The holographic era is in sight

Pretty soon Microsoft will launch Hololens that will change the world about how we use computers in the future or it also can be said an era where we will be increasingly rarely use computer monitors. Hololens is an eyewear that combines the real world with the virtual world or called the augmented reality technology.

Through Hololens later many things that can be done without having to use a computer (monitor and keyboard). Name it whatever, we can design something without touching the monitor and keyboard, just use Hololens and our hands.

The greatness of a merger between the real and virtual world allows us to incorporate the design into a real object, for example when someone is designing a motorcycle, the design can be applied directly to the real object (the motorcycle frame).
With Microsoft Hololens, you can designing a motorcycle and the design can be applied directly to the real object (the motorcycle frame). (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1yKuUPh)
Of course there are many more things you can do and if you want to know roughly what the hell to do, can see the video below.
And this Microsoft Hololens will work with Windows OS 10 platform, which will be launched in the near future. Well, everything may become easier with this technology. We'll wait for the debut later. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MICROSOFT  | BAGOGAMES]

Russian ready to build strategic stealth bomber

Tupolev Design Bureau, part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has completed the initial design of the PAK DA, the most sophiticated of Russian's strategic remotely bomber. And it estimated in three years Russia has been able to have this plane.

PAK DA (in some military aviation literature also written PAK-DA) is the new generation of Russian's strategic bombers draft with stealth technology that developed by Tupolev Design Bureau. The Tupolev PAK-DA (Perspektivnyi Aviatsionnyi Aviatsii Dal'ney Complex) strategic stealth bomber is scheduled to be operational at least started in 2025 and the slowest start in 2030.

PAK-DA will eventually replace the role of Tu-95 MS, Tu-160 and Tu-22 3M aircrafts in the Russian Air Force weaponry. Director of UAC, Mikhail Pogosyan announced that the manufacture of some components for the assembly of prototype testing will begin in the near future.

The final design of PAK-DA is ready, but no one can predict the development of aviation in the future, so it is still a possibility to be modified. At the time of launch the PAK-DA project in 1999, the aircraft designers are faced with a difficult question: Is the Russian Air Force need subsonic or supersonic plane?
The sketch of Tupelov PAK-DA stealth bombers. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1AnZaif)
Supersonic aircraft can break through all air defense weapons, but because of its aerodynamic features, this aircraft is too flashy for the enemy. In addition, the supersonic bombers fuel consumption is extremely wasteful, so the aircraft can not fly away in the air without refueling. Finally, aircraft designers chose to make a subsonic bomber aircraft. Viktor Bondar, Supreme Commander of the Russian Air Force stated the advantages of PAK-DA is the aircraft have more capacity than the Tu-160. In addition, weapons owned would be much more devastating. Meanwhile, other problems will be resolved by the presence of missiles.

The new plane will be built based on the scheme of "flying wing" which the aircraft type which airs only with wings, and no tail. The fuselage (airframe) is almost flat and dimensionally reduced. The general role of the fuselage to accommodating the crews, equipments, cargos, and so on, is charged on the wings. The wings are also could fitted with weapons and crews. Most manufacturing of the "flying wing" aircraft with "stealth" (low observable) technology. Possibly, this new bomber aircraft will be made in order to trick the radar with forming the ribs lines, to disperse the enemy radar beam.

Currently the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) conducting a study of the properties of "flying wing" aerodynamic. This makes Russia has a basis for producing stealth aircraft as the competitor of American-owned B-2 Spirit.

PAK-DA has a weighs 120 tons. No less than a quarter of the weight is an important transport goods such as fuels, crews, and armaments. The aircraft will also be equipped with a hypersonic weapon. The first prototype of PAK-DA will be completed in 2017. In 2019, the prototype will be conduct flight test and in 2025 the aircraft will enter into the Russian Air Force weaponry system.

The entry of new aircraft into the Russian Air Force will dismiss the use of Tu-160 and Tu-95 aircrafts, which are currently take a role as the Russian mainstay aircrafts for long-haul flights. After 2025, the bombers were to be retired and replaced by the PAK-DA. Currently, Russia has 32 units of Tu-95 MS strategic bombers and 16 unit of Tu-160 supersonic aircraft based in the city of Engels. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES ]

Cosmotron unique car made of BMW Z3

While still a child, many of which show the design of a car to Paul Bacon and said that future car models will be like this. But the fact that he was able to buy his own car, car manufacturers have never made a car like he imagined.

Do not want to be disappointed with hope in his childhood, then Bacon create his own dream car. Then he took BMW Z3 as the base and finish the car for 18 months.

