Seeing Apollo Enraged

One of German supercar manufacturers, Gumpert has long not been heard. But at the Geneva Motor Show 2012, Gumpert give a surprise by launching the special edition supercar.

The Gumpert's special supercar named 'Apollo Enraged'. The German automotive manufacturers have not only managed to hide the figure of Apollo Enraged until one day before the opening of the Geneva Motor Show 2012, but this supercar will also be one of the most exclusive car after Lamborghini Aventador J. Because Apollo Enraged reportedly produced only three units.

The special supercar body built by using materials of aluminum and carbon fiber with Vortex generator. Rear wing and wheel ventilation also comes with a lightweight carbon fiber. In addition to the use of the parts from carbon fiber material, this supercar is also used F1-style airbox, air lift system and the installation of the large diffuser at the rear.

To beautify its body design, the concept of newfangled LED fog lights are also mounted in the front bumper lip. And a set of new aluminum wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires  also clarify the sporty feel of this supercar. The interior upholstery is covered with leather and given embroidery on the headrests and accompanied by a digital instrument panel with LCD.

Although present with nuances of racing car concept, this limited edition supercar can also be used on public roads as other supercars. Apollo Enraged comes with reliable performance, because by relying on the V8 Twin-Turbo engine that has a capacity of 4.2 liter, which is capable of generating power of 780 hp with a torque of 919 Nm.

With the engine performance and better aerodynamic design, this supercar can accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds (same as New Aventador). As for acceleration from 0-200 km/h can be reached in just 8.7 seconds.
