Lamborghini Squadra Corse SC18, one-off racing car of Sant' Agata

Lamborghini Squadra Corse recently fulfilled its consumer demand by concocting specifically car for the racing arena named Lamborghini Squadra Corse SC18. This is the only car out of the Lamborghini racing division's production line at Sant ’Agata Bolognese. The SC18 car is claimed to meet the feasibility of driving on the highway as well, despite the design fully to work on the racing track.

Centro Stile Lamborghini was also involved in the SC18 design with Squadra Corse. By prioritizing the side of aerodynamics, the racing elements are seen starting from the lattice muzzle of the Huracan GT3 EVO styled air intake holes.

The side and rear-side fenders, fins and wind catchers are inspired by the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO. The most obvious is the large rear wing made of carbon fiber with three measurements mechanically, which can increase compressive force on various circuits.

On the rear hood equipped with twelve air intake holes, and it claimed to have been carried out periodic testing during endurance racing. It also can release heat quickly and increase the cooling of the V12 engine while speeding on the track.

Certainly the engine used by this car is the best of the Lamborgini's V12 engine rows. Yes, the engine used is a V12 engine with a capacity of 6,498 cc non-turbo. It able to exert power of up to 770 hp at 8,500 rpm and torque of 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm.

In order to be tame when racing, so the ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) is pinned to optimize the 7-speed transmission shift. In addition, the car can be raced faster thanks to the use of carbon fiber kit body and the distance to the ground only 109 mm.

The most exclusive of the SC18 is the carbon fiber coloring (the Grigio Daytona gray) with the distinct details and on several car's body sections were red-painted to enhance its sporty and fierce appearance at once while racing on the track.

While entering into the cabin, we will be greeted by the luxurious material of the Nero Ade's black-colored Alcantara and sweetened with cross stitches with Rosso Alala's red contrast thread. Meanwhile its bucket seats made of carbon fiber materials and remains with dark accents.

This car uses 20 inches alloy wheels in front and 21 inches behind and to be more practical the rims are tied with one bolt only. Furthermore, all of the rims are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa's special developed tires and also attached the telemetry system to find out various aspects of the performance on the track..