Sure you can imagine, the difficulty that he lived in the period of development which he did. Especially if we look at the car model, not a single part of the base car that could indicated the car was a BMW Z3.
Interior view of Cosmotron. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1tPJb7H)
The first thing he disassembled is part of the car body. Then make a correction on the car's frame and make it conform to the pattern of the car body that he would aplicated later. After done with the work on the frame, Bacon then remodel the parts under the car to make sure no flexible part in the car's frame.
Rear side view of Cosmotron. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1tPJb7H)
Especially because the car body is worked using polystyrene material. So the material layered with fiber glass. Dome cover made of the same material with the Car body, and looks very aesthetic. It formed with steel reinforcement around the dome and operate using the motor.
The rest nothing is changed on this car. This means that the machine's working system, power until the vehicle driver components suffered minor modifications only. Unfortunately, Bacon selling this car for the reason that he needed more money to realize more bigger dream. Hmm, whether it is a  unique car again? I Have No Idea... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION]

Mysterious signal emanating from outer space

Humans have long been scanning the sky, searching for radio signals that might come from an alien or intelligent beings far beyond Earth.

And recently scientists from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia managed to capture the alien radio signals emitted in the air in real time. The first time in the world.
One possible theory is the fast radio burst was the result of an exploding star. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1BZnHMm)
Previously, indeed, there were 9 beam radio signals from space since 2007. However, it is known from existing data, not observed directly.

Emily Petroff, a principal investigator, said the findings produced it brings astronomers a step closer to understanding the strange cosmic phenomenon that has long puzzled scientists make.

"A burst of radio signals did not last long, just a wink of the eye. That's what makes these findings are very interesting," he said quoted by News.com.au.

"Because we were able to catch the signal directly, rather than the review of existing data, we can reveal that the incident radiation caused more than 2 percent of circularly polarized. And it shows that there is a strong magnetic field near the source of the signal.

Circular or circular shape of the wave has never been seen before. Foreign. Unlike on Earth.

The origin of the signal is still mysterious. However, scientists believe, whatever it is, must be the source large, powerful, and a distance of 5.5 billion light years from humans.

"There are two models that are considered to explain the phenomenon," he said.

The first model, it could be the result of whole or explosion of a star in one galaxy. "Another model shows, the signal was coming from some burning energy of the neutron star." Neutron star is the final phase of the life cycle of a big star.

However, Petroff said, it could be both turned out to be wrong. "It could be a signal that comes from an entirely different source." Alien signal? Scientists have not found the answer.

Petroff said, the observation signals carried through Parkes Telescope - a 64-meter diameter parabolic dish used for radio astronomy in New South Wales.

"In this project we direct the telescope to the location where the beam before - which is known from the study of data - come," he said. "Very interesting encounter a similar incident near the source of the first."

Once the signal is recorded, directing project teams in 12 other existing telescopes around the world to the point of origin of the signal. "However, none have met the other beam."

Earlier, in 2010, a strange message sent Voyager 2 unmanned aircraft belonging to the United States, which was launched August 20, 1977. The data that is sent from a distance of 8.6 billion miles it unreadable.

Speculation was rampant. Allegations of the spacecraft hijacked by aliens that sends a reply NASA message. As is known, according to Stephen Hawking, an astrophysicist said, that NASA ever send signals into space in the form of a song from the legendary pop group, The Beatles  titled "Across the Universe".

Meanwhile, in 2013, its twin brother Voyager 1 has been left Heliosphere - a bubble in outer space that is "blown" in the interstellar medium by the solar wind. Then became the farthest (man-made) object which had been leave the Earth. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NEWS.COM.AU]

A beautiful Russian wooden crafted motorcycle

Sometimes people can make really beautiful things, and sometimes they can do that little bit more making an already beautiful object into a form of art.

Russian Dmitri Goubenko is one of those people. Look at what he made. By using wood in motorcycle building is not a new practice, but Dmitry Gubenko's carved wood custom bike beats everything we have seen so far.

This is a motorcycle made out of mostly wood. It is a real motorcycle, so it works. The frame and engine are obviously not made out of wood, but the rest is, and it is hand carved.

He may have exaggerated a bit, as Dmitry took two years to complete this build, but the result is breath taking. The amount of detail makes us thinks about the almost insane sculptures of old gothic cathedrals.

The bike is dominated by the oak symbol, with leaves and acorns and there's hardly a place left untouched by Dmitry's skill. From spoke covers to the intricate detail of the rear fender and side covers, this bike is a full-on work of art (See Vietnamese unique wood-made motorcycle.) *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORBIKE | AUTOEVOLUTION]

Indian prepare two new motorcycles

One of the US legendary motorcycle brand, Indian Motorcycles indicated is preparing two new models to be rolled at least in 2016. One of the closest is the Indian Chief Dark Horse.

The leaks were revealed from the certification document of the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which includes this model and one other models. From these data also found that the machine will be used by this new motorcycle will be the same as that used by the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain, and Roadmaster.
