One notable addition to the EV landscape is the Chevrolet Blazer EV, an electric vehicle set to be mass-produced by Chevrolet and hit the roads of the United States in the upcoming summer 2023. This move came as no surprise, given the industry's increasing emphasis on renewable and eco-friendly automotive solutions.

As quoted from Gizmochina, General Motors (GM) will be manufactured the Blazer EV at their factory in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. The vehicle debuted at CES 2022 and will soon be available in the American market, with prices ranging from $44,995 (approx Rp. 678,300,000) to $65,995 (approx Rp, 994,875,000).

The Blazer EV lineup comprises several variants, namely the 1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS, thereby augmenting Chevrolet's already captivating product offerings. Additionally, a Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) based on the SS variant will be available to cater to law enforcement fleets.

Its distinct exterior design sets it apart from its conventional, fuel-powered counterpart, featuring a signature two-tone body and a sleek, covered front grille. Stepping inside the cabin, the Blazer EV boasts premium materials, turbo-inspired air ventilation, a generous 17.7-inch central control screen, and an 11-inch instrument panel. The RS and SS models enhance the driving experience with additional features like a flat-bottom steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats, and ambient lighting.

While specific power specifications are yet to be disclosed, all Blazer EV models offer independent front and rear suspensions, ensuring a harmonious balance between driving comfort and responsiveness.
