Here's the candidate for the fastest hypercar from Italy

SomeONE Dream Let's go get closer quickly, if you want to know what is going on in the automotive world today. Since it's not every day there's a hypercar announced, even more it's rarer that we see one of those creations actually go into production.

This could be a different story which would written by Angelelli Automobili, Rome based automotive startup founded by Davide Angelelli back in 2015. As quoted of Carscoops, the Italian automotive startup trying to keep its dream alive through its best effort to build a new hypercar called the Superperformante D-1.

From what it looks like, at this point the Superperformante D-1 is nothing more than an artist and engineer's rendering images. The company's websites are filled with aspirational design images and languages but no photos or videos of actual products, parts or production facilities. Still, it's fun to see what one company thinks could be the next great hypercar. From what can be told from there, the D-1 is envisioned with four different trims that may or may not be available in the future.

Among them, the lowest claimed power output of 1,000-hp (745 kW) thanks to the combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor. The company even thinks that it can reach over 300 mph (482 kph), something it has heard many times in the past without ever having seen it. On top of the aforementioned base car is the D-1 Model S powered by a 1,250-hp hybrid setup similar to that found on the base model consisting of a twin-turbocharged V6 driving the rear wheels combined with a pair of electric motors driving the front.

The fiercest Superperformante D-1 will use a 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 1,350-hp (1,06.7 kW), and the automaker claimed that it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in 1.9 seconds. Not bad...in numbers.
If this car was actually produced in any form, everyone would be surprised, because such a performance would surprise any brand. That kind of acceleration is now only for cars like the Rimac Nevera and the Tesla Model S Plaid. And such a top speed has only been touched by a car like the Bugatti Chiron. Keep on dreaming, not to forget give also some hopes to other had to see the dream comes true.👍 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ANGELELLI AUTOMOBILI | CARSCOOPS ]
