from its predecessor, but when examined more deeply, much has changed, especially the use of a new chassis that is claimed to be more supportive of agility and riding comfort.

For some fans, liquid-cooled engine was not anything great. Precisely sadness that may arise. Bonneville is a part of history, just as Harley-Davidson was sold not because of technology or resilience, but because of pride.

However, the European emissions regulations make Triumph felt there was no other choice. The Euro4 minimum standards for motorcycles make the old engines should be evicted to meet those needs.

In early December 2015, Triumph has finally announced the price. The Bonneville Street Twin models sold for £7,300, or the equivalent of Rp.151 million. While Bonneville T120 and T120 Black released at £9,600 (Rp.199 million). While the price for Thruxton models will be announced next year. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORCYCLE USA]

It is estimated that the global launching event will be held in 2016, the i8 Spyder will likely wear softtop folding instead hardtop of aluminum or carbon fiber materials, considering the very limited space in this middle-engined car.

A rare species of Nautilus reappear after 30 years in hiding

Almost 30 years have passed since the last sighting of Allonautilus scrobiculatus when these creatures are swimming in front of the camera Peter Ward at the end of August 2015 ago, far below the sea of Papua New Guinea.

A rare species of nautilus, a marine mollusc, a distant relative of squid and cuttlefish, sometimes called a "living fossil" because of their appearance almost unchanged. They have inhabited the planet for 500 million years and survived two of largest mass extinctions, yet little is known about them.
A detailed shot reveals the fuzzy texturing of Allonautilus scrobiculatus as well as the visible spiral in its shell, and the pinhole eye and thin flexible tentacles emerging from the harder tentacle sheaths shared by other nautiloids as well. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1NyXew3)
Peter Ward, who is a biologist at the University of Washington in Seattle, and his colleague, Bruce Saunders first described the A. scrobiculatus in 1984. The shape of the shell looks heavier than the leaner shells from the other animals in the family Nautilidae. However, it seems they have evolved in a relatively new ways. "It was in over his head, what we think of as primitive," said Ward.
Gregory Barord releases two Allonautilus scrobiculatus with ultrasonic transmitters attached to the dorsal sides of their shells. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1NyXew3)
To finding them is a major challenge. To get a glimpse of the picture, Ward's team uses a special camera lowered deep at between 150m to 400m along with fish or chicken meat as bait. A. scrobiculatus can only survive within a narrow depth range, and only possible in some locations. Four of the creature has a radio transmitter attached to them so that the Ward's team can track their later.
Now some scientists and environment activists feared that their habitat may be under threat, ironically, by a company that bears their name. Nautilus Minerals, Toronto-based mining company, has been given permission by the government of Papua New Guinea to begin the mining of deep sea hydrothermal vents in the area. NGOs and environmental activist groups continue to campaign against the project. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON | NATIONAL GEOGRAHIC | TELEGRAPH]\
