The newest Audi's electric supercar concept

For the development of faster electric car technology, Audi seems to know what they have to do. Through the teaser image that was released some time ago, Audi's seriousness was shown to give birth to an electric supercar concept which was later named Audi PB18 E-Tron.

And the concept car reportedly will carry out its debut on August 23, 2018 at Laguna Seca before being taken to the event at Pebble Beach.

Although Audi only released dark teaser images from the front of the car, it seems that this will be one of the bases for the study of electric-powered supercars from the German automotive manufacturer.

While the name of 'PB18,' apparently refers to the place of Pebble Beach and its debut year, which is 2018. But regarding the details of this concept, Audi seems very careful and still reluctant to disclose it.

The German automotive manufacturer only said that the PB18 E-Tron took a lot of inspiration from their previous electric racing car named Audi R18 e-Tron that had won the Le Mans race event, then the technology was relegated to the PB18 supercar concept.

And it seems also that Audi is interested in communicating their focus on the electrification of cars and the PB18 e-Tron concept will sit as the top sub-brand leader of Audi e-Tron.

The Audi PB18 e-Tron concept car is said to be designed by Malibu Design Loft whose also one of the subsidiaries owned by Audi in America. In addition to Laguna Seca and Pebble Beach, the Audi PB18 e-Tron will be displayed in "The Quail" on August 24, 2018. Just guessing, that these concept car is a real form of the Audi Vision GranTurismo concept car.
